Goode Co. Seafood - Westpark
Goode Co. Seafood in Westpark, Texas, has quite a bit going for it that helps to make it a top restaurant to enjoy in the area around Houston. The restaurant is located in a railcar, and it features an original Wurlitzer, so it offers a truly unique dining experience.
When it comes to the menu, Goode Co. Seafood has plenty to offer. Try the boneless chicken breast, rainbow trout, Gulf shrimp and catfish options. Those who are looking for fresh seafood will find just what they need right here. For dessert, indulge in the red-hot red velvet cake, old-fashioned ice cream sundae, banana cream pie or triple chocolate layer cake.
Some of the best seafood in Houston. I think I had shrimp 5 different ways - cocktail, etoufee, fried, seafood rice, and empanada. Each was outstanding! Quality wine list at a reasonable price, as well.
When EVER I need seafood, this is the only place. That includes when I just get back from the Caribbean.
Went here with four friends and had an excellent meal. All were very happy with their choices. Our waitress was excellent. We told her we were not on any hurry and she let us relax and enjoy the meal. Definitely will come back soon.
The food and wait staff were wonderful. It was really noisy when we ordered our drinks but the hostess graciously let us move tables. The red snapper special was amazing.
We have been here multiple times and have noticed a decline in the quality of food over the past year or so. The food (everyone at the table) lacked flavor. The price is exceptionally high for such low end quality of food. We won't be going back.
Delicious trout with almonds. Mostly, enjoyed the food but, noted that the oysters on the half shell were on the small side.
The value during HRW was worth the drive out to Westpark and Kirby from Clear Lake. Great food!!
I love this place. High end food and quality without the uppity atmosphere. Great, attentive service, and their happy hour specials are a must. Love this little gem!
Food was amazing and great
As usual, service and entrees were excellent. Goode Company never lets us down..
This is one of my favorite restaurants.. I’ve had happy hour appetizers and drinks as well as lunch and dinner over the years. The campechana is the absolute best. I shared the San Antonio red snapper and it was delicious and more than enough food for 2. It was a great birthday celebration for a friend! Go and enjoy. Wait staff are wonderful as well😉
The waiter was attentive and friendly and everyone appreciated her. Everyone in the group enjoyed the food and thought it was very good. The noise level was a little loud especially considering the floors were not stone or tile.
Food , Service was good - Noise level was off the comfort scale - could not hear what our guests were saying
This is easy-breezy. We absolutely love dining at Goode Company Seafood Westpark! We have been coming for years. I cannot recall a bad meal or service...ever!
As a matter of fact, it's the family's Father's Day destination each year! My husband and grandkids love the Campechana!
Keep up the great cooking and marvelous service!
(We also love Goode Company Bbq. It's the only place where we eat at the rodeo).
I came there for the whole catfish and was disappointed to find that they no longer serve it. It is somewhat pricey.
Good stuffed crab and sides. Recommend. Noise level pretty high so difficult to have conversation. Easy access off Kirby
Delicious food, incredible service, definitely worth the cost!
Always a great meal!
Best sea food in town! Tx Gulf Coast style from the good old days!
Garrett was our server on Wednesday, On Thursday we went to Katy location. I forgot that server's name, but he was also very good, but Garrett stands out.
Funky place but foods’s always good and great service. Fresh flounder and shrimp yummy!!
This is a great neighborhood seafood restaurant. They have happy hour drinks and great appetizers every day... we always get a Campuchana or 2....my favorite!
Colin did a great job and coordinated meals perfectly for us.
Great Happy Hour drinks and snacks, only thing is you have to sit in the bar. Nice bar area though. Great oysters and french fries.
The best seafood in town! Crab cakes are excellent.
Everything was excellent! I bring my wife to dinner here whenever we are in Houston.
Was charged for a catfish fillet dinner we did not have or order
Always great food.
Amazing Service, food and drinks. I highly recommend this location. We have been going here for years.
The food was good, and the shrimp gumbo was delicious. Most importantly, the service was excellent.
Thomas is an asset for U. He got us some minor things we requested with a smile.
Enjoyed daughter's birthday celebration at Goode Company. We had a 5:00pm reservation, and were seated right away. Fun dining experience!
Great food great service.
The food was as good a seafood meal as I've had. Our waitress was attentive, smart, polite, friendly and excellent. Christian, the manager, was personable and welcoming. A tremendous dining experience I'd recommend to any seafood lover.
Fresh Excellent Fish. Sweet Mint Julip with Lemon called Wiskey Mash
Food was good especially the campechana. They must have a new wine menu as a couple of request were no longer available so would recommend updating ASAP!
Great food and nice staff. Love their campechana - everything is always so fresh and am never disappointed
Food is great and consistent. Service was not bad but we had an inconvenience: We made a reservation for 5:0o p.m. on a Friday to take advantage of / enjoy the happy hour but when we were sat at a table they said that in order to have the happy hour menu and prices, we needed to be at the bar or the little tables in the bar area. Nowhere in the website this rule is described or during the reservation process. We moved and still enjoyed our dinner but this is the first time a restaurant forces me to sit at the bar to have happy hour menu or prices. I could understand this if the restaurant was full on regular tables and needed people to move to the bar area but I checked at 6:00 p.m. just out of curiosity and the restaurant was roughly half full. This rule makes no sense to me and I would honestly reconsider it if I was the owner or manager of this place as it is an unnecessary annoyance.
