Excellent service, great food. Relaxed dining experience.
Wonderful place for sit down lunch on the slopes at a marvelous ski resort. Food and service excellent and the Austrian decor quite authentic and well done. Will go whenever I am in town.
Loved the lamb Loin dish! Excellent service by John and the lovely Augustina.
What a beautiful getaway from the hustle of the slopes and easy walking distance at mid mountain .. Everything was perfect . Don’t miss this magical treat.
A great place. Wonderful food and service as always. We’ve loved dining here every time. Will definitely be back.
We have been to The Goldener Hirsch 4 times now and have always had an excellent experience on all levels. The service, ambiance and food are all outstanding. This is an excellent pick for those special occasions.
We started the meal with their fabulous cheese fondue. Our table ordered the scallops, two had Wienerschnitzel, and an order off the Steelhead trout. Delicious and beautifully presented! Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our meal and our wine!
We have been going to the Goldener Hirsch for years and have enjoyed their consistently excellent food and service. This year, however, they outdid themselves. Their always excellent cheese fondue was over the top amazing as was everything else on the menu. Our server was top notch, as was the front desk staff. We will be back!!
Cheese fondue is excellent but overpriced. The schnitzel was sliced very thin and tough. Was better last year
Extroiddinary dining on every visit. The chef finds ways to make each meal special. Ideal for a romantic evening....good for a ski side lunch/brunch.
Still the best fondue around! Worth the visit just for that. Enough to make a light meal or lunch. Had Wiener schnitzel for main course. Huge portion of tender and thinly pounded and breaded veal over spaetzel. Really tasty. My wife had scallops which she raved about. My younger daughters opted for the kids menu which actually had a great choice of options. They both went with grilled cheese and tomato soup and the soup was so tasty I ended up having it. Overall, great meal, enjoyable evening.
Their cheese fondue is awesome It keeps me coming back year after year.
Nice cheese Fondue rest of the menu items were just ok.
This restaurant never disappoints
By far the best service and food of ANY restaurant in and around Park City. The fondue is amazing to start with and their signature Weinerschnitzel is a must.
We have been coming to Goldener Hirsch for 16 years and it was one of our favorite lunch place while skiing at Deer Valley.
This was our first visit since Deer Valley took over management. Loved the addition of the beef with the fondue but we got two fondues and one was perfect and the other one was too think. Also the wiener schnitzel was tough and the berry sauce was not appealing.
We usually have a leisurely lunch and hey ruched us out after spending $300 for lunch.
Hope they can get their act together.
A tremendous dining experience- our waiter James was fabulous!
We had duck and scallops, and could not have asked for more from either, or our server, Tara, who was attentive and a pleasure. Great meal with elements that threw back to my childhood. Bacon Bourbon Hot Chocolate should be ordered.
This restaurant had a great atmosphere and we enjoyed having dinner until a party of 12 came in and 6 were children. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best atmosphere for a special occasion or romantic dinner.
Not quite the original in Salzburg, where we've been several times before, but very good food and European feel. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant since it is off season in Park City, but that meant good service and special attention from the entire staff and kitchen. My wife and I were both pleased with everything, but hard to fully judge the restaurant without a larger group of people in the dining room. They do need to expand their Gruner Veltliner selection if they want to be considered Austrian - they only have one on the wine list. This is one of those very annoying places on Open Table that calls to confirm your reservation even though it has been confirmed on Open Table, and in this case, guaranteed with a credit card. This is a ridiculous practice used by only most egotistical of restaurants, and I usually cancel my reservation when they do it, but went ahead this time - although I never called back to confirm. Why was it such a big deal for them when we were the only 2 in the restaurant? Whenever one comes to a resort area, you expect to be gouged in pricing, but Golden Hirsch is grossly overpriced, particularly for the off season. We paid about double what we paid at Firewood on Main for a very good meal the night before.
