    It was our first time there and the the atmosphere and service was great! Food and drinks were great! They even showed us the karaoke room. The music choice was a little out of place, I was expecting more Japanese hip-hop and or Phonk vibe, but they played lots of hits so it seemed a little off. The music was also a little too loud for how little people there were at that time. My husband said the mens room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a few days too. But other then that, the experience was great and we will definitely be back for karaoke and more night life.

    I'd heard a lot of buzz and not many places are open on Monday so we grabbed a res and excitedly scanned the menu. It was hard to decide but we got an assortment of small plates, a couple cocktails and finished with a carafe of the house sake. It was the absolute perfect date night from start to finish. Highly recommend the Liquid Swords and the Crane Kick.

    Great surroundings, lots of drink options. Liquid swords was out of this world. I wanna shout out audrey or aubrey who was our waitress. She was awesome. Food was great and loved the sushi

    The service was great. Good server, very quick and friendly. The ambience is unique and fits on st Pete theme. I do not think it is a good for a good dinner dining place. Very loud. It was very hard to communicate with people. Good night out place if you want to grab some tapas and drinks.

    I requested to sit next to a photogenic area and my request was not considered.. why ask if any accommodations?? Waiting was so slow and they weren’t that busy . The place is beautiful and food was amazing .

    Love good Fortune! The food is always great! Our server was great but they had a staff meeting during our visit so we didn’t have service for 15 minutes but other than that everything was great.

    This place is phenomenal, the food is delicious , the staff is very attentive, the ambience is great and prices are reasonable . This is my favorite place for brunch or for a fun evening . I had my birthday brunch and Mother’s Day brunch there and it was a fantastic experience….definitely I highly recommend it

    I was really excited to visit this place due to being super cute and my hopes was shut down. First we had reservations for 7:30pm we arrived on time and the hostess told my boyfriend that we needed to wait 15 more minutes because our table was not ready that they will text us. At 7:50pm I check in again because I didn’t received no text and she told us to please give her 10 to 15 more minutes because the kitchen is behind. At 8:05 I seen a white couple come in and they was seated before us. I immediately ask the host why they were seated before us and she told me that “the manager has gave her permission to start seating people again.” I told her that if she forgot we was waiting and that because we was standing for over 30 minutes and my boyfriend has a brace in his leg if she did not seen that. The hostess immediately gave us a lame excuse after I called her out and said ohh look another table open and took us to our table. Let me tell you there was more than 3 seating space open next to our table and we didn’t see anyone leave. Our waiter was really nice and she made up for that nasty hostess treatment. Hope they do better. Overall place has a really nice ambiance and the food was good.

    This is the 3rd time we’ve been to Good Fortune. The food is delicious and the service is great. There were multiple empty tables with tons of people congregating around the bar. The noise level at the beginning wasn’t too bad, meaning you could actually hear each other speak. During our appetizers the music volume was noticeably increased and was so loud we couldn’t hear each other sitting right next to each other. I’m all for good music and the vibe, but if I can’t hear someone right next to me the volume is way too loud. It’s not a rave or even a bar, it’s a restaurant. If it weren’t for the noise I would’ve given 5 ⭐️.

    We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. We ordered a variety of small plates, each was lovely but the standout was hands down the crab rangoon. I’m not even a crab rangoon person and it was incredibly. We legit ordered it again during the same meal.

    Loved this spot! Was more party oriented that I thought, I went to meet a friend and had some difficulties hearing conversations. But that’s ok, we still had a great time and loved our food. We will come back before we go out one night!

    Had my second visit here since I'm in town and it didn't disappoint again! My server (so sorry I forgot his name) was super polite and attentive, and the food was delicious. They also brought out two hot / wet napkins to clean your hands from the sticky nacho sauce. Tiger King roll - this roll is HUGE. It's also delicious and filling. 9/10 Salmon nachos - Crispy wontons topped with avocado and salmon. The sauce wasn't my favorite but it was still tasty! 7/10 Butter cake - served with two large scoops of vanilla ice cream 8/10

    Excellent creative sushi options and a diverse array of Japanese and Asian fusion inspired dishes distinguish their menu. If you like bold flavors, their fare will be appealing to you. Highlights: Sakura Spritz, if you like floral tastes in your drinks, this refreshing sparkling cocktail is a must! Love the rich Dan Dan noodles .

