   Another great meal at this wonderful Wells restaurant. everything was just superb with such well cooked and presented food. service was excellent. we have eaten here every time we visit Somerset and have never been disappointed We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great quality food. 10/10

   I took my partner here for his birthday and we couldn't have asked for more. The food was amazing and the service was great. Very good value for money!

   The food is fantastic as was the service. The decor and lighting could do with a refurb as it didn’t really reflect the quality of the menu or service. I would definitely recommend it purely for the food but don’t expect t too much of what’s around you..

   Excellent food, beautifully cooked - the tasting menu as with all tasting menus presented small portions of very delicious food and some people would expect larger portions but we enjoy eating smaller morsels and there were plenty of them. The wine flight was an education even for someone like me who has much experience with wine and was delighted that the Sommelier was so knowledgeable. The staff were very attentive and had made a note of all our requests and preferences. Chef / owner was very generous with his time and spoke at length, enthusiastically about the restaurant. All in all a very enjoyable first experience of dining in Wells.

   We have eaten here on several occasions over the years and always enjoyed the excellent food and service. The menu is short but exudes a very varied choice to suit all tastes. we both enjoyed scallops cooked and presented in an oriental style followed by chicken for my wife and Sea trout for me.Both were beautifully cooked and the accompanying vegetables were just right. The wine, the food and service were just brilliant. Highly recommended.
