Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina - Memorial
Sunup through sundown, help yourself to menus teeming with authentic Mexican plates and smoky South Texas staples, garden-crisp salads and wood-fired seafood dishes that deftly fuse the bold flavors of Texas, Mexico and Gulf Coast cooking. A few margaritas on the patio and you’ve found your new casa.
Best guacamole and grilled fish tacos in Houston. Took some out of town guests and they thoroughly enjoyed.
Great service and the food was wonderful. Atmosphere is nice but it is definitely a noisy place to eat!
Friendly staff. Good food.
Food was very mediocre, however, the server was very nice!
We tried the Jalapeño Renos for a starter. If you like chorizo and spicy goodness you will fall in love. We also had several Grapefruit Frescas that were very thirst quenching.
We spoilt the Verde chicken enchiladas and some fresh guacamole with blue crab meat. Both were great.
Do yourself a favor and stop by the Cantina for some of the best food in town.
Excellent food and service
Our reservation was at 11am and they did not seat us until 11:45am.
Food was very good.
The food came out of the kitchen cool not hot at all. Expected more from Goode Co.
Great food, excellent service and outstanding margaritas.
The food was exceptional, much better than our initial visit.
Birthday dinner for 6 plus a baby. We were accommodated perfectly. Great food and service as always.
Great food! Chicken tortilla soup is the best out there. Consistently outstanding service, recommend reservations because
It gets busy.
Normally this a great restaurant. We frequent it often, but this night the service was way off.
Been to this restaurant several times before and enjoyed it, however, on this occasion we were disappointed.
The service from the waiter and kitchen was not very good and we had to remind waiter about our appetizer after about 20 mins when he asked if we would like anything? The main meals from kitchen also arrived partially plated and once my husband questioned the server, he went back to the kitchen for the remaining sides - the service was also slow.
The food and drinks tasted good but it was a noisy atmosphere and difficult to chat/hear our friends.
For the cost of this meal on this occasion, we were disappointed.
Very accommodating with the large party! The food is out of this world! Never disappoints! Our waiter was the BEST!
Crab Enchiladas are to die for and the Beef Fajitas are THE BEST IN HOUSTON!!
This was my second time. Food great, waiter good but maybe he was new...as he made several mistakes on our orders and had to make several trips.
Place setting for two (there were three of us)
Asked for no salt on margarita - salt added.
There were other things, but related to the others and I can't remember. Had to ask for things that are normally brought if you are an observant waiter. We are easy going patrons, and only pointing this out for customers who aren't as easy going. :). Love this place. Wish there was one near me part of town. (Pearland)
I love the variety on the menu. Many options beyond Tex-Mex.
Order was incorrect , informed the waiter , said he’d have it corrected , never brought the original order . Actually did not see our waiter again until I asked for our bill.
Several items were poor quality. Plates with one piece of beef fajita meat in tacos and was primarily fat. Restaurant replaced the tacos quickly, but meat was undercooked and had to replace for a third time. Chicken fajitas served cold.
While the restaurant handled our concerns, it was a very disappointing experience, especially as we had out of town guests with us.
Excellent service and delicious food. One of our favorite places.
Excellent breakfast! Especially after a night of dancing. The service was great, atmosphere cute, and the strawberry margarita was banging!
The awful music only adds to the overall noise level. It's a Mexican restaurant; play Mexican music!
Food is not same level as when it opened. Needs to be served hot.
Waited for 30 minutes after our reservation time. Manager said he’d make it up to us but never came back to our table. Server and food was excellent, as always.
We love this restaurant in Spring Branch. While Tex-mex dishes on the menu, there are other authentic Mexican dishes. Reservations are recommended!
Great Tex Mex. Always good when it comes out hot. Very authentic for Native Texans.
our server was very attentive.
The menu showed incredible variety, the flavors were delicious, portions are enough to share.
Carnitas still the best in town - try the Snapper if you hadn't already!
Great food, but parking can be tough. Get theee early for lunch or come after the rush.
Has become our new favorite Mexican haunt. Mesquite meets Mexcian food!
Love this place. Has the best 1836 salad. The chips and salsa are the best I’ve ever eaten.
Love Cantina! Best food & love the outdoor space for kids!
Great food - enjoyed
Good Mexican style food. Very similar other Tax Mex restaurants in the area but at a premium price. Very loud in main dining area, so have to shout to your friends.
I really enjoy Goode Company Kitchen and Cantina. We have been here many times. Something was different when we dined this time. Our food was not very warm, the rocks margarita tasted like tequila and lime juice, and it took several attempts to get our order right. It is usually amazing and delicious, but something must have been off this evening. I’ll definitely be back, but was disappointed this time. I’m glad it wasn’t my first time trying the restaurant.
had dinner on a Thursday night. food was good. portions are small. quality is good.
Eaten here 4 times. Waiter has seemed to be new 3 out of the 4 times. Didn’t get order correct. But was quickly corrected. Still I return. Food is great.
Server was a little odd and off putting. My tea glass needed to be refilled but I had a hard time finding the guy. The decor is cute but the waiter could have been better.
Everything about this place is amazing. The atmosphere was nice and clam. The decor embodied the cantina feel. Then came the food. It’s was delicious. My husband ordered carnitas and I got the classic cheese enchiladas. Those enchiladas were the closest to my grandmothers that I have found. We will see be having more date nights at this spot.
High end Tex-Mex
