Our server was wonderful... prompt, knowledgable and friendly.
Food was good and priced well.
This was our first time visiting the Gondolier and we were very pleased.
This was our first visit to the Gondolier restaurant in Longmont. We found it wonderful! Cozy atmosphere, great service, and the food was delish! They had my favorite on the menu-spaghetti carbonara and it was fantastic. And the portions are huge. Very reasonably priced as well. This will be my new go to Italian restaurant locally.
The food was extremely delicious. Their homemade spaghetti is off the charts. The service could've been better. The host seemed to be a tad bit rude and in a hurry. I would still go back here for the awesome ambiance, the delicious food. The crab cakes were great - the garlic knots with spicy marinara are fantastic. Their pork marsala was average.
We always love the Gondolier! It has been a favorite from way back when our kids were little in Boulder. They are now grown and have kids of their own and of course still bring them to the Gondolier. We love both the Boulder and Longmont locations, especially since we are now located in Longmont.
Good Italian food at reasonable prices. Service is terrific!
the Gondolier in Boulder has always been our go to place. THis time we tried the one in Longmont. Big Disappointment. The service was not great, they took forever to get our order to us - and we watched other diners who came in later get their orders and leave before we even got ours. I asked about it, and was told it was coming right out..... when our dinners finally did arrive they were cold, hastily thrown together, and the sauces were really watery.. Not sure what happened - maybe they just forgot about us. I think we'll stay with Boulder.
Good food and service, one of to places in iLongmont. Parking is an issue.
Waiter was great b good suggestions on food. Very attentive.
Our waiter was great. Good service. Great food. Fair prices. Will definitely return.
Great food and service. Very loud though and difficult to have a conversation.
Greatest happy hour. Perfect portions
I've eaten at the Boulder Gondolier for years and have always had a great experience. We went in Tuesday evening and the restaurant wasn't very busy. 3 of our 8 entree plates came out wrong and my daughter's Osso Buco risotto was too spicy for anyone at the table to eat. They were happy to take it off our check. Service was definitely a little rough. Not the same experience that we've had in Boulder.
Had reservations. Spent 15 minutes looking for parking. Waited 90 minutes for food. Food was good, but not worth a 90 minute wait. Grateful that the wait staff attempted to make it right, but all and all, I don’t recommend going during a busy night.
No matter how many times they try to tell me that they made my risotto with arborio rice, I refuse to have my intelligence insulted. I know the difference between long grain white rice, which was on my plate, and arborio. They look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. It's fine if someone new makes a mistake, it's NOT ok to assume the customer is just an idiot who doesn't know the difference. Because of their response to me when bringing this to their attention, coupled with how terrible both of our meals were, we we'll never be going back.
My wife and I had a most enjoyable meal at the Gondolier.
Gondolier is a gem on the south end of Main in Longmont! The food is incredible, from the appetizers (you can’t go wrong with the garlic knots) to the entrees, pizzas, and salads. The pasta selection is outstanding (and even includes veggie noodles for the carb conscious) and you can pair it with many of their different, delicious sauces. The wine list is extensive, but you can also indulge in reasonable wines by the glass and on tap. They also have a great selection of craft beer. The service is consistently prompt and friendly with knowledgeable waitstaff, and the ambiance is open and tasteful! A fabulous meal anytime you’re in Longmont!
Brought out of town guests to Gndolier for dinner on a week night. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.
Anita was an excellent server. Great food and a nice wine selection.
We were visiting from out of state to see my nephew. We were greeted by an experienced waiter who gave us time to review menu while bringing water for the table. I ordered the caprese salad which was served with a variety of fresh greens, fresh mozzarella and tomato. The balsamic reduction was perfect. Next I chose the lasagna. Great flavors with extra sauce which is always enjoyable. Overall it was a great experience with wonderful food.
Love Gondolier. Best pasta. Been going to this restaurant chain for over 25 years!
The ravioli I purchased was decent (I really liked the spicy marinara), but I was surprised and disappointed that the meal didn't come with breadsticks or salad. Weird.
