   Beautiful Sunday lunch as usual and the best cauliflower cheese I've ever eaten. Efficient, welcoming and sincere staff again as always.

   Food was delicious. Disappointed by service. Waited an age in bar to be acknowledged but the food was good and price sensible. Pub is ready for a revamp, especially in the gents!

   Lovely atmosphere from walking through the door, fast efficient service from start to finish, food was beautiful it was my first time there but certainly won’t be my last. Highly recommend.

   Lovely meal,we were a group of five and ate mainly from the set menu..one of us the a la carte..all our food was lovely, especially with chicken schnitzel and donut dessert!!.. Excellent value with the wine discount as well.. Thoroughly enjoyed all the food, have been at lunchtime before, but not in the evening.. Will return..

   Very disappointed today for my husbands birthday. Waited 40 minutes to be served and no one else there. My husbands steak was okay but no tomato or mushrooms just chips. I couldn’t eat most of my scampi as it was wet and soggy inside batter. I ordered and paid extra for a salad and this was just a dish of lettuce. I complained and was told it was a Caesar salad! It was replaced with a mixed salad. The waitress wasn’t very friendly either! Not a good experience!

    Lunch with friends at the Golden Cock, Farnley Tyas was brilliant, everything hot and quality and value for money very good. We will be going again and I recommend you try it very pleasant experience.
