Delicious brunch!!! Best lemon ricotta pancakes ever!!!
One of my fave spots for breakfast in Santa Barbara. The pastries, chia pudding, and avocado toast are amazing!
Good atmosphere and service (very attentive and polite).
Ate here for Valentine's Day dinner and was very underwhelmed by the meal. Ordered a Caesar Salad without croutons (gluten issue), and added salmon (an extra $10). Was the smallest piece of salmon I've ever been served at a restaurant, on top of plain lettuce with some sprinkled cheese. Would have taken a photo but phone was dead. Left super unsatisfied after about a $150 meal.
Other person ordered a steak and it was fine, but not much better than an $8 hotel steak we had the night before.
Restaurant was only about 50% capacity--seems to be much better vibe during brunch as was crowded next morning we walked by.
Wish I ate somewhere else.
Service was slow and wait times were terrible.
food is okay, very limited menu. They need to figure out some things beyond a pretty patio space.
Great location.. right in downtown Santa Barbara-
Nice outdoor set up !
Our waitress Sophia was wonderful-
One suggestion: you should add at least 2 or 3 Vegan ( not vegetarian) but Vegan options -
Thank You !
Lovely outdoor space and great food
Quite and safe. Tables were over 6-feet a part. We enjoyed our 3PM dinner.
Took recommendation from Hannah Ann Sluss’s Instagram account, thought it was going to be stellar, but overall not impressed. Waited 30 minutes for our drinks, and the food ended up coming out before. After we got food, waited another 10 min for us to finally get drinks. Both food and drinks were just average, nothing spectacular. Don’t waste money going here.
Wonderful food and service in a lovely atmosphere.
Much better than expected (hotel affiliated restaurants frequently disappoint). Very friendly service, charming dinner setting, excellent social distancing, and very good food.
Located in the heart of Santa Barbara's thriving dining, shopping and historic district, it offers dining indoors in a handsome, fashionable setting or in a lovely outdoor, landscaped patio, beautifully illuminated. A varied menu, we had salads, but all was superbly prepared and presented. Truly excellent service and very friendly.
Salmon was very good. Grilled asparagus was awesome.
Great atmosphere. Food was incredible, we ordered the frittata and salmon toast. Both I’d highly recommend. Outdoor dining area had the tables distanced appropriately from each other.
Nice outside seating area. Decent food. Right by Hotel Californian
A very nice place to have brunch and dinner. Not too far of a walk down to the beach. The service was superb and the food was good. But not enough value for your money. A frittata at $15 and turkey sandwich at $16, that wasn't including a side either. But with it being Santa Barbara and the location, I guess I understood why. We really wanted to try Blackbird, but unfortunately it was still closed. The pumpkin spice and chocolate croissants were absolutely delicious with our morning coffee though! And the mango macaron was very unique and tasty.
The hip music adds to the setting that feels like you are in a tropical zone. Menu is limited and main course items were so so but the drinks and appetizers were great
Brunch was exceptional highly recommend chicken and waffles
Food and service was fine but we had to wait 10 minutes extra even with reservations !
They missed our order.
Beautiful courtyard, food was delicious, and service was excellent. A little expensive but expected for the area.
We loved Goat Tree so much we ate there twice on our short vacation. Food, service and setting are all great
Nice outdoor patio near the wharf with great people watching. Food and service is great too.
The best music EVER
I’m not trying to be mean- I want this to be constructive.... but we were seated, given water, and then never checked on again. I stood up and flagged down a random waiter and explained that we were still waiting to be served.... he said somebody would be right over. We waited another 20 minutes before deciding to leave. It was absolutely ridiculous. I understand mistakes happen but I was disappointed because I really wanted that avocado toast.
Totally enjoyed it. The outside seating and atmosphere is outstanding.
We drove to Santa Barbara and wanted to have lunch at Goat tree. The Avocado toast with a side of bacon was amazing! So fresh and a thick piece of bread. Very cute!
Excellent service!
We arrived as a couple for breakfast during the labor day weekend. The seating was prompt and the patio looked fresh. The service, however, was a bit slow, disorganized, and stretched, despite it being an averagely populated area.
We had the avocado toast, which was the highlight of the meal. Everything else - the GT burger, the berry lemonade, the mimosa, etc, were average at best. Not worth the effort or the money.
Note to self: come here for the ambience and not for the food.
The service was very slow. We were lucky a waiter helped us out and took our order after 45 minutes of being seated. Overall great place with great ambiance.
Great local spot
So romantic at night and the food is absolutely delicious! We are breakfast here and came back the same night for dinner!
Loved the outdoor space. Loved the tree lighting, great server, food was good, their cocktail special was AWESOME
Excellent server
Great location for people watching. Life everywhere with bustling intersection and popular ice cream shop next door.
Food was really good. We enjoyed the hummus plate, smash burger, orichette (sp?) pasta with lamb and goat cheese cake. Average pricing for a Santa Barbara (which tends to be high).
Lovely lunch under the palm trees. Good food and very friendly service.
We were pleasantly surprised by the location - loved the outdoors dining among the palm trees all lit up. But even more surprising was the cooking. Everything we had, from salad to main dishes were delicious. The salmon came out perfectly cooked. So was the pasta with bits of pork belly, mushrooms and some addictively concocted sauce. Service was a bit uneven since some drinks we had ordered came late, but once we did receive everything, we enjoyed a lot the cocktails, wines and non-alcoholic drinks.
Very professional service
Friendly staff
Superb food and fantastic choices
Lovely restaurant with amazing patio seating overlooking State Street. Enjoyed the lemon ricotta pancakes and the lavender honey over chia seed parfait.
Very friendly host. Delicious food. Nice outdoor seating area
