We've eaten here many times, because we love the food, service and ambiance, and as anyone would expect, Mondays generally are a slow day. However, whether perhaps not expecting a large party, or just due to poor scheduling, not having enough wait staff, it was disappointing that there seemed to be more concern with the large party than the other small tables of patrons, who seemed to be waiting as we were, throughout the meal. Hopefully they will have taken notice and this will just be an anomaly.
Not good! Put us at a table near a private party that was noisy. Asked to seat at different booth!
It took so long! A couple of people keep on talking about it but nothing was done!
There were a couple of empty booths but they said no on them.
I watched through you our meal. No one sat in at least one booth the whole time.
I order two drinks. The first one had an orange rind and cherry. The other one only an orange wedge!
The bread they gave us! Burnt on bottom!
It was Mother’s Day and they didn’t have a full house! Tells you something!
In all this the manager never came to our table! Seems like all young kids!
Wow way better than I expected! The menu and food was amazing! Everything was great ! I’ll be back!
Loved the whole experience. Had a wonderful Mother's day! Will definitely be back!
Thank you so much!
Food was hit or miss.. some came out cold, my fish was dry but the meatballs and polenta were delicious. Really cute interior though.
My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly and informative when we had questions. The restaurant is ecstatically pleasing.
Pasta dishes looked great.
We ordered 2 entrees with garlic mashed as the side-
Cold and super garlicky.
Server slow to pick up dishes ... from appetizer, salad and completed meal...
No GF pasta offered!
Ambiance was so cute but needs some polish in food and service.
Date with Husband
Wonderful experience. Loved the food , service and atmosphere. We will be back
The food, especially the blue cheese crusted steak medallion trio was exceptional! As well as the chicken vesuvio. The staff is friendly and approachable and does the most they can to ensure your comfort and safety. The building and atmosphere are charming with the area quiet enough for intimate conversation and enjoyable for families as well. I would certainly recommend this facility to all my family members and friends as the food is delicious, the portions more than adequate, and the staff quite genuine in their intent, attentiveness and gratitude for your patronage. If I could provide more than 5 stars, I would as these folks deserve the greatest of compliments!
Had a mother daughter date night and the food was sooo good, the place is lovely and our server Angelica was absolutely the best.
Service was slow. Didn’t appear they had a full staff. Food was...OK. Very comfortable space.
Great service - fun place! Will be back soon!!!!!
The food was not up to par for the price. The drinks was so iced down that there was very little to drink.
Place was empty. After we checked in, the hostess left us for quite some time, came back to answer phone while we stood there, left again, came back, folded carry out bags, cleaned up counter, and then finally seated us.
We had 2 servers and neither seemed to know what the other was doing. The server who brought our entrees was not the server who took our order. The first entree was one we did not order. Somehow they brought five entrées to the table for four people?? The soup that was ordered was never brought to the table. We said we did not want it. When the other server came back to the table he asked if we wanted to have the soup put in a container to bring home. Why would we want to do that?
Elote was not elote. It was simply corn with a little cheese on top. Steak was ordered medium rare but was cooked medium+. Had to ask for a steak knife so meat could be cut.
The menu and concept are clearly a ripoff of Coopers Hawk, right down to the server’s “my pleasure”. Unfortunately, this place is nowhere near the quality of Coopers Hawk. The only reason for a 2 rather that 1 is because the servers were nice.
The place is cozy, the bread and butter they greet you with is great, the appetizer we ordered was also tasty. However our entree was not so good, the snapper fillet was overcooked making it a bit dry if it wasn't for the sauce on top it would have been unpleasant to eat. The staff was friendly and polite, might come back to give the place a second chance.
Staff was exceptional and so welcoming. Wine and food was delicious, especially baked penne pasta. Angie our waitress was so great! She was friendly and was of much help choosing our wine for the night. Thank you Goat & Vine for a great evening!
Been there before, wanted to second check
Took advantage of unusually warm day to sit outside. Attentive service and tasty menus options.
Great food! Our server Abby let us know they were a little understaffed but she was amazing all around!!
Disappointed patio was not open.
First time there - so much was amazing. The only bummer was the cheesecake was gone!
Loved this restaurant. Food and service was excellent. I will definately return.
The food and atmosphere was great the service was mediocre at best they seemed confused
This is truly a hidden gem! If you love Cooper’s Hawk, this is a win-win!!!
