Great dining experience. Would definitely recommend.
I love coming to this restaurant. The food is always wonderful and the service is great. I would recommend this for a special occasion or a good meal.
The smoked chicken pasta was incredible. I appreciate the free dessert for my birthday, but the chocolate brownie could’ve been more soft and moist, it was too chewy.
Have always had great food but ordered the chicken schnitzel which I normally order and love. My food came way over cooked and they said they would make it tight. It came back barely cooked and almost mushy. Not sure how this happened as they were big busy.
Food was great and the waitress was super nice. Service was slow but the waitress had zero help and did the best she could..We weren’t in a hurry, so overall still love this place.
Fantastic ambience, wonderful menu choices, great atmosphere.
Dropped by for dessert. Hit the spot for us on a nice casual date evening.
Great happy hour here for both drinks & food. We absolutely love the French dip sliders. My daughter's favorite dish is the boneless wings platter. They switch the beer they brew seasonally. Currently there is a coconut porter that is ok, but not as good as the macadamia one.
the kitchen was being remodeled on this day so we did not get to eat anything. They were only serving drinks until later in the day.
Restaurant wasn’t that crowded but got seated by a kids party. The main thing I go there for is the beer and garlic fries. The beer, as always, was great. The garlic fries really seemed to take a nosedive. To soggy.
Their wait staff was great. They found out we were at dinner to celebrate our new engagement and brought us a piece of cake. Everyone was very helpful, including the bar staff with beer recommendations.
We enjoyed a great happy hour cocktail in the bar area. Then moved to the dinning room for dinner. Happy hour is only in the bar area. It was enjoyable. We had a wide variety of food fish, burgers, chicken and tacos. Everyone liked it.
Great food, great location, great beer. This is our go-to restaurant for dining.
Nice happy hour. We had great new beer that was just released. There were also some nice Oktoberfest meals added to the regular menu. We love the French Dip Sliders and the chicken sandwich.
Good place for a quick lunch.
I've loved Gordon Biersch in the past, but I was very underwhelmed with the food. My husband and I both got burgers, both were just ok. He got a kale and quinoa salad as his side and it wasn't even dressed or anything, just flavorless. We also got the asian chicken bits for the appetizer and they were not worth the price. Just fried chicken covered in sauce, nothing special. I go their famous garlic parmesan fries, they were the shining star because of their flavor but also because of they're bottomless!
It took pretty long for our waiter to come to our table when we sat down and then after we ordered our drinks, which were just 2 waters, it took at least 10 minutes to receive them even though we could see him walking around the entire time and not really doing much. And i alsoo took a while for the refill as well, he came to my a few times while my cup was empty and before I got a chance to ask for more water, he already walked away, even though he probably should've noticed it himself.
Overall it was an OK meal, just thought it should be better based on preivous experience, the current reviews, and the nice area it is in.
My friends first time loved it and they are picky too. My husband and I really love it. Drinks food staff. 5 stars. A lot of our friends have never heard of it. We brag about the restaurant a lot so hoping word of mouth brings more patrons. We want GB around for years to come.
We like the happy hour options and nice food selections. My daughter had the wings for her meal which are her favorite. The French dip slider appetizer is excellent. Great burgers too.
GB is consistently "okay." We've never had a bad meal, we've never had a great meal either. We keep returning because their beer is very good and service is normally very friendly. But if you are looking for great food, keep walking.
On this visit the waitress was very good, very friendly. We shared salmon, brat sliders, and drinks. The salmon was ordinary and the sliders were fine. We wouldn't order either again. Beer was great as always.
The only thing we've ever eaten here that was bad is their lobster mac and cheese. every waiter recommends it, but it really is the worst thing on the menu. It's not even mac/cheese... it pasta with a greasy faintly cheese flavored sauce and the lobster is either not fresh or imitation.
Making a reservation does not guarantee you a table. We stared at empty tables over an hour. Beware
The chicken schnitzel was very good, although the lemon flavoring was a bit overdone.
Server was great and the apple crostada was delicious
They had our table ready before we arrived, which was really nice. The service was amazing, our server was very personable, helpful, accommodating, and attentive without being intrusive. The food was good, everyone liked what they ordered. There are not too many healthy choices, however. Those at our table who liked beer were really happy with the beer choices.
First, the wait staff was great - friendly and attentive. We got special treatment from the manager and will definitely go back. The food was a nice surprise. The appetizer great and while I expected Good on the beer and OK on the Fish and Chips, I got "Great" on both. a nice surprise. Oh yeah, they pointed out that special requests on a menu item was welcome.
Enjoyed our visit and service/food met expectations for a chain restaurant. Our server was great and the food came quickly and was good. A good go-to everyday dining spot for sure.
We took our daughter and her family here on their recent trip to Texas. First time having cheese curds and they were a hit at the table. We did have a hiccup with the cooking temp of a burger but the way the staff handled the situation was on point! More restaurants should take a lesson from them.
Not designed for parties of six or more. Wait staff was particularly slow this last visit. Great beer and value during happy hour
Open table allowed us to make a reservation for 10:15 for a restaurant that stopped cooking at 10:00. Either Gordon or open table are at fault. We were only given a menu of bar appetizers. They also allowed us to order a salad.
Had a fun evening. Service was a little slow, however it was a Saturday night Garlic fries - Amazing!!!
Great place for a business lunch. Lots of food choices and quick, professional service at lunchtime. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
