Good Earth Roseville
The Good Earth, however,
receives plenty of adulation --- from critics impressed with our commitment to top ingredients, to a loyal clientele that make the
Good Earth their first choice for hearty, healthy eating. Both locations offer a diverse menu ranging from comfort food classics to fiery curries. Yet it's not just the cooking that earns accolades...
"Good things come in the attitude of the servers, who know the menu and do everything they can to enhance your dining experience; and the airy, pleasant feel of these spaces that were smoke-free long before it became PC."

Went for valentine’s day! super cute valentine day dinners, starters and soup was super good! good seasonal options
Service was very slow. Took 15 minutes to get water. The rice in my burrito was crunchy. Waitress never came back to ask how our food was.
My aunt and I both had the cashew chicken sandwich and both thought it was bland. my bread was good but her Sour dough was lacking. The so called german chocolate cake was an excellent chocolate cake but not german chocolate and the icing was similar to what the recipe for the frosting on German chocolate cake is.
Wonderful, fantastic selection for all type of eaters.
We were catching up and hogged the table. I usually don’t do this especially when it’s busy and I want the wait staff to turn over the table during their shift. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer about it.
We always enjoy celebrating birthdays and anniversaries at Good Earth, where the conditions for eating healthy, safe foods in the company of intelligent, happy conversationalists is common. We also enjoy the complimentary carrot cake!
We Love Good Earth. We've been coming here for years to celebrate my wife's birthday with friends. It's has something for everyone regardless of your tastes or dietary needs. Always so good.
The food is consistently good. Server was very prompt and courteous.
We enjoyed our lunch, were not rushed and actually stayed for over 2 hours.
thanks for great hospitality!
Our lunch, as always, was excellent. But one side problem due to the popularity of this restaurant is that the parking lot is full at Noon. And alternatives are not clear. .
I go to Good Earth several times per month. You can make a Rez. The food is yummy and healthy. And the waiters are always friendly. The decor could use an upgrade. Don't know why the owners don't create these restaurants throughout the Twin Cities.
i has the cashew chicken wrap and it was great. Had a little spice kick which I loved. Service was good. Only thing I would say is the building looks dated and not real appealing from the outside. Someone who is not familiar with their food might bypass this place. I love their food!
The host and server were fantastic. The half sandwich was pretty dry and not very appealing. With a small cup of soup, I did not feel it was worth the $13 or $14 I paid.
This was a great place for a delicious, lovely luncheon with our friends. So glad we had reservations because Saturdays are busy! But our booth was ready and waiting promptly. Our server was exceptionally delightful and attentive in just the right ways (and without hovering). Four of us ordered a range of foods (various salads to burgers) and all of us were pleased. Food servings are beautiful, substantial, as well as delicious.
Good Earth always a good option with menu options for every palette. However this visit was OK, not great.
The food was good, but not exceptional Veggie burger a bit soggy, Quesadilla did not have any guacamole, Winter Bowl fairly tasty but not outstanding.
Always good food. Always busy. Glad I made reservations.
The fees are getting so high it is difficult to continue going here for lunch.
Service is always very slow.
Wild rice soup was just ok, service was great and Nachos really good
We love Good Earth, and go there quite often. However, when I made the reservation I added a note that it was my step son's Birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a desert. I have to admit that I forgot it until we left, but I was disapointed that they didnt read the note and make his Birthday just a little more special......
Very good! We had salads and fish tacos. It was a busy Saturday so noise was a little loud but definitely acceptable. I’ve been back since.
The parking lot in front was VERY ice covered and thus VERY dangerous.
I was very disappointed, as were my dining partners. The portions are significantly smaller and the prices are too high. It cost me almost $30 to eat lunch. EVERYTHING is an up-charge - like cheese on a planet burger, which should be included just to hold the darn thing together.
The service was TERRIBLE!
Good Earth used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I am very saddened.
We have been going to Good Earth for many years. I always feel I have had a healthy meal when dining there.
Last night it was definitely off. Not sure if waitress was new but
Was slow. Once we ordered appetizer- shrimp and crab cake,
Bowl of wild rice and mushroom soup and the Good Earth burger.
We waited awhile and then everything came at one time delivered
By someone else.
The burger was flavorful and cooked just right, appetizer and soup were okay. Before we had finished she asked if we were going to have dessert. When we said probably, it took about 15 minutes to get that menu.
We ordered the carrot cake -what a mistake it was cold, dry and not not very flavorful. Tasted like it was stale!!
Some things were minor but all in all I’m glad it wasn’t our first time there or I don’t think we would return.
They were not real busy so part of the reason for this review.
It was great
I was pleased with this experience. They were able to accommodate me with multiple sensitivites/allergies and my 87 year old Father with a walker. Thank you!
We enjoyed this place, though the crowd was a bit older but the staff was great and the food was pretty good. Not a stunner but just good decent.
Same experience every time. Great food, lackluster service.
sandwich was excellent. Service was exceptional -- especially when the restaurant was so crowded at noon. Only problem was that the wi-fi was not working properly. Diners need wi-fi access so they do not have to do everything on their phone.
Our server was outstanding. This was a business lunch, and she attended to our needs in a friendly, efficient, and appropriate manner. Really made it an enjoyable experience!
Although I enjoy this establishment, the. Service seems quite stale lately. As if staff has grown complacent, server did not check back in with us, allowed our plates to sit on the table and the wait for our check was horrendous. They gotta figure out how to get checks on tables faster so they can turn the tables faster for those waiting.
Great fresh made food with seasonal menu changes. Wish there were more locations in Twin Cities!
The Good Earth is a favorite place at any time of the day. The warm and friendly atmosphere invites conversation and the smells from the kitchen entice my appetite. I enjoy the attentiveness of the staff and delicious as well as nutritious menu choices. The restaurant consistently produces beautiful and savory menu items.
The food is good. Many healthy choices. Don’t go here if you want a quick bit. Service is so slow. Kitchen is sooo slow. Not sure what was going on because the restaurant was not busy.
Good Earth is such a fun spot! Seasonal options, awesome teas and smoothies, plenty of options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike!!! Nancy is always so friendly and fabulous!!! All around great place!!!
Unfortunately we will not be going back to good earth. Our server Adam was slow, not enthusiastic or welcoming. We waited to long for him to bring water to our table, take our order, for appetizers and meal. After waiting a while we asked the bus woman for a box since he wouldn’t make eye contact with us when walking by. The bus woman was doing a great job at cleaning tables and turning them over for all other sections. We were there for 1 hour at 20 mins. Much longer than needed for a quick lunch on a Saturday.
Food and menu is always the draw here. Has been for over 30 years! They are always busy at dinner and on weekends. Plan accordingly
Delicious cream of broccoli soup and Jambalaya!
Wonderful healthy food and excellent service. We enjoyed breakfast there.
The maple chicken salad is excellent, as are the bread choices.
