Offering a contemporary American menu of casual dishes crafted to work with the seasons, in a warm, stylish setting.
They say our name is an understatement. But it's still GOOD.
We offer a moderately priced menu in a casual, stylish setting. In the heart of New York's West Village neighborhood, our comfortable dining room & friendly staff provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Our Dinner and Lunch menus offer a well-rounded selection of dishes that are familiar but with a modern twist.
Our innovative American Brunch keeps us busy every weekend year-round & has become a weekly staple for many.
And our cocktails utilize the same fresh, seasonal ingredients found throughout all our menus.
We look forward to having you join us.
First time at this location. Unfortunately the last as the restaurant has closed! Found out the landlord forced the closing after some 19 years of operation by requiring an exorbitant rent/lease payment. Seems to be happening to too many "Good" places.
Wonderful restaurant. So glad we got to to go one last time. So sad we will be losing this Village gem
Best neighborhood restaurant EVER!!! So sad that it's closing!
Good has been one of our neighborhood standbys for years, and it's a terrible shame that it's closing. We were just able to squeeze in one more lovely candlelit dinner before the final brunch.
Crushed that this restuarant is closing this week. The end of an era!
Why must the landlords insist on raising the rent so high that this place can't afford to stay put ?
Since 1980 they've been in business and one of the few places in the Village where you can have a conversation without yelling AND the food really is good, not to mention the friendly and helpful staff.
Sorry for the run on sentence.
One of the best restaurants in the village. Consistent quality great food wonderful environment. Too bad it's closing on May 14. We will greatly miss our dear friend GOOD
It is irrelevant how good "Good" is (it is VERY VERY good) because it is closing in days, because of the typical greed of NYC landlords, who prefer the on-paper enhancement of the value of their property through the raising of rents, to providing spaces for businesses (and PEOPLE) to thrive in and pay reasonable rents that would still provide an income though that's not the same as a property value on paper, notably I suppose if that "paper" were to be a document of sale. Another real-estate bubble blowing out and ultimately up, perhaps. Not how Human Beings LIVE...
One of our favorite restaurants! It is always our go-to place so we are heartbroken that it is closing on Greenwich Avenue after so many years. We only hope it will reopen soon in a new location.
I adore this restaurant and it's my fave in lower Manhattan. I'm so sad to see it go. It's a big loss and terrible news. Their food is delicious and exquisite.
BEST PLACE- AMAZING FOOD
I WILL MISS YOU
GREEN CHILI MAC AND CHEESE IS NOT TO BE MISSED
We had brunch for my birthday with our grown kids and young grandson. Our waiter could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We enjoyed our various egg dishes and lemon ricotta pancakes very much, but were disappointed in the cheddar jalapeño grits which were blandly soft and mushy rather than gritty and cheesy. We live in the neighborhood, and will definitely return to try out the dinner menu.
The service was stellar, and food and drinks were delicious and generous. Good was the best restaurant my husband and I have visited in years. We will definitely return!
I love coming here for brunch! I always get the good breakfast combination plate and the espresso martinis! Yum!
An oasis for quite dining in an attractive setting with creative food creations all blending together to make a very fine dining experience
Consistently a great neighborhood place...a favorite for sure!
One of my favorites!! Thanks again for Good food!
We have been here 5 or 6 times now and each time it's been wonderful - great food and great staff - and well priced
Service had a bad night at Good. 2 tables seated after us were served, waiter said sorry for the delay, kitchen was slammed. A third table seated after us was served, I went to the host, he said we were next, guests served earlier had all ordered entrees that took less time. Would have preferred an honest assessment. Took 1 1/2 hours to prepare burger, chicken, and fish tacos.
Good is always good. A wonderful neighborhood restaurant, very pleasant staff. Noice level is very low, making it a perfect restaurant where you can talk with your friends without screaming.
One of our favorite West Village Restaurants. Consistently excellent food and very friendly service. When we need to get out quickly for a show they are great, when we want to linger, they are equally accommodating.
Food was good but not unique. Staff was friendly. Noisy on a Friday night. Lots of large groups when we visited.
One of my favorite places in the city. The green chili mac and cheese is the best.
One of my favorite restaurants. Always delicious.
Service was not up to snuff tonight. Long wait for appetizers, no fresh pepper offered for salad.
Good food great service!
A fun place to eat - good music playing tonight as well
Delicious breakfast!! Lemon ricotta pancakes A++
I love Good! One of my family's favorite spots!! The early supper can't be beat! And they have a great happy hour. Best Manhattan in the city
Great service and good variety of food!! Cocktail menu also great variety!!
The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Our food was served quickly but they let us take our time eating to just sit and chat. The food was reasonably priced, I thought I got a good amount of food for what I paid.
Always a great brunch spot. Love the get it all deal and their cocktail menu!
always a great time at Good - wonderful good staff who do an amazing job
A neighborhood gem. I only come here for weekend brunch, so I cannot speak on the other meals. My friends and I enjoyed the cocktails, fresh dining experience and the relaxed atmosphere. We didn't feel rushed. My favorite thing on the menu is the lemon ricotta pancakes, so yummy. The only disappointment was that they ran out of Geechie boy grits. Other than that, it was fantastic.
I have been coming to this restaurant for many months and it always has excellent food. Notably, their Brussel sprout side dish is phenomenal!
