Chef Miguel Rivera has been working in the restaurant industry for over 40 years. Subsequently, around 20 of those years have been spent cooking in the well known Italian restaurant IL Mulino NY, previously located inside of Caesars Palace in the forums shop.

Some amazing opportunities I've experienced include being a part of the Vegas UNCORK'D by Bon Appetit for five consecutive years. Previously, IL Mulino NY has been nominated for the titles of Top Ten Italian Restaurants in the country and Best Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas. Also, the American Academy has graciously awarded my cooking with the "Golden Plate Award". My goal for Gondola is to incorporate new flavors of Italian cuisine from the Las Vegas Strip to your local neighborhood. I look forward to honing my skills in the kitchen and expanding the restaurant to provide the community with more Italian novelties.

Lovely, lovely, lovely little restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. No one would ever think to look there but inside, the restaurant is cozy, bright and welcoming. There is plenty of parking available. The best part? The food is absolutely out of this world. Believe all the great reviews. The bread is warm and comforting on a chilly day so have a glass or two of wine to make it even better. The soups were delicious and there is something for everyone. The service was excellent and impeccable. I would highly recommend.

Excellent food. Lobster Ravioli was the best I’ve ever had. It wasn’t too rich. We were there very early so only a few other tables were filled. We will definitely go back

We had a lovely dinner there last night. The food was scrumptious. We had the best Chicken Diavolo I have ever experienced-spicy but balanced. The veal chop was tender and juicy. This restaurant is quickly becoming one of our favorites.

We went to Gondola for my birthday as we read excellent comments about it on Facebook. The staff was attentive and the food was very good. I was a little disappointed as I noted in the comments on my Open Table reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. My wife also mentioned it when we were first seated. While we were there, two other tables were also celebrating a birthday and were acknowledged (not sure if they got a comp dessert or not as they were not in my sightline; heard the "Happy Birthday " singing). Nothing for me. I wasn't really looking for anything, just surprised that nothing was done. On a side note: we had originally booked our reservation for Monday as that is my birthday (10/9). Last week, I got a call from the manager saying that he would have to cancel my reservation as they were not going to be open on Monday anymore. No effort was made to see if another day would work, just "sorry, I have to cancel your reservation". I went back into Open Table and booked for Sunday 10/8. Someone needs some sales training.

Our first visit, but definitely not our last. Nabiha and Miguel were terrific. Great hosts with standout personalities. The good was great. Straight out of New York. The best linguine with clams I’ve had in Vegas. My brother’s lasagna was outstanding. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed !!

Four of us went to Gondola and we all had different entrees. Two had different veal dishes, one had sea bream and one had pasta. All dishes were really good. Service was great and the restaurant is cute.

We had the fig and prosciutto appetizer and the gnocchi special and the crab stuffed shrimp special. Everything was delicious. It’s a wonderful atmosphere with kind, caring people.

Some of the best food I have had in a long time. My wife heard from friend about Gondola, so we tried and we were extremely happy we did. Great service staff, quiet atmosphere and the food is incredible.

What a fabulous local find. What you see outside does not indicate what you find inside. The ambiance is great but the food is over the top . The salmon was moist and very tasty. The linguini and clams in white wine sauce was more than generous with clams galore. We will be back. A must try for Italian food lovers!!

Very good Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. The sauce was the best I have had here in Las Vegas. The chef was trained in New York City and has worked at Caesar’s in Las Vegas before opening this restaurant. Everything about this restaurant is done very well. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment. It is a gem !
