Good Earth Roseville
The Good Earth, however,
receives plenty of adulation --- from critics impressed with our commitment to top ingredients, to a loyal clientele that make the
Good Earth their first choice for hearty, healthy eating. Both locations offer a diverse menu ranging from comfort food classics to fiery curries. Yet it's not just the cooking that earns accolades...
"Good things come in the attitude of the servers, who know the menu and do everything they can to enhance your dining experience; and the airy, pleasant feel of these spaces that were smoke-free long before it became PC."

Delicious cream of broccoli soup and Jambalaya!
Wonderful healthy food and excellent service. We enjoyed breakfast there.
The maple chicken salad is excellent, as are the bread choices.
ALWAYS consistently good food! Though tight quarters, it's not overwhelming (at least in the booth seating) -conversations with each other are easy and you don't have to strain to listen or speak. This is only my impression from the lunch hour...I've never been there for dinner!
Greatservce, loved the stuffed squash on the seasonal menu. Quiet booth where we could talk.
Food was excellent, but for the very FIRST time in all our years dining at the Good Earth, we had to send back a dinner because it was cold. Two of us had ordered the stuffed squash which was disappointingly cold. It was a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with our sons and their families because we will be in Florida for Thanksgiving. Julie was excellent (as usual) in dealing with nine of us, including three kids and various vegans and vegetarians among the group.. As usual the , just right dishes were very good.
Deja vu! I had last visited the Roseville Good Earth 25 years ago, and I immediately flashbacked when I opened the door and smelled the warm and welcoming Sweet & Spicy tea fragrance, I don't remember the decor from back then, but I thought it was very "comfy" and pleasant. Our server was perky and friendly throughout our visit, attentive without being intrusive, and the food was delicious and prepared with an eye for the importance of aesthetic appeal. Altogether, the Good Earth is obviously still around because it is a wonderful place to meet friends and family for dinner. We will all definitely stop again when we're in the area!
We had a great server and you really can’t beat the vegetable curry there 🙌
I just wish there was more parking available! Otherwise, great.
The Good Earth is consistently good food, organic and great selection. The specials are great and good service. Love going there!
I’m very disappointed to find out the all customers are paying a Health and Wellness fee for The God Earth employees. This means, employee health care cost are being imposed upon patrons. I will never go back!!
The food was very good - the server was not very outgoing - and did not go above and beyond basic responsibility. Really miss the bread/cracker basket being brought to each table as part of the experience - would have been excellent with the soup!
Sunday brunch is always a busy time, so I know our waitress was busy; however, just when we were ready to order, she took off for another table, etc.; had to wait ahwile for her return. When the food was delivered (by another employee), the "scrambled turkey-egg bake" dish was cold to luke-warm, and that gal took off soon after deliery; and took awhile for our waitress to return, to let her know:
that another person's meal was missing the turkey sausage, etc.
at other times we would say "Miss, Miss" and they would keep walking off.
Eventually, we had our meals, but GE needs to keep a focus on the Service, even when its busy. Hire more help for busy days??
Another lovely meal. Got to have my favorite acorn squash soup & autumn wrap, so tasty!
The food was as good as expected, and we always enjoy the house tea. We also very much appreciate the birthday and anniversary carrot cake, which we share. I always post a photo of us on Facebook, with the caption that "Good Earth-Roseville" is our go-to restaurant when celebrating special events, and I tip our friendly, efficient server a bit more for providing the cake. Service was quick and attentive. One complaint: the online menu needs updating, as some items appear to be changed and prices are lower than in house.
All was as expected. Service and food. Parking was a challenge as always.
It was my girlfriend’s birthday dinner and it was AMAZING!
Restaurant week - Healthy eating at it’s finest!
The service was spectacular. The food was mostly excellent as always, except for the stuffed squash. It was brought to the table, it was the most unappetizing meal I have ever seen, it looked like something was regurgitated on the plate. It was equally tasteless. I would also like to say their bathroom is always dirty. Please clean them.
I haven't been to the restaurant in many years and I was dissapointed in the quality of the food, the portion sizes and the service. Probably won't be back.
Was very disappointed with the food at Good Earth! I don't remember it being this bad a couple years ago. The prices are way too high for the poor quality of food. Hopefully, I don't get invited to go back there!
I have eaten at the GE often over the years. Our service on Sat morning Oct. 12 was much slower than usual. Our food took a long time and our sever was slow on checking back with us for water and refills on tea. Not the best!
Very fresh salad and delicious soup!
So excited for Autumn Turkey Wrap! Recommend using Open Table for seating. Was seated right away vs the lobby was full of people waiting.
I invited a friend to meet there for lunch to celebrate his recent birthday. He had never been there, and so the menu was new for him. We both ordered different food, and enjoyed our lunches. We had an excellent server. I will definitely return.
Sensible portions of delicious, healthfully prepared food.
We were disappointed in the experience - much less enjoyable than the Edina Good Earth. We had a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old with us, so pretty obvious we would need children's menus. But we had to ask our waitress twice to bring them. One main dish salad order was delivered missing multiple key salad ingredients and it took several minutes for the correction to be made, leaving one person still eating long after the others were done. Water was not refreshed during the entire meal, despite several of us having empty or near-empty glasses. We all agreed we would not return to this Good Earth, though we will to Edina.
Me and my mom use to love coming here but the last 3x we have been in the service has been horrible, this most recent time our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us, we got a shareable which came out the same time as our food, one order didn’t come out right. It was really just disappointing overall.
I ordered Maple chicken salad and it was fresh and delicious. The waitress was very nice, kind and attentive. She brought us a complimentary huge slice of carrot cake for my son's birthday we were there celebrating for!
In the past I have enjoyed eating at Good Earth. This time I had a Seasonal Special stuffed squash.
It was not good at all. In fact I took most home and then just threw it out. The super sweet applesauce topping was terrible. Service was good. It seemed too dark in the restaraunt also.
Sorry, that was my experience.
I ordered the Thai chicken wrap which I have had numerous times and it was very disappointing. All it was was chicken and rice, no veggies. Plus it was way overpriced for what it was. Probably will not return in the near future at all
We had dinner on a Friday evening and definitely would return. The fall menu has some delicious offerings. They were able to accommodate a special dietary request. The cheesecake was fabulous with a generous assortment of berries.
The acorn squash soup is my favorite, so good!!! Wish they had it all year round. The maple chicken salad and autumn wrap are my two other favorites I wish I could get year round. Always love coming here.
Monthly book club was made wonderful by the patio & wondefin Julie once again!
My only complaint was the time it took to get the food and some of it was a bit cold. We sat outside so maybe that was the factor.
Service was a little on the slow side (the woman at the table next to us actually had to go inside to find someone to come take her order), and our orders were wrong the first time around and the staff kind of tried to pass the buck, but in the end the food was excellent and had what was truly the best cheesecake of my life. Might be a good idea to serve up the gluten free or allergy-friendly dishes on different colored plates so there's less confusion in the kitchen and with the staff and customers. The patio was absolutely beautiful and the quiet atmosphere was a breath of fresh air. I was SO HAPPY that they were playing classical music instead of something like top-40 hits. It really changes the feel of the restaurant in a good way when they play classical.
Super fresh food and great service.
Patio dining on a beautiful fall day was fabulous
First time there and was very busy. Service was great, but food was ok. Got the soup and was on the salty side.
Seasonal menu features Heirloom tomatoes. Love the Tomato couscous salad.
One of the few restaurants that offers a REAL pot of tea.
