Chef Miguel Rivera has been working in the restaurant industry for over 40 years. Subsequently, around 20 of those years have been spent cooking in the well known Italian restaurant IL Mulino NY, previously located inside of Caesars Palace in the forums shop.

Some amazing opportunities I've experienced include being a part of the Vegas UNCORK'D by Bon Appetit for five consecutive years. Previously, IL Mulino NY has been nominated for the titles of Top Ten Italian Restaurants in the country and Best Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas. Also, the American Academy has graciously awarded my cooking with the "Golden Plate Award". My goal for Gondola is to incorporate new flavors of Italian cuisine from the Las Vegas Strip to your local neighborhood. I look forward to honing my skills in the kitchen and expanding the restaurant to provide the community with more Italian novelties.

Did not actually get to dine here. For some reason, they have reservations available on Open Table that are earlier than their opening time. I had a reservation for today at 1pm that was confirmed but when my party got to the restaurant it was closed. My rating is not accurate as I wasn’t able to actually try anything.

The reservation was made for two celebrating birthdays. I put the birthdays in the notes. There was no hostess last night 4/24/25 and 1 waiter. The chef came out briefly talked to 2 tables then went back to the kitchen. The waiter to his credit was cool, calm and collected despite that he was the only one on the floor. There was no acknowledgement of our birthdays which was understandable due to the short staffing but disappointing to the us. The food was good as always.

If you enjoy quality authentic Italian food, this neighborhood hidden gem should be on your menu. You enjoy a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, with friendly and attentive service. All dishes are made with fresh ingredients, and the cost of dining here is represented in what you come for, the food, not the trendy "I was here" image. Family friendly and enjoyable. Gondola remains our go-to upscale restaurant when craving good Italian food. Thank you again for being in the neighborhood.

Our first visit! Very nice menu. Food was exceptionally delicious thanks to our outstanding chef. Service was quite good - missed a few small things (didn’t offer cracked pepper when the Caesar salad was served, oil/vinegar brought out after fresh homemade buns were finished, had to ask for grated cheese when pastas were served).🤷‍♀️

When I arrived at Gondola, I was a bit skeptical because the exterior appearance didn't impress me. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the interior. The decor was clean, inviting, and nicely done. I ordered a trio salad and four Milanese dishes, and I absolutely enjoyed the meal. Chef Miguel even came out to check on us and see if we were enjoying our food. Having come from New York, it’s not easy to impress me, but I was truly impressed and enjoyed my meal immensely. I would absolutely recommend this place!

We have dined at this family owned Italian restaurant about six times, and the food has always been outstanding. Fresh, crispy salads, addictive bread, perfect entrees, and the wickedly good desserts bring us back often. The strip mall location, Buffalo and Alta, is a little less than ideal, but, once within the soothing decor of the restaurant, that is easy to overlook.

This place is a hidden gem!! Nothing special about the outside but as soon as you walk through the door, it is apparent the place is elegant and welcoming!! The food and service was amazing and their specials are second to none!!! I can’t wait to tell all my friends and go back!!
