Good Measure brings a refreshingly rebellious spirit to the edge of River North. Located just beneath the Chicago Brown Line stop, this retro dive is the place you've always looked for but could rarely find: A bar with amazing food, music, cocktails, and most importantly, an inviting atmosphere.

Housed in what was once a turn of the century tailor shop, Good Measure pays tribute to the building's history, combining precision and craft. Design firm Siren Betty draws inspiration from the eras of Rockabilly and American Punk with classic checkered floors, vintage art, red neon, and studded leather barstools. In a soundscape made up of Naked Raygun, Fugazi, and Bad Religion (just a few of our favorites), partners Sophia de Oliveira and Chef Matt Troost will ply you with classic cocktails and cult-inducing dishes.

It was amazing, and very romantic but casual for the 1st time. The staff was very nice from the front door and food was excellent for a smaller location. I would def recommend to anyone and will be back.

Bolognese fries...how I have missed you. Excellent service. Good drink choice. Simple menu, but well executed. Wish the biscuits were just a bit bigger because they are delicious. The highball machine was a welcome surprise.

Would be a great spot to grab a drink with friends, but the food was also fantastic!! Even the kale salad was a hit. Can’t wait to come back!

It really depends on what you are going for. This is a bar with food that would be decent on a night out drinking. Not if you are looking for a restaurant with great food. Food was decent but nothing I would go back for. And I left with a bill that was just as high as nicer restaurants with better food.
