Gordon Ramsay Steak - Horseshoe Casino Baltimore
We had a great time celebrating my boyfriend's 30th birthday here. We were complemented with a glass of champagne to celebrate. We ordered a handful of Gordon's classic dishes like the lobster risotto, seared scallops, and beef wellington. All delicious and cooked to perfection-- just as I always imagined while watching his shows! Great time and we will be back again for future celebrations.
Service was excellent as well as the food. We had the large seafood tower as our dinner along with a market salad. The seafood was served warm instead of cold at our request. It was soooo good!
We had a great experience. The server was friendly and provided great service. The food was delicious from appetizers to desserts. The ambiance was nice and it was an overall wonderful fine dining experience.
Awesome experience, everything was amazing from the decor, to the very disciplined and well dressed staff, to the well seasoned, tender steak.
The experience was amazing. I would highly recommend
Very average steakhouse. If you charge over $50 for a steak, you expect it to be cooked correctly and to be a good cut of meat. My NY Strip was brought out more well-done than medium rare, and the service was very slow. Would not recommend over a Capital Grille or Del Frisco's.
We are fans of the various Gordon Ramsey television productions, therefore eager to dine at one of his namesake restaurants. Knowing we would be in Baltimore, we made advanced reservations at Gordon Ramsey Steak.
Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted and seated. A wine menu was provided on request. A bottle was ordered but as the server was opening it she noticed, to her credit, that it was not the vintage I had requested from the list. She departed with the bottle only to return with the apology the wine listed was no longer available. We substituted the bottle she had previously begun opening.
The server arrived to take our orders, I reached for the menu to find it was missing. The menu was requested and returned. We ordered two steaks per their menu descriptions: one American Filet and one American Eye of the Ribeye with several sides. I specifically requested my steak be served without sauce, yet it arrived garnished with a derived gravy. One of the sides ordered was Sautéed Spinach, yet that which was served appeared and tasted as though it came directly from a can. I consumed one half of the Eye of Ribeye, relegating the remainder to a take home bag due to excessive connective tissue. There was simply too much tendon to be enjoyable. I had to keep discarding bites after chewing them for an extended time. My dog got lucky! The American filet was a nice piece of meat, tender and properly grilled. Two of the other sides were also very tasty, the Roasted Corn and the Brussel Sprouts. I can easily recommend these three items to you! The appetizer we ordered, Maryland Blue Crab Soup was also exceptionally tasty and well served. The remaining dinner items served were dull and boring. Both deserts were visually appealing and tasted good.
In summary out of eleven items ordered, we received six which were expertly prepared and served. The experience was pleasant overall, but disappointing. A dinner for two costing just shy of five hundred dolla
This was my first time eating at Gordon Ramsey Steak at the Horseshoe casino. I have eaten at the one in Las Vegas ever time I am there and was hoping for the same quality of meal. The food was ok I just know how good it can be from eating at the Vegas location. My wife has the beef Wellington and the sauce didn’t taste right and the Wellington had a very different taste to it. The baked potato and the side of mushrooms were excellent. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding which came out at slightly above room temp. When we have gotten it before it came out hot and once the caramel was dumped on top it just had a much better flavor then what it was here. We came here hoping to find a place that we don’t have to fly to go to but it just fell short. We even noticed that the silverware that they used wasn’t as good and felt cheap. The booth that we were in had missing buttons on the upholstery and was missing the simple touches that a restaurant at this price point should have.
Everything was really good. We ordered the tasting which consisted of a 5 course meal for a party of two. The wait time between courses were a little longer than expected. The main meal came out a lukewarm. Overall, it's a good place to dine and the best restaurant at Horseshoe.
The place was loud, my food was barley warm. The lobster was chewy, the Wellington to rare and too salty. Potatoes were cold. The best thing was the risotto. Service was amazing but doesn't make up for the high price and so so quality is the food. I expected so much more.
Excellent time. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent experience!
I was very disappointed in the new bread that they offered they were round rolls extremely dry and crumbly
We were able to get a reservation right away. On the website there was an option to let them know if you were celebrating something special so I selected that it was our 3rd wedding anniversary and they gave us complimentary champagne when we arrived! The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu and she also offered great recommendations. The food was AMAZING! We had the Brussels sprouts, mushroom, and potato purée and they were DELICIOUS! My husband had the dry aged ribeye and I had the American Filet Wagyu and it was worth every penny!
Dined here before and it was exceptional. This time, not so much. Our resv were for 5 pm. Though they called me to confirm, we were missed.
1 ordered sea bass again and it was great.
1 ordered shortrub and it was cold, not warm, cold. As were the accompanying items. The side was great and hot.
