Good Earth Roseville
The Good Earth, however,
receives plenty of adulation --- from critics impressed with our commitment to top ingredients, to a loyal clientele that make the
Good Earth their first choice for hearty, healthy eating. Both locations offer a diverse menu ranging from comfort food classics to fiery curries. Yet it's not just the cooking that earns accolades...
"Good things come in the attitude of the servers, who know the menu and do everything they can to enhance your dining experience; and the airy, pleasant feel of these spaces that were smoke-free long before it became PC."

Our meals were very tasty and affordable. The carrot cake is to die for.
Time with an old friend
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic. Overall a great place to have a nice meal. They are a little pricy but the food is worth it.
Delicious maple chicken salad! Loved it! Felt very Covid safe.
We love the Good Earth in Roseville and frequent it once a month.
Hope they have heaters outside as the weather gets colder. We will bring our own blankets to eat our favorite dishes.
We would eat outside all fall, winter, and spring, as we get through the third, and hopefully final stage of the virus...
My husband and I have eaten at the Good Earth for hundreds of times since they opened. Obviously we're happy with our experience almost every time. Food is of good quality, is fresh and delicious. There's something for everyone with a nice variety to choose from. Staff is very friendly.
This used to be one of my favorite places. I was disappointed in the good quality, my coconut curry had no flavor or spice, the artichoke dip tasted like cabbage with some mayonnaise on it, no Parmesan at all. I asked for honey for my tea 3 times, and never got it. The waitress started hosing off the patio while we were still there, we were never informed it closed at any certain time (it was only 6:45pm). I was very disappointed in all aspects, I wish I could say better.
We enjoyed fabulous weather on the outdoor patio, watching the sunset while enjoying supper. GF bar was a great sweet ending.
The Bean Burrito is excellent!
Love the Good Earth. Great selection of menus items. Try the turkey meatloaf. It’s excellent
Julie is very professional and thorough. She is a wonderful server.
The Good Earth tea was really the only thing good about our meal. We did have a great waitress. I had a bean burrito and my daughter had the teriyaki chicken with brown rice instead of broccoli. Our meals came out cold, I don't think they sat in back but just were poorly made. The rice in my burrito and my daughters didn't taste fresh, given that it was cold, it must not have been. Our waitress did have the kitchen remake our meals but they just were not as good as in the past. I don't know that I will go back, lots of other options out there.
I looked forward to celebrating my brother’s birthday there. I was pleased that we were seated in a booth and the booths on either side and the table across the way seemed to have been left open. However they were all ultimately filled and I was uncomfortable having only a short glass partition between myself and the person behind me. The service also grew to be slower, possibly because there were that many more people to serve. I wish it had been warm enough to sit on the deck!
Love the food at Good Earth and wish they had more options -- such as the bread they used to serve.
Always a favorite, we took advantage of the nice weather to have brunch on the patio. Service and food were outstanding!
Good Earth is fortunate to have a deck during the COVID quarantine. Service was excellent on what may be very close to the final outdoor dining night. The menu is reduced from pre-quarantine dats, but it certainly is satisfactory. Service was excellent.
Last minute outdoors dinner to enjoy a beautiful Friday night on their patio with a friend. Good food & good service.
Always great food and service! I would recommend this location!
nice place for a quiet lunch that follows COVID rules well, good appetizers and salads, good service
Went to celebrate my son’s 25th birthday with our wives. Ate outside. Food was great (mix of breakfast and lunch items), service excellent. Only thing I’d recommend are space heaters.
Good Earth's patio is a great place to meet a friend for dinner. Unfortunately when I set up the reservations for 6:30pm I had no idea that the kitchen closed at 7pm due to COVID-19 so our dinner was much shorter than planned. When I asked the server if I could pay and then continue sitting on the deck since my friend was visiting from out of town or if we needed to physically leave so she could go home, she confirmed that we had to leave in order for staff to leave so we felt obligated to hurry up and leave which wasn't ideal. It would have been nice to be notified during the reservation process that hours were reduced so we could have planned accordingly. That aside, I will still recommend the restaurant because we are all going through this pandemic for the first time!
I intentionally made reservations for the patio to enjoy one more meal outside. Also, my guest, due to covid, has only been eating in restaurants that have patios. When we arrived the patio was full so we had to eat indoors. Per Good Earth, Open Table simply accepts the reservation but doesn’t communicate with them related to how many outdoor tables they have. Unless there is no other option, I will no longer use Open Table.
Too much cinnamon potpourri smell inside, and although I booked a patio that somehow got lost. Otherwise, it was a good experience. I’d go back.
I had the squash soup and as always it was fantastic! I would love the recipe but I don't think that is possible, so I will just have to keep going back.
Delishes shrimp dishes!!!
Enjoyed the outdoor patio and the food of course as usual.
Everything was great! Enjoyed it very much. Only problem eating outside is the traffic noise and there is nothing that can be done about that.
The best food and atmosphere! Comfy and cozy with friendly staff.
It was a perfect evening and temperature for patio dining. There was just enough of an overhang to block the setting sun from our eyes and we didn’t have to raise our voices to talk. Our waitress was very responsive and even set aside a scrumptious dessert bar for us to get, along with a couple boxes of tea (love their tea!) on our way out. The artichoke dip with naan was very good, and we didn’t have to wait long for our main courses, as they arrived before the appetizer was gone. Both meals were vegetarian and delicious, with enough for lunch the next day. A vegan, gluten-free dessert bar was so amazingly good we needed one to go! We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we were surprised when we inquired to their closing time, to find out it was 7:00pm but the current time was almost 8:00pm and they didn’t try to rush us out. It was a delightful experience.
Thank you very much
I'd been there previously and tried the poke bowl, which was fresh, unique and excellent. The dishes we tried this time were fine (Grain bowl and Teriyaki Chicken). Fresh, but did not take us to flavor-city. I would've expected a ~similar culinary experience next door at Applebees. We'll be back when the poke bowl is back on the menu.
I’m from out of state and Thank you letting me visit so long with my cousin who i haven’t seen in a couple years. It was great!!
Business meeting. Very noisy outside.
We had great service and the food was delicious.
The Good Earth is always wonderful! Food is delicious and healthy, service is great! It's a fabulous place to get a wonderful meal and have a good relaxing time.
You can feel good about what you ate after you left this restaurant!
I chose Good Earth because I love their tea and I thought it would be a good, healthy experience. I had never been there before. I made a reservation and requested outdoor seating because it was an option. When we arrived, we were told outdoor seating was not available and offered a table indoors. The manager who greeted us at the door was only half wearing his mask, covering his mouth but not his nose. Our interactions with the staff were pleasant, but rushed even though it wasn't busy. The food is just okay - side salad was wilted and way overdressed. The meal was very overpriced based on the quality and portions. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Good Earth. You can get an equivalent meal with better ambiance for less money at Panera.
always great healthy food. Yummy!
I did think that it took a long time to get our food as it wasn't that busy.
I didn't see the specials until I was leaving, they were not mentioned to us before we ordered.
Always great food and outstanding service! Patio has beautiful flowers too!
