Goldfinch Tavern at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle
Goldfinch Tavern is a collaboration between Ethan Stowell and Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. Named for the state bird of Washington, the American Goldfinch.
The upscale tavern pays homage to the city’s pioneer days, when taverns catered to lumberjacks and sailors alike, providing a place for travelers and locals to both socialize and conduct business, all while enjoying drinks and food.
For outdoor dining, please contact the hotel at (206) 749-7070 for reservations at our Chef's Cabana. Chef's Cabana is our heated outdoor dining area, open nightly from 4:30pm - 8:30pm. Reservations are required.

Mother's Day Menus & Specials
Celebrate Mom at Goldfinch Tavern with an amazing coursed Brunch or dinner by Chef Emmanuel Calderon!
We had great good, inattentive servers, a lots Le located by the bar & entrance to the bathroom which felt like a hallway.
Went for our two year anniversary, and I have a feeling this will be my go to for my birthday later this month. It was absolutely amazing! The staff was lovely and attentive. The food was a fair portion and the smoked onion potatoes were amazing!
Service was professional and friendly. Food was excellent. Ambiance is perfect with view out the windows to the west and the Olympics.
Menu selection appropriate and not overwhelming.
It was perfect! Place, food and service. Cocktails are amazing and so is the food. Service was excellent.
Lovely Old Fashions, exquisite salmon tartar; divine beet / hamachi salad; sumptuous crab cocktail; scrumptious ricotta pancakes.
Our waiter John was amazing. The best service in seattle

Nice place I liked how it was calming
Celebrating my sisters bday at the four seasons, we thought was going to be a top notch experience, we started out pretty bad but service between Bryan the waiter and Chris the bartender exceeded our expectations. Pretty disappointing the oysters advertised were not available but overall it was very special :) my sister owns T’juana tacos! Amazing follow the. On Instagram best ever!
Was excellent all around, food environment, and cocktails. Highly recommend.
Beautiful views and ambiance, perfect for a special occasion/nice date night! I am vegan and they were super accommodating with a plant based menu. I got the cauliflower risotto and it was incredible.
Annoyed...We have had a very solid profile with Goldfinch Tavern, known the staff including manager and key players for years. We made a 6:45 reservation using the app and then called to see if we could come in at 6:15 which they accommodated. We arrived and were grated by a hosted- quite nice but new as I had never seen her in the 5 years we have been coming. She said "great nice to have you in, we have a window table for you...then said no we don't it but have nice table" I said, wait you offered a window seat, now you're asking it away?? She said we have large parties coming so- sorry, I asked if David the manager was in- she said "no, unfortunately we had to let him go due to the pandemic..." Huh? first of all, you're the hostess- "you didn't let him go and likely had no input on that and I'm thinking this could have been articulated way differently. PLUS- you just played with us by offering what is a better table and then telling us "psych..just joking" but here's another table (less disagreeable). Well, we enjoyed a typically wonderful meal but watched as two window tables sat unused for much of the night, THEN watched a young couple get seated in the window table (right in our view) have a drink-DIDNT eat and then left. What the hell? We dine out a ton- I explained to a waiter we know at Goldfinch what transpired and he wasn't surprised by the "hostess" and he actually explained that he saw our names Open Table Profile) on the reservation but then it disappeared- likely affected by me calling in to change the time? Why would my profile not simply follow the change in time- Bottom-Line, the handling of our table (games with not getting a window seat combined with what I would say is horrific messaging about DK the former Goldfinch manager) left us questioning the professionalism at this location. Chris our server was exceptional as are the entire service team- the hostess needs a heck of a lot more seasoning and was just way too flippant for our taste.
Great experience
Thank you
This was my first in restaurant dining experience in a year.
Great food and exceptional service from our waiter; we will be sure to visit again soon.
Very salty. Not as good as I’ve had in the past.
The service, food and environment was impeccable. Thank you!
Fantastic Day! We enjoyed the 3 Course Brunch for our Anniversary and loved it. Delicious food, from Fresh Oysters to Dessert..delicious. Emma, our server, was fantastic and helped make our experience a joy. Our only distraction from a great brunch was the music. A bit too much ‘POP’ for the vibe. We will be back again and again. Glad to be a local and enjoy this great establishment!
The house burger at Goldfinch Tavern is possibly the best burger being served in the Pacific Northwest -- or all of America, right now, for all I know.
As a former professional restaurant critic for the third largest newspaper in North America with an unlimited budget to dine in any restaurant in the world, my claim has perhaps more gravitas than that of a local, passionate, amateur food sleuth.
