    Felt like I was transported to Japan the second I walked in. Service is quick and the food is amazing. Each item we had was layered with flavor and cooked to perfection. Top dishes were the Gyozas and Tuna Taku, but everything was amazing.

    Highly recommend. Awesome spot for small plates to share and drinks. Order lots! Very authentic and a fun and unique experience. The torched salmon sushi and roasted eggplant were standouts. All the skewers are excellent, especially the flank steak. Looking forward to next time!

    I love this place so much!! Food is consistently delicious, service is so friendly and quick, and the coldest asahi you’ll ever find!

    Fantastic restaurant. I had a party there for 20 people and they did an unbelievable job with it. Food came out quick, was delicious, and the staff were amazing. The value is great too. The dishes are small so you're able to try many different things. Our favourites were the crispy cabbage, gyoza, salmon oshizushi, sashimi, and buta bara skewers. Everything is great though.

    We went to Gonzo for a birthday celebration. The interior/decoration, and overall vibe feel just like being in Japan. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be going back in the future

    Even though the place is nice as well as the service the prices vs. the size of the portions is not reasonable, too small for the price you are paying and they have no mains, so it’s more for like beer and snacks rather than to have a dinner

    The food is so good, one of the best izakaya’s in Toronto. The staff are all friendly, and it’s cool to sit at the bar and watch them cook while you eat and drink.
