Great service and great food on a Saturday afternoon. What more can you ask for?
Food was good. Server was hard to track down even though the place was barely occupied at 1:30P. Server never came to ask how our food was and plopped the check down mid meal. Didn't ask if we needed anything, more to drink, dessert? She couldn't be bothered.
This place was great for a late dinner and drinks. Very affordable cocktails and the food was also reasonable. Not exactly great food, but not terrible either.
Good for my mom's bday! Server was nice but a little slow. We were a party of seven tho
The lobster and shrimp mac and cheese is a must! We had delicious food and wonderful service. Everyone in our group was able to find something they liked on the menu.
Impressive menu & excellent food. But not enough to overcome a chaotic, impersonal greeting from the front desk staff.
The Czech beer was awesome, I recently visited the Czech Republic and the beer was damn near identical!!!!! Definitely coming back.....
Gordon Biersch has always been a favorite of mine. It's a great place to have a late evening dinner with friends on the patio, (weather permitting). I've also enjoyed many lunches here for a quick bite to eat and they have a great beer selection. Definitely recommend this place to anyone for almost any occasion.
Our server was excellent, she made menu recommendations, gave my husband beer tasters and provided the perfect pace for our dining experience with friends.
I have dined here for lunch several times with clients. Service has been good -- not great. Yesterday's experience was terrible. Service was extremely poor. I should have complained to the manager, but didn't want to make a scene with clients. Will not return for lunch.
The Maui Maui was dry and the brownie was hard as a rock. Service was very friendly but rather slow.

Everything about the meal was fine but their reservation system was down, and had no idea my group of 9 at Noon on a Sunday was coming. Thankfully they had ample space, but this was my grooms brunch before my wedding. Had they not been ready to seat us this would have really caused me problems. In the future if their system is down, there should be a way for Open table to either let me know I may need to change plans, or at least give me a heads up.
They did not have my reservation when I arrived. Very disappointed. They then seated us at the back of an empty restaurant and we ordered apps, four entrees and two rounds of beer. It took us two and a half hours to be served by one waiter waiting on one table. It was bizarre and uncomfortable.
I was very sad that this was a special occasion for our table of 4 and the service was disappointing. Our server didn't seem thrilled to be there. We ordered an appetizer and entrees together. We had a coupon for a free appetizer. The entrees came out first. Our server didn't even notice the appetizer was missing. We mentioned it to two people and all we got was a "I'll check on that" but no one came back. 1/2 way through our meal, the appetizer was delivered and we were told it would be free. That's the part that stinks... it was going to be free anyway with our coupon. We didn't 'get' anything for the incident. The server just wasn't attentive. It was a lack luster evening overshadowed by a billing issue. The one in Plano has much better service!!!
As residents of the Austin area (where GB stunningly has yet to place a location), we always try to stop by a location whenever we have the chance. This one was surprisingly empty early on a Saturday night, which made the noise level perfect for conversation with the friends we were visiting. Food was delicious, and the locally brewed beer was exceptional. Our server did a great job of ensuring we had what we needed without hovering as some do.
First time. Enjoyed the salmon and salad. Willing to prepare as requested. Will come back.
Great spot, outdoor seating was awesome and included live music. Had the veggie burger and girlfriend had fish tacos and we loved both. Excellent desserts and beer list. Definitely will be back.

Nice building, hostess statin helpful and pleasant. Waiter acted bored and never smiled. Service was OK but not exceptional. Had a hamburger that was unremarkable and dry. Others had snapper, chicken.
For the price, I expected more.
Never ate as we left once the loud music started. Not what we expected.
Every time we are here, we try something different, this time we had the seafood cobb salad and the citrus salmon. Both were excellent !
They were out of coconut rum though :(
They were very accommodating and quick to seat and serve guests with our party. Our server knew the menu inside-out and was able to make really good recommendations to those who have never experienced the restaurant before. Overall, it was a good experience for everyone.
A nice American Pub style restaurant with an extensive menu and dishes that are well executed. The value is good, but the service is excellent.