I have had the Goldfinch Tavern house burger four times and only once did it disappoint. The three other times, it ranked among the most memorable burgers that I have ever had, right up there with the one served to me by Antoine Magnin, owner and chef of Louis L'Ami, in Paris, and the burger prepared from scratch for me by Pierre Franey, chef and food writer for the NYT, who served it to me in my test kitchen. (Both Antoine and Pierre have long departed this plane of existence -- but the memory of their burgers burns on brightly!)
Do NOT pass go, do NOT collect $200... until you have enjoyed the Goldfinch Tavern house burger!
- Goldfinch is taking social distancing in stride, with 4 and 2 top tables and booths generously spaced. No more communal buffet for brunch, though.
They try to push a three course prix fixe brunch with bottomless mimosas, which is fine if that is what you wanted. The a la carte pricing was not on the contact free menu, and I had to ask my server to check prices for me. The process left me feeling that not wanting three courses made me less of a customer.
A regular stand by of mine for a reason. Incredibly relaxing and tasteful ambiance with excellent food.
awesome waiter, awesome food. great experience.
Great experience overall, well organized, delicious foods and cocktails.
Amazing service, incredible food, and bottomless mimosas just kept coming. Brunch is a great deal!
I had the three- course brunch special with bottomless mimosas... Which was an amazing deal but also a bad idea because I had one too many mimosas. For those who can control their mimosa intake though... this is a fantastic brunch special. Four seasons is an amazing hotel and so I expected no less from a restaurant associated with it. The service was great and the reason why I didn’t give five stars is because the desert was okay and sort of a let down. The meal comes with three types of deserts which was a bit much for an already large meal. I think if they only focused on one type of dessert it would’ve been of better quality. The peanut butter crème brûlée tasted good but was a little too rich and I wasn’t a fan of the texture. The caramelized sugar was too burnt and overtook the other flavors. The chocolate type of cookie was okay but a bit dry. Same with the lemon desert, which I thought was the best of the three. It was overall a pretty great meal despite the desserts and since the entrees were so delicious, I’d be happy to come back.
Good protocols for Covid. Well spaced tables. QR code menu. Excellent food and service. Only negative is valet parking during this time. Didn’t like having a stranger in the car. Although they kept windows down to make sure car was aired well.
Wonderful galantines brunch with friends! The 3 course brunch at Goldfinch is hard to beat!
Server not thrilled to be there, bread loaf unimpressive, prices outlandish ($32 for a glass of wine?). But the cheese platter was nice and the chicken entree was good.
There for Valentine’s Day dinner and it was really good. The food and drinks where good
So happy to see them open again Had brunch with 2 of my favorite dishes. Felt safe with 25% capacity and we are both happy to comply with masks on as much as possible. Service was sadly disappointing. I know servers want and should keep distance but I never felt checked on had to ask twice for things took quite sometime to even get water ... I know these are crazy times but it was just very disappointing for the level of service we come to expect there. Even valet was more attentive .
Food was great as was the service. However, when making an 8:00 AM reservation, it would be nice to know that the kitchen doesn't open/serve until 9:00 AM.
Temperature check and masks required upon entry. Was seated very quickly and the service was excellent. The halibut was fantastic and the drinks were on point. 10/10 would come again.
We enjoyed our anniversary brunch there with feta service and delicious food. We felt safe even with indoor Covid dining.
Excellent Sunday Brunch with a view!! Felt very safe - temperature checks as you enter lobby. Hand sanitizer at every table. Well distanced tables. Plan on a designated driver if you choose the bottomless mimosas!
This is my husband’s favorite restaurant, and an easy choice for our wedding evening dinner. Despite the safety precautions and slightly limited menu, we had an amazing meal. Highly recommend for both lunch and dinner.
We did the $55 bottomless mimosa's , for 2 ppl our bill was $145 because there is a service fee. SO OKAY.... Lets focus on the food. It is a 3 course situation but they halved the portion sizes. The flavor was ok. nothing exciting. I had the chowder, and benedict, hollandaise sauce was a little on the runny/ watery side. The chowder was chowder, not much in the way of flavor, it just was. The desserts were cute very creative since it was halloween. Overall the mimosa was the best part and i dont know maybe thats what ppl want to pay for , but it was not worth money. Won't be going back.
Overall- service was great! View by window not so. View of the public storage logo building. Food was awful. Mash potatoes were extremely salty. Chicken dish was overly dry.
We were excited to try GoldFinch based on the community feedback, but we were very underwhelmed. We had brunch with bottomless mimosas. I had the burger and my friend had the pancakes