Everything was really good but I gave it a 4 star because the GF pasta was not fully cooked. The service was outstanding- we sAt outside after riding our bikes mainly because there were no bike racks but it was a non issue. The bartenders wAited on us and to be honest it was hands down the best service we’ve had at a longmont Restsurant. The food was also really good- fresh, lots of GF OPTIONS for folks with sensitivities. We will come back again!
The Gondolier overall was fine but I don't think I'll go back. To me it tasted very generic and wasn't very special. I felt I could have made the same at home. The food was not bad at all but I don't really want to spend $10+ on a plate a spaghetti when I could make the same thing at home for much cheaper. My girlfriend felt the same way about her dish (though she wasn't a fan of the chicken). I did like the look and feel of the restaurant but the location isn't great and the prices felt a little high for what it is.
Good food. Service was also very good. Great venue to catch up with friends.
The furnishings and overall vibe were very nice. Our waiter was extremely nice and gave us recommendations in the area, as we were just visiting. I got the special (something with shrimp and red sauce) and it was the best Italian I’ve had in a long time.
I brought my entire family for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The look of the restaurant was very nice and the noise level was moderate. The food was excellent, from the garlic knots as an appetizer to each entrée that we had. Every plate was enthusiastically cleared. The desserts were also excellent including the chocolate crème brulee, which I'd never had before.
I'd recommend Gondolier for a wonderful Italian meal!
The food and drinks were all excellent, but then it always is here. We were especially impressed with our server Geoff. He did an excellent job of taking great care of us.
Always great! Can’t beat the happy hour!
Great food and atmosphere. Food was a little slow coming out but they were busy for Mother’s Day and so understandable
My family took me for mothers day. Had a reservation and we were seated immediately. Soo good!
Our dinners were amazing, as usual. Osso bucco was excellent!! Busy night but still felt taken care of and pampered. Wonderful atmosphere and service. The Blueberry Panna Cotta was the bomb!! Highly recommend!
Fantastic italian restaurant. Probably the best in town. Great service, awesome atmosphere! Family friendly. Good beer and mizers. Highly recommended.
Wonderful in all aspects. We just accidentally went the the Gondolier and it was one of those lucky events when you find a place you start recommending to everyone. I had a pizza and my wife had two cutlets. We both considered it one of the best meals we have ever had. My pizza was perfect and every ingredient popped with flavor in my mouth. Our waiter and the onsite manager were attentive, sociable, and just perfect. The chef and kitchen staff were apparently great and the manager said how lucky she was to have such a great staff. Everyone working there sincerely acted liked they enjoyed their work there. We recently had a bad experience at another Italian restaurant in Brighton whose service and food product went much below normal. Doubt this would ever happen at Gondolier. They seem to do it right
We've been going to the Gondolier since our student days when it was on Broadway. Have always loved it, never had a bad meal there. We were eager to try the Longmont location, and found it to be just the same wonderful Gondolier experience. So glad to see a restaurant with long, consistently good meals and service!
This restaurant gem is quickly becoming one of our favorites. We have been here a few times and we have realized that the food is great and the staff is attentive. We really like the Quentino sized wine which is about 1 1/2glasses. Just right.
Great food and service. And now I just need to fill the rest of the review with words
Ole skool Italian. Fresh house made pasta - fantastic. Crab cakes and a special cauliflower fritttes appetizer - good. I enjoyed my linguini with spicy sauce and eggplant was just ok. The bisque was flavorful with housemade croutons.
We have NEVER had a bad meal at the Gondolier! My wife and I took our party of ten to the Gondolier for our birthdays, and we weren't disappointed! The food was SO flavorful and the waiter was prompt.
LOVE THI PLACE!! A GEM in Longmont!
The food was good but their policies are ridiculous. They flat out said you can’t have a ‘to go’ box until everyone is done eating that way we don’t steal the all you eat pasta that was served. I really don’t appreciate being treated like a young college student. Especially when I’m going out to eat with my family (husband and three kids 7- 17). I don’t need to steal $2 worth of pasta from your damn restaurant!! Offensive- I’ll never go back. Respect is super important to me.
The menu has many options. The beet salad was scrumptious and the Linguini Alle Vongole was tasty. Service was very good. All together dinner was enjoyable and we will go back.