Chicken Schnitzel is outstanding.
The garlic fries are probably the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. Since dining, I have told everyone to go get them. We ordered one order and even before finishing had to order another one. The happy hour prices and specials were great a well!
I brought my wife last week front-end anniversary. We started with the muscles as an appetizer and they did not disappoint. For our entrees I had the sirloin steak and she had the ribeye, both delicious and cooked to perfection! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Also there was no sticker shock when the bill was dropped.
our server, Holly, was attentive and engaging. we enjoyed her personality and her service.
the cab we had was very good and food was excellent , as usual.
We met friends here who said we could wear shorts! Yay! We loved the food selection- something for everyone. Three of us ordered the juiciest hamburgers with blue cheese, while the fourth had a fresh, tenderloin and mixed greens salad. The beer was great,moo--I had the IPA, the guys had the house bee and my friend's wife enjoyed a champagne monitor. We four split a delicious chocolate cake with ice cream. Wonderful, fun experience overall. We will be returning with more friends! K
For a Saturday evening, service was very slow. I was told a couple now shows. Long wait for getting a drink. Otherwise, food was excellent. The menu and kitchen has improved.
the waitress (I don't remember her name) said "my lunch was on her". so I am guessing between my coupon and my points I almost had enough for a free meal, thank you for wonderful meal.
We have been to Gordon Biersch many times in the past but had not been in the last 6 months or so. Our family from out of the country was in town so we thought this would be a great place to take them for an evening out. We ordered 7 fish entrees including tuna and salmon. Not 1 or 2 but all dinners were overcooked leaving the fish dry and tasteless. We were not expecting giant portions for the fish but they were less than average at best. The menu and food quality has definitely changed since the restaurant first opened.
We did notice that for a Saturday evening at 8:00 pm the restaurant was not near as busy as in previous visits. The service was very good and all personnel were nice but because of the menu and food preparation it will be hard to recommend in the future. Too bad as it was a very nice place to meet friends and eat enjoyable food for the money.
Good food but nothing special. I would not go out of the way to eat here again. However, if I were in the area I would certainly not rule it out. Food was good and the prices were a bit much. However, everything in this area of Dallas is overpriced.
Menu is hard to read in flip board still, and the offering has considerably been reduced. Since the menu has changed and the presentation, quality has gone downhill in a very fast way.
The only person with some service experience was the manager. Very top notch! Beside the wrong order and lack of attendance, I most likely will have to change the venue.
This place was okay, nothing special. It would be fine for a quick bite after shopping. The service was slow and they really push their loyalty club. Not worth seeking out for any occasion.
My wife and I had an excellent Valentine's Day dinner at this restaurant. It was fairly quiet and the food was quite good. I would definitely recommend it. The only issue we had was that we originally sat outside and after coming back with our drink order our server forgot about that. After waiting about 10 minutes we moved inside and were seated at a table. The staff and management apologized profusely and the manager even comped our first round of drinks. I don't fault them for making mistakes we all do, but they handled it very professionally which I appreciate. I would not hesitate to dine there again or recommend it to friends and family.
I truly expected more from a place that had such an extensive menu and touted itself as one of the best micro breweries in Dallas.
I had never been to GB's, so the wife and I decided to give it a try for dinner. It was Valentine's Day and they were running a special menu. Ultimately, we ended up going with the Valentine's Day fare so we could sample what we thought was a good cross section of their food.
From the steak that tasted like it was fired over a grill that had never been cleaned to the shrimp that was chewed like a spare tire to the waiter who never checked on us after we got our food, this experience was lack luster at best.
The micro brewery was their only saving grace, but that's only going to appeal to someone who is looking for an exotic beer, unlike my wife who can't stand the stuff.
Needless to say, GB's is off the list!
Too bad
Took my sisters here for a Christmas dinner celebration. Dinner was delicious. My sisters are very picky eaters and they went out of there comfort zone and tried new food items. They loved it. It was delicious. Thank You for the experience. :)
