Food is delicious, small portions especially for the price. Clam chowder was great but needed to be thicker, was more of a clam “soup”.
Flavor for everything was awesome though. Juicer was a bit distracting. Overall great environment/ambiance.
Goblin was a lot of fun. We managed to get in on a busy Saturday for a birthday dinner. The service was good. The food was good as well - the appetizers were okay (the smoked salmon was the best), but the cocktails were well made, and the burgers are excellent. Fun environment and friendly staff and patrons. Would definitely go back, and glad we found this, since it’s a little out of our orbit, coming from New Buffalo (but only a few miles farther than going to Michigan City TBH).
Delicious fresh food! Soul shrimp appetizer was well seasoned and perfect size appetizer for 2 people
So I was excited to find a new place to try in the southwest Michigan/Northwest Indians area. My daughter and I loved the charm of the restaurant. It has a great square bar with seating around and some tables in the dining area plus pies for sale and various merchandise.
I have to say that my choice for dinner was not enjoyable at all. It was the portabello mushroom burger. Unfortunately, I found it overwhelmingly bland even with cheese and onions. Something like that really needs to be grilled and flavored up with like balsamic, feta, roasted red peppers etc if it’s not going to be grilled. It was actually the largest portabello I have ever seen. It overwhelmed the bun. It came with either chips or a side of pasta salad. Beware, must love olives as pasta side salad is pasta and chopped olives.
My daughter ordered the burger with the onions-cheese option. It was good but again nothing above average. We also ordered the lemon hummus and pita/crudité. It was not lemony enough-we really did not taste any lemon-pretty bland as some hummus can be, but great consistency.
My daughter loved her drink that was a mule with a cherry vodka I believe and cherry beer?? It was delicious.
I think there are many options on the menu that should be tried and may be the dish we love. It’s a great atmosphere and it looks like once the weather stays warm some outdoor seating. I think it would serve as a great place for drinks and a lite meal.
Give by it a try. We tend to order healthy options so maybe it does not serve that crowd for dinner.
Cute spot on Route 12 across from Beverly Shores. Trendy decor and really good food. Nice patio for warm weather outdoor dining.
The restaurant was very nice , eclectic, different foods than your normal restaurant and very fun to look at the pies and little store they have set up in the middle of the restaurant. Our table didn’t open up when our reservation started but the owner bought us a drink and appetizer at the bar so it was all good. We loved the key lime pie . We will be back !
This place is always amazing. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation; you will delighted with the food, service and ambiance.
Drinks, Apps, Entree and Dessert all delightful. Calm chowder! Root Beer Float! Different variety of items compared to other establishments.
Love this place. Great cocktails good food.