    Was expecting more from Good Fortune. The atmosphere was more akin to a nightclub than a restaurant - which I understand may be appealing to some. But I struggled to hear my girlfriend talk from just a few feet away and that did not enhance the experience. The cocktails were good, but I was most disappointed by the small plates. An Asian restaurant should be able to nail something like a spicy tuna and fried rice cake, but here they were under par for the price and that was shared across all but one of the small plates we got.

    Good Fortune has a cool, hip vibe, however, that’s about it. After being seated promptly, two others table next to us were also seated. They both were served, by different waitresses, before us. We waited patiently for 20 minutes, even tried to get anyone’s attention, to no avail. Finally, got up and found a manager. Basically, we never got assigned a waitress. Curious how none of the other waitresses cared to even ask us if we had been waited on. Finally, we ordered and the food was average. We ordered the edamame (sauce a little too sweet) but descent. We tried to order crab Rangoon, but they were out (how does an Asian restaurant run out?). We split the Cash sushi roll and was fine. Nothing blew us away, so we’re going to stay away next time.

    Food was great and atmosphere but they really need to work on their service. The wait staff did not talk to each other, very unorganized, no one knew who 'had our table' when we 1st got there. When we need our waiter or to pay our bill, we h ad to get up to find him. Then the manager (who didn't even know his waiter's name, had to ask him) gave us our 1st round of drinks for free (which was a nice gesture) but the waiter still didn't take it off the bill and we had to tell him again. I think for such a cool place and great food, this is one thing they could work on. With all that being said, I would still go back and recommend to friends. :-)

    I really enjoy Good Fortune, but honestly, every time I'm there, something I order is out of stock. This time it was the tofu AND the falafel, last time it was the boba and coconut milk, and the time before it was the seabass. However, the service is always incredible. I really wish they did brunch on Saturdays, or that they actually put their Brunch hours somewhere so I didn't just show up expecting brunch to find out its only Sunday 😂. Anyway, I recommend the drunken noodle, the bulgogi bowl (with tofu if youre veg), the sunshine city roll (so refreshing!), and tempura shrimp & shishito peppers.

    We were shocked to find a relatively empty restaurant mid lunchtime in downtown St Pete. My first thought was oh no, I made a mistake choosing Good Fortune as our lunch spot before our Dali museum visit. THANKFULLY, the food and service was good. I personally would have choose different music for the ambience of the restaurant, as thumping music didn’t fit the Japanese style of the place . It’s a lovely place and lunch was good.

    Awful service. I picked sushi so that it will be served quicker. It has not arrived after 40 minutes and I was told multiple times that it is coming soon. I had to cancel it and have the check instead. Never again.

    We went for brunch,they were having system issues so the service was a lot slower than what they normally project. And yes we were for warned. They were out of many of their menu items which left the selection to be very minimal. We ordered the Chicken and waffles. The chicken was over cooked/burned and the waffle was under done. Leaving it mushy and tasting like flour. The short rib bao buns had such a horrible smell. They literally smelled like dirty mop water. I would not recommend this place for food at all. The atmosphere and vibe of the place was very nice however.

    The food was good but the service ruined the whole experience, it’s the most important part of a restaurant. When I made the reservation I put as a note that it was my friends birthday and when I arrived there I reminded the hostess and she told the waiter, but the waiter Bryce was all over the place and obviously forgot completely. The whole point of going to the restaurant was celebrating my friends birthday and it was completely disregarded even after reminding them, super disappointed in their customer service.

    Our server Bryce was AMAZING! The food was really good. For the Bao buns (the short rib) the meat is very lack of and could of definitely used a little more (was mostly bun). Also, weird that you can’t pick 2 different options and have to have the same ones.

    The food is definitely worth a try. The environment is really interesting, although it is a bit loud. The prices are a bit high but that should be expected downtown. Overall this place is a must try but not sure it's a place I would go to regularly.
