Another great dinner. Cadillac Margarita on the rocks with salt is tasty…and not too sweet like the crap Margaritas. I could make a meal of the chips and salsa, but there is a fresh tableside guacamole that should not be missed. Los is the best server and will help guide you to what you might like. We will see Los next time we visit from ST LOUIS! Thanks for the great experience.

Skip Diablo's (very noisy and chain-like) and go next door to NYNY for well made and extremely tasty Mexican food.

The margaritas were good, but the food very average. I expected more from the reviews that I had seen.

The drinks were OK and so was the food. However our apetizers and entrees came within minutes of each other with no where to put the plates on the tiny table for 4.

Food was above average, my partner loved the fajitas. The nachos to start were also very yummy and a big portion. Only thing is we had the nachos 5 minutes and they brought out our mains, We would have liked to enjoy the nachos and then have a break before mains. It's a good place for a quick meal, pretty standard.

Your basic Mexican restaurant that serves very average food that does not come close to true Mexican cooking. Food came out in less than 5 minutes so that says much about the type of cooking done here. Lower your expectations but nice atmosphere and decent service.

Was in Vegas and decided to go here for Cinco de Mayo. This was my 2nd time in this restaurant and the food was very good both times. I sat "outside" of the restaurant which is inside of NY/NY hotel. The area is loud and has a lot of foot traffic. Plus you will often here the roller coaster slow down above your head.

I had the fajitas which were delicious and the Chips and Salsa as an appetizer were tasty. The salsa was VERY good.

If I am in the mood for Mexican again the next time in Vegas, I will return to Gonzalez Y Gonzalez.

Our dinner was very special because it was the night before my wedding. My Dad had flown in from CA, and my brother (whom i had not seen in 6 years) had flown in from Washington. The night was memorable and the food was delicious. Thank you for your extreme hospitality and wonderful service!

Saw some positive reviews for this restaurant and we decided to go for a family dinner in Vegas. We should have walked away when there were only about eight guests at 8p on a Thursday night... We were all very disappointed with experience, especially quality of food. We had a group of ten, and not one had a positive review of their dinner. Server was ok at best. Would never go back (or recommend) based on our experience.

My husband and I ate at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez. We were going to a show and had less than an hour to eat. The hostess suggested we sit at the bar for faster service. The bartender was great and the margarita was one of the best I've ever had. We ordered our food and it seemed like we got it in 5 minutes. The food, atmosphere, and service were all great. We will definitely be going back!

This restaurant delivers time and time again. Great food, great service and great prices. We feel like family when we come here. The servers remember you from earlier visits and always make a point of coming by to say "Hello" and catch up. Food is served hot, quick and always perfect. We will be back..

We have eaten here before and enjoyed a very good menu. This time, the restaurant had a very limited menu for the New Year's weekend. The 3-day abbreviated menu lacked many of the items were were looking forward to--and the limited menu was not advertised. My wife ordered a burrito that was supposed to contain roasted vegetables; however, she received the wrong burrito (it contained a couple of peas), and the waiter did not offer to exchange the item (he did offer to bring her some vegetables on the side). Service was not attentive. Chips and salsa cost an additional 2.95.

Manny did a great job! He was on it the whole night! The man who came out to make the table side guacamole was really funny and personable ! We had a round of shots with Manny's advice on what to get tequila wise! We will be back! Guacamole was amazing btw! Fresh and lime flavored so good!!

Terrific food and service! Ordered the Shrimp & Chicken Suissa that was very tasty and had Hugh shrimp nicely grilled sitting on top with black beans (on the side) and mexican rice. The margherita which accompanied the dinner was very good, not necessarily top shelf but it was part of the dinner combo meal and worth the price.

I had lunch here with a group of co-workers, and the food and service were both good. We were seated outside the restaurant, so it was moderately noisy with people walking by and other activities going on. I ordered the fire roasted steak fajitas. I've had better Mexican food, but this restaurant was okay for an informal group outing.

Knew nothing about the place and thought we would take a chance. This was a great find. Ambience was good.. Plenty of TVs for sports... Drinks were very good.. And the good.... Let's say I'll be back. The sweet potato steak fries are completely ridiculous. Can't wait to be back and try some more things.

We were trying to find a good place to eat that wouldn't cost us our first born and we happened upon Gonzalez Y Gonzalez. The food was very good and the prices were extremely reasonable compared to many other places in Vegas. We got the fresh guacamole made right at the table and it was tremendous.

Mimi was a server. She was very friendly and attentive. I thought it was a bit whack you had to purchase chips and salsa but that was that. My margarita was very ok and the skirt steak that we ordered was extremely chewy and overcooked.

This is out first time eating at this restaurant, or going into this hotel/casino. We picked the placed based on the prices listed on the NYNY Android app. We were very disappointed with the blah food. Service was good at the start, but come time to pay our waitress was nowhere to be found. This happened to all the tables that our waitress was in charged of. I was also very disappointed in the price of the drinks (even though the price was not listed) Needless to say we will not be back to this restaurant.

This is a good Mexican food restaurant in the heart of NYNY Casino. The food was good and very reasonably priced compared to every other sit down restaurant we visited during our trip. Using Open Table to make a reservation on Valentine's Day was great.

the staff was friendly, the waiter had a hard time understanding what we were asking for , for example he asked us if we wanted any water and we told him yes 3 , he brought us 5, took a while to get our drinks, by the way the margaritas were great. overall the experience was just ok.

Went with a small group of six and was seated right away in table off the main dining room so we were basically on the casino floor. It was a great location to absorb some of the ambiance of NYNY and to partake in some fantastic people-watching. The food - meh. It was pretty standard Mexican. Nothing fantastic about it, but adequately pleasing if you like the type of Mexican food you get at 99% of the Mexican restaurants. The prices were very reasonable, particularly in comparison to most casino restaurants. I had the combo of three items for $15.95, which also came with rice and beans.
