Food is always outstanding. Excellent margaritas!
Gonza is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant.
Great food as always and amazing service! They were busy, but our server was attendant to all of her tables. Love this place for its good offerings and relaxed ambiance.
Servers are always attentive and kind. Kitchen staff is always accommodating to allergy and special dietary needs. Service and food has always been provided in a timely manner.
Enjoyed everything, waitress Stephanie was terrific and very knowledgeable of food & beverages.
At the outset, I love this restaurant and it is one of our regulars. Tonight, both the service and food were just a bit off. I still love the restaurant, but is was just not quite up to its regular performance.
It was beautiful outside so we enjoyed the weather and the play area for the kids!
Service was very poor, we had to ask twice for drinks, eventually get our own wine glasses from the bartender, and we asked four times for hot sauce when our meal was served. We are never in a hurry when we eat out, but the wait here was too long even for us. The food is reasonable, but nothing special. In our opinion there are way better places for good Mexican food. We won’t be back.
We went mainly for ceviche. They told us they only had INE order left? 7:00 reservation?
The service, food and my top shelf margarita were outstanding. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Have dined here many times and will definitely be back. Love the pollo street tacos with extra cilantro!
The food was delicious as usual. It was a lovely way to celebrate a birthday.
Ella was fabulous!! So attentive and polite! We will definitely be back!
great open outdoor are and dog friendly! great service
Food was excellent! Service felt a little rushed. Appetizer, drinks, and dinner and we were out of there in 30 minutes.
This was our third time and I love this place. The Platano dish is amazing.
With so many restaurants struggling to retain help, I’m never sure how a restaurant dinner is going to go. This was a stellar experience. The host readily accommodated our request for outdoor dining, service was attentive, and food was great!
Love the ambiance and location! Food is super good …we love their salsa! The manager stopped by our table more than once to check on us…excellent service!!
Food was good but the service was not. The server took over 45 minutes to take our food order after we sat down and then the food took another 35 min to come out after ordering. All in all, it was a slow 2 hour dinner.
Good was excellent as always and the service was wonderful!
Our waitress was amazing!
My husband and I had our first meal here for our 48th wedding anniversary. While it was a little louder than we anticipated, we thoroughly enjoyed the decor, and the delightful staff who answered our menu questions. The food was really excellent, with new (to us) spices and flavors, and we look forward to returning to try more of the items on the menu!
Great food. Came with a group of friends, and we all had good food!
Queso, guac and steak tacos. Delicious. Always good at Gonza!
Gonza is always awesome! Just walking in the door makes me happy - I love the decor. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. And the food… the food! House margarita is perfection, but the fancy ones are good if you’re looking to mix it up. Queso is the best, it’s just the right amount of spicy mixed with creamy goodness! I used to always get the fish and rice dish, which is amazing. But when the menu was limited due to the pandemic last year I tried the tacos and the pastor tacos are my new favorite dish! The pork is tender and juicy, and the pineapple, tomatillo salsa, and fresh cilantro compliment it perfectly. My favorite date night destination!
The hostesses and waitress were all very friendly and attentive!
The price, food, and atmosphere were all pretty average. Nothing exceptionally good or bad.
We just relocated to NC from Southern CA. This restaurant was recommended by our neighborhood website. We had a 5:30 pm reservation for a party of 3 on Saturday, 7/24. We arrived a little after 5:00 pm. Restaurant just opened at 5:00 pm. We asked if we could have a booth, and the hostess said no, they are reserved for larger parties. Mind you, the restaurant only had a couple tables seated. We were then seated at a four top near the patio door and server station. I asked if we could be seated somewhere not near all the traffic flows and was told that they had a lot of reservations that night. That set the tone for our evening. Again, the restaurant only had a few parties at that time. Both the server and food were good, but food did take longer than expected especially when the restaurant was not yet busy. My husband tried ordering the salmon fish tacos and were told that they weren't ready yet?? First impressions are everything. Hostess staff need to provide better service to guests!
This is one of our go-to places. We always have a great meal.
Everything was fantastic! The drinks especially were top notch!
Juan waited on us and was very welcoming and efficient. The food was delicious; very fresh and not your typical Mexican food. Loved it!
We absolutely love this place
Everything was amazing as usual! Gonza is me and my family’s favorite restaurant in the triangle
Had reservation so we sat right away. Server was very attentive. Food/drinks were great.
Great food and atmosphere
The food was very good. My only comment would be to place additional Colombian dishes on the menu. I went to the restaurant for Colombian food as they advertised as a Mexican and Colombian restaurant. Surprisingly no Ajiaco or arepas or even patacones on the menu. I did get steak tacos and soup, which was very good.
We each ordered a different taco plate, and we all agreed that they were delicious!
The server was very polite and made suggestions. Overall a great experience!
Gonza is always a good choice IMO. The food is consistently good across the locations. The Cary location is fun, I bring my dog and eat outdoors on the patio. The staff treats him like a customer, it’s great.
I recommend all of the Gonza T&T locations. Great food & drinks. Fun atmosphere. Great service. Bonus points for speaking the food-allergy language as well. Cheers
The food was excellent but it took a long time to get our food. It wasn’t that busy and still our food arrived cold.
My friend and I had a reservation at 745p, not realizing the restaurant closed at 8p. When we arrived the waitress, cannot remember her name, quickly alerted us that the kitchen would close at 8p. We apologize for being so late, to which she replied, 'No worries! I'll grab your drinks.' Later, when she came back with our second round of guac, YUM!, she told us that she'd spoken to the kitchen on our behalf and they would allow us to place a simple order! UM THANK YOU! Anyways, we had wonderful service, a fabulous waiter, and GREAT drinks! I had a Paloma with Anejo tequila, HIGHLY recommend. Thanks, Gonza!
