   Amazing place! Food excellent great service and atmosphere! Hosting friends from out of town due to a death in the family and I have not been here before. What a hidden gem in the Bolingbrook community! Thank you for great service and not pressuring us to leave since we were there till 9:30. Very satisfied and will be back to eat and visit the bar. Excellent wine too!

   I was looking for a nice experience to catch up with a dear friend. We enjoy pretty and well thought out atmospheres. Great lunch menu. And the service and our server was impeccable. We will be back.

   Really enjoy the bar. Wish Elvis was still there - he made dining there special because he was interested and was interactive. The young girl with dark hair behind the bar is far too loud and obnoxious and not into the customer service part at all. Loved the goat cheese marinara app and loved the salmon too:)

   Nice atmosphere. Food was very good and there were lots of choices. The free take-home pasta was a nice surprise and enough for dinner the next night. The wine was very good and there are many selections.

   It was not very busy when we went on a Friday night so the ambience was very nice and the service was quick. The food is so delicious and the portions are very large, we had plenty to take home. We will definitely visit again, we had a great time!

   Eerily similar to Coopers Hawk but not as well executed. Many items on the menu scream CH down to the pretzel bread! The chive butter was the one thing G&V does better than CH. The wine selection was minimal, I tried 3 different reds and they were just ok. I ordered my G&V burger done well and it was served medium to medium rare. Don’t waste your money on the charcuterie plate- flavorless meat and cheese with pedestrian accompaniments. The desserts are enormous. There were 3 of us and we were originally planning to order the macadamia turtle pie to share until we noticed the price - $19!!!!! We saw it being served and it is gigantic but seems G&V has figured out that most people now order one dessert to share and they’re going to price it up! The salted caramel blondie that we did order for $10 was also super large and very tasty. Would I go back? No - go to Coopers Hawk and have a far better meal.

    Our family went here for our daughter's birthday, first time there. The service was very good and there is a nice ambiance in the dining room. The six of us shared three appetizers, the best of which was the southwest rolls. Two of us had a flight of wine, which were good portions. The wine was average. I had the filet medallions, which were excellent and my husband had the pork chop, which he enjoyed. A couple of us had a side salad before the entree. Although it was a decent portion, there wasn't any variety of veggies on it and very little dressing. Unfortunately, the people who had pasta weren't very enthusiastic. The fettuccine Alfredo was a small portion and the baked penne was mostly just noodles. My son added meatballs to his pasta and their size was almost as big as a baseball (he didn't really comment on the flavor though). They do give you a portion of pasta free to take home as well. A couple of us had the espresso martini after dinner and I highly recommend. Overall, I believe the prices are reasonable and I would go again sometime. BTW, they acknowledged the birthday girl with a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. Nice touch.

    Service was very slow- not the best attitudes- food was ok. However they had a good Cab so may go back for wine but will pass on the food

    So Saturday night at 6 at an Italian style winery. To start out, no Prosecco, no Riesling, no lasagna. I heard the table next to us, no Tito’s no kettle one. Maybe send someone to binnys. I actually felt bad for the servers trying to navigate this hot mess. Italian food was bad. How do you mess that up? Short rib bolegnese was more like pasta and pot roast. It feels like a restaurant in its death spiral. It is a nice room, but needs lots of direction. First try will be our last. Lots of good restaurants around. We were embarrassed as hosts for this dinner.

    The food was not tasty and I was very disappointed because the place is very nice and quiet, I would even say romantic. I got the chicken parmigiana and my wife got the fettuccine Alfredo, both lacked flavor.

    Out of some wine and common beers. Out of 2 dishes by 6pm. Out waitress while very nice was a bit of a scatter brain. Couldn’t remember our orders.

    Bartender, Taylor, ROCKS!!!! Will DEFINITELY go back, sit at the bar and order from there. She was very friendly, professional, attentive and explained things well (it was our first time here. However, once we got to our table and Tory took over, it was downhill. She started out fine but the when she got busier, we were basically ignored. By the time she came back to see how we liked our dinner, we were literally DONE EATING. Never asked us if we wanted another drink (our glasses were empty), never brought us a dessert menu. Just not a good experience with her.

    Great place for a birthday dinner. Server was excellent. You can tell it’s a newer place. The timing was off. Waited a long time for something’s and others came out quick. The vibe is a mix of California/Italian/steak house. The blonde was awesome but almost too sweet. I’d take half of the white chocolate chips and switch them out for nuts. Otherwise food was top notch

    First time trying this restaurant. Overall, we had a nice experience. The brussel sprouts and bacon wrapped shrimp were delicious! Our group tried the pasta, surf and turf, and a sandwich. For dessert, we all shared the blondie cookie/brownie. That was probably our favorite! Prices were reasonable and our server was attentive. Would definitely come back!

    The staff had us at a table right away with some delicious pretzel bread and our wine immediately. The food far exceeded our expectations, everything was hot and cooked to absolute perfection.     Did not seat us as a walk in but as soon as I booked with OpenTable, then took us to a table. There were many open tables. Not sure why they turned us away in the first place? But our server Juan was amazing!

    I had made reservations for an early Valentines Day and this place never disappoints. We were seated quickly and our server was very nice. The food was amazing. We always choose this place for a nice dinner.

    Pros:Enjoyed the fried calamari and crab cakes appetizers. Large portions of food. Cons: the entrees had zero flavor. Server had way too many tables so services was not good. Way too pricey. Very dark inside. Thankful for the lamp at the table. Had indicated on open table when making our reservations that we had 2 major celebrations. Neither were mentioned or recognized. Now word at all from anyone. So disappointed. Won’t return.

    We went here for the first time to try something new for a birthday celebration. The ambiance is lovely and inviting as soon as you walk in. The front staff was courteous and sat us right away (we had a reservation). Our waitress Megan was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was great, and the portions are HUGE!! I was surprised when we got the bill, expecting it to be way higher, especially since we had a few cocktails. It was an all-around GREAT experience, and I would highly recommend this place! We will definitely return :))

    I'm pleasantly surprised. One mishap with our table reservation. However, the service is great. The servers continued to check on our table if we needed water or anything more to drink. Food was between 3.5 and 4. The trio was better than the skirt steak.

    The decor is lovely. The entrees average and the service was not as attentive as it should be. The waitress tried to recover by bringing a free dessert of chocolate covered strawberries which was nice, but we won’t go back.
