Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant - Broomfield (Denver)

The Ahi salad was a plateful of mixed greens, nicely sliced ahi around half the edge, and a hunt & peck for the occasional carrot sliver, half cherry tomato or cube of avocado throughout the greens. My partner enjoyed his caesar salad with shrimp that looked more appetizing.
We visit Gordon Biersch on a regular basis. We often bring friends. Good is good and service is great.
My one comment would be a request for more vegetarian items. Right now, not a single appetizer is vegetarian. The only veg meal is flatbread. Since I cannot eat meat or fish for health reasons, would like at least one more choice. Most places have an appetizer without meat, then I can get a house salad too and I am set. Please consider this.
Great variety of great food!
Very disappointed! Poor service, items on menu not available, and 40 minute wait for food. Manager didn't come over to apologize nor discount food. Will not return.
The atmosphere is very nice for a brewery. The food was good, but I feel it was not great with the exception of the garlic fries! DELICIOUS! I had the sirloin and it was a little chewy. The mashed potatoes were good and the side salad was enormous! My husband's order came our wrong and our server Emily took full responsibility for that. She was very good and attentive!
Gordon Biersch is a reliable restaurant for us, we visit often when we have friends and family in town and need a table for 6 to 12 people. The service is usually very good, and the food is a great value. We’ve honestly never had a bad meal here.
We sat outside on a Saturday afternoon. Service & food were very good. No disappointments, basically what we expected.
Fantastic! I am so glad Bonefish Grill wasn't taking tables on Mothers' Day because we have a new favorite restaurant! We were all so impressed, even my two teenagers. I have a feeling that we will now be regular patrons.
Steak was small and way over cooked. Was redone and cooked better. Shrimp in tacos were like rubber bands. The apple cresrada was tiny for the price. Would eat there again but only for burgers and the great garlic fries.
Good experience, happy with the food and service. Glad we made a reservation ahead of time.
Good solid but average meal and service.
Wonderful food and good selection on the menu.
The server rushed us through. We didn't get all our food, but we were full with what we did get. Would've been nice, as a date night with no kids, to be able to sit and enjoy our food. But we got one thing on top of another and our bill before we had finished our meal. It was very disappointing.
Excellent beer variety, high quality food, minor issues with order accuracy and staff training double team. Overall, a very nice after work beers and appetizer experience.
We've eaten at GB a few times, but the food quality has really gone downhill. The Gorgonzola Ribeye was very thin and tough. The burgers were underdone, one of them was so underdone it looked raw (we asked for medium). The mushroom spaetzle was dry and flavorless.
GB still has decent appetizers and beer, but I won't recommend them for dinner anymore.
Food was terrible! My cheese was not melted in my sandwich, my French fries were cold my sons lobster man & cheese was burnt. Worst meal I have had their and plan on not returning!
The Gorgonzola Ribeye is one of the best tasting chunks of Beast in 5th town!
Great food, good beer. Pretty noisy but it is a brew pub after all.
Food was delicious and service was great!
Food is good, beer is better. Worth a go...
Kitchen was very slow
Service was terrible, food was cold and portions small.
Awesome place for Lunch meeting where I can invite my clients.
Been coming here since 2007. Updating this review as their tossing our boxed up food after we left only 4 minutes earlier and realized we forgot it and came right back in. They chose to ignore that was annoying for us when we found out they threw it away and then ignored the email I sent almost 3 weeks ago has left us feeling that they don't care. (a birthday dinner that we had a lot of leftovers to take home) We enjoyed going there but won't be back because I'm annoyed. They'll be fine though, they can rely on mall shoppers and movie goers stopping in and ignore people who repeated their business. Read how dismissive they are to concerns, when they bother to write back on Yelp and other sites.
Went for birthday dinner and was hoping for a great dinner, but was sadly disappointed. Ordered the fish and chips and my first bite was into a cold, raw piece of fish, not cooked. My wife ordered the tuna steak and was also disappointed cool temperature of the tuna and frozen green beans on the side. Two big mistakes on one order. Our server was quick to take back both dishes and the let the manager know. On the return of the meals, my fish was cooked, but instead of chips/fries, it came back with potent garlic fries which overwhelmed the entire dish which I didn't eat. My wife's meal was much better. The manager, was nice enough to give us a free meal the next time we come back, but the poor meals we got will make it hard to come back even for a free meal. Just disappointed.
4 of us and we were all very pleased with food and service.
Well this is the only one in Colorado so you have to experience it. Yet they are not well equip for large groups or ethnic groups if you get my drift.
Always enjoy our time here. Good service, beer and selection of food.
The food was good and our server, Thomas, was the best server we’ve had in a while! He was constantly moving, we could see him helping other servers, and he was always there when we needed him. We’ll be back!
One thing I’d change if I could- my steak salad was swimming in dressing. I should’ve asked for it on the side. That being said, steak was cooked just as I liked and I thought the salad toppings were in perfect ratio to spinach.
And my husband loved his steak and potatoes.
Never disappointed eating here. Always enjoy the food, beer and drinks.
GB brewery is a great spot. We sat outside. It was quiet. Cindy was our waitperson and she was great. Only had to wait a few minutes between requests. The beer was outstanding and the food was great.
It was great until I got the email from you that they did not connect our reservation with you and said we were no shows
We have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed it. However, the service this time was dreadfully slow. One of the orders had the wrong side dish, another was missing a side dish and she had to be asked twice about a drink order that was supposedly coming. It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was slow. The beer, however, was great as always, however.
We and our friends really like this brew pub. They have great beers and a variety of items on their menu. The staff is always friendly and cheerful.
Last time we were here we were told there were big wigs overseeing the food and our service would be slightly delayed. On that occasion or food was slow in coming out but it was very good.
This time without having that additional oversight the food was only so-so. And they ordered the same thing. The service was about the same slowness as when there was additional oversight which didn’t make sense to my group.
Overall I think there is a lot of room for improvement.
The service was a little slow although friendly and knowledgeable. I think they just needed another server on duty. The two waitresses serving the outdoor seating were too busy to be truly attentive.
We tried several different beers and they were well crafted. Very tasty. I recommend going for the beer alone.
This place has really gone downhill since it's first opening. Service was so-so. Apparently animals are allowed on the patio while people are dining. It was pretty dirty with trash on the ground and tables. While the food was decent, we don't plan to return.
Was really crowded but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back!
I will never understand why restaurants bolt their booth tables to the wall and or floor. This makes most people have to sit on the edge to eat with no back support or large people to have to squeeze in uncomfortably. To mitigate this, next time I will ask for a table. Also, while I had put this was for a Birthday when making reservations, neither the hostess nor the server acknowledged it, and I never saw a manager on the floor at any time. However, the best part is their unique beers and extensive shareable/appetizer list; the brat sliders and won ton nachos were delicious. The worst part, as is evident by the different star ratings, is the price. $7.50 for a ramekin of cheese curds is beyond steep. However, if money is not a concern, then I highly recommend this place.
Good food and excellent service!