I had a great dinner experience at the restaurnt on Saturday night AND I received a complimentary glass of "Bubbly" for my Birthday :)! I will absolutely visit this restaurant again
The food was to die for absolutely amazing. My party and I have a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing as well. You only live once, this was a memorial experience. Thank you again to the chef and staff.
This was such an amazing experience. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional from when we walked in until we left. Definitely will be back!!
We have enjoyed several meals and will continue to come back. Our server George was the best yet!
The food was excellent BUT the service was only fair. The ambiance in this place was dreadful -- very loud in the dining area because of the music from the bar area; the music being played in the bar area was WAY TOO LOUD and it made the experience in the dining area very unpleasant. It would be nice if the bar in a closed-off section away from the dining room. The men's restroom was a disaster, water everywhere, the hot water sink fixture was broken and unusable. Overall, very disappointing for the price.
Great food and outstanding service! I will visit again because they make you feel like you’re just as important as any other guests!
Wow, what an extraordinary meal. We started with the bar bites. Pork belly was amazing. Beef Wellington was great and the corn and mac with peas were fantastic.
The service was excellent as always. The New York Strip steak was DELICIOUS as were the grilled Caesar salad and fingerling potatoes. We had another wonderful meal at Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse.
Service was slow. My wife’s beef Wellington was over done. The food was good, not great. Not worth the money we paid.
Not as pleasant experience as in the past. John was our waiter, did not get order right, we had to wait for our sautéed spinach, we wanted baked potatoes one extra butter the other loaded ingredients on the side, one came out with loaded ingredients on top. Then had incident when John was wiping off place mat he hit my glass of wine in my hand so it was all over my outfit, all he could say was it got on him as well( unexceptable). So you would think he would bring my wine, no, I had to ask for it, keep in mind I had only had one or two sips out of the glass prior to it being knocked over. He really did nothing to correct the incident, such as offering to pay for my cleaning bill, or as simple as saying meal in the house since our night wasn’t perfect. Still not sure why these things were not offered, hope it had nothing to do with the color of my skin.
All in all, everything was very good with 1 exception. Being a steak house, I would think there would not be issues with the temperature of the meat. My husband ordered medium rare and the steak came out Rare. No excuses here, and it took almost 10 minutes to get the steak back.
This really did dissapoint us.
Service was excellent and the food in general was good.
It was very pricey. The food was good but not exceptional. I was expecting to be wowed but I was only pleased. For the cost, I wanted to be wowed.
Amazing!! My husband and I both love Hell’s Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay in general, so for our anniversary we went here! We figured since the military brought us here, we should do all the cool local things we can before we move away!
They even gave us free champagne for our anniversary:)
My husband got the New York strip, medium rare (which he never gets lol) but it was the perfect mix of brown, pink, and a warm red center. I had the salmon which was amazing with the jalapeño purée on the plate. We had a side of truffle fries as an appetizer which were the bomb!!
Overall it’s amazing and you need to go here if you’re around Baltimore!!
Price inconsistent with offerings. Many nearby choices of equivalent quality at lower price. Otherwise fine.
It was the worst. It was our anniversary and my wife had to send her steak back because it was overcooked. We didn’t have this problem the first time but for this occasion it was horrible. They brought out another steak but at this point dinner was done so she packed it to go. Very upsetting because it was our anniversary.
It was my birthday, and the food was on point and the service was outstanding
The pork belly was a little on the dry side. My beef Wellington was not what I was expecting after watching all of Gordon Ramsay's shows on TV; it was not served as he expects it on those shows. The sauce was on the mashed potatoes, not the beef. I ordered a soda and it never showed up. I would not return.
I would highly recommend this steakhouse... the steak was worth every penny (or should I say dollar).
The service was wonderful. The entire meal was wonderful.
Our waiter Mizan was incredibly kind and knowledgeable! The food was amazing. I will surely be returning!
Absolutely amazing food and service. Lovely atmosphere. Just a wonderful dining experience!
I took my wife to Gordon Ramsay Steak to celebrate her birthday. It was everything we hoped it would be. We ordered the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious. Truly felt taken care of, staff was amazing. We traveled almost two hours to go here specifically. Worth the money and the trip!
After one and a half hours, our food finally got on the table. The table was shaking, the waiter kept ignoring us. Food was okay, I really can't tell. After one and a half hours waiting, I really can't tell because I'm staring!!!!!! Won't recommend any people to this restaurant again
Was just expecting more compared to his other restaurants.
Amazing food recommend everyone to try it.
By far, one of my best culinary experiences!! I obviously ordered the signature specials and I was so glad I ordered those. The presentation on steaks and the thought behind giving us recommendations on what to order / what combinations of drinks and food work well we’re fantabulous! My only regret : I didn’t have Chef Ramsay to say hello and to pass compliments to. LOVED it!