Ambiance was fabulous. Food is very good. Very cozy atmosphere.
First time dining a wonderful experience will definitely be back
The service was extremely slow even though there were only 3 other tables seated in the area. The bartender had dirty glasses all over the bar and ran out of wine glasses to serve with. The food came out and some of it was cold and when we asked for water and sauces they would forget to bring it to us. The restaurant is beautiful, it’s a shame that they service and food were so poor.
The place is very nice. Loved the decor and ambience. Our waitress was great. Checked on us, making sure we had everything we needed.
I had the Jumbo Lump Crab Roll and my husband had the Short Rib Bolognese. My sandwich was just OK. Not really jumbo crab, but mixed with something else. It was edible but I expected something different when I hear jumbo crab. My husband however really enjoyed his pasta dish. Pasta was cooked al dente, sauce was good and there was a nice amount of short rib.
We will definitely go back and check out other food dishes on the menu.
Food was excellent and a great price! Friendly staff and very welcoming ambiance. Would definitely go back.
This was our first time here. The place is super cute and we had high hopes. The service was awful! Our waitress had no knowledge about the wines. When asked what the difference was between the white, black and premier she said its low, medium and high? Whatever that means. We asked to taste a few so we could decide on a bottle and it took forever. Our food order took forever! We had eaten our appetizers and waited probably a half hour before she even took our dinner order. They were busy but not that busy. Wine and food was very ok but not good enough for us to return due to service. That’s too bad because it was such a cute place.
The food was truly amazing. For that reason I would give this place another chance. The service was poor. Took 30 minutes just to get a drink. The manager was more than accommodating making apologies and comped us a round of drinks. I don’t know if our server was just inexperienced or the restaurant is still finding its footing.
everything about our experience was amazing! From the food to the drinks, we were not at all disappointed. The quality, cost, speed of service and the server were all AMAZING. She checked on us at exactly the right times and was so friendly and kind. The ambiance was a great combination of calming and energizing for a Friday night. I was super happy with the cleaning and COVID precautions we were seeing; each table got completely wiped down, as well as servers making sure that a glass was set down before either person touched it. Overall a super great experience and will 100% be returning!
Short ribs were wonderfully tender.
Filet trio was cooked well. Horseradish topped was too mild to be noticeable.
Red wine flight did not have enough depth for me.
Everything we ate was certainly tasty, but not exciting. Expensive for what it was, considering.
Food and wine was amazing. Our server Alex was great and knowledgeable about the menu. The all around atmosphere was relaxed and not too noisy. Our table was next to the kitchen and it was not noisy.
Goat & Vine was very nice. It was my second time and both experiences were great. The atmosphere is relaxing and the employees were all respectful and checked to make sure if you needed anything. I definitely would recommend Goat & Vine.
The food was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes...pasta, fish and steak and everything was cooked well! Wine was great.
This was not the experience we were expecting. Restaurant had the feeling of a unpolished Coopers Hawk. The wine was not a feature (had to ask server for insight). The food was not a feature (it was a Coopers Hawk replica, no surprises or creativity). The food and service were good but it is not worth what we paid...it was very average. Positives: General Manager stopped by, good dividers, social distancing. Negatives: instead of asking how was our service GM asked “was food slow coming out of kitchen”. Supervisor stopped by table and asked about two wine glasses that server just dropped off and said “are the glasses dirty”. Feedback: it is not what you say it is how you say it.
I love wine and the wines seem marginal. Too expensive for a less than positive experience. I don’t think we will return.
From the outside and walking in we were very impressed. Gave a Hampton Social mixed with Coopers Hawk vibe. The menu looked promising. However, our $15 bacon wrapped shrimp was 3 jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon that looked undercooked. I didn’t eat it.I brought this to our server’s attention and she kind of dismissed it. Like oh well. I was expecting a bit more hospitality considering the overall vibe of the restaurant. My pasta dish was good, but my husband’s steak dish seemed confused with Mexican flavors, mixed vegetables, and potatoes with Parmesan cheese. It looked messy and honestly like something from a diner. It was my birthday and we planned on ordering dessert, yet our server gave us the check without asking if we wanted an additional drink or dessert. Ok then, probably a sign it was better for us to leave. It wasn’t horrible, but for the price I would have picked somewhere I know the service and food quality justifies the price.
We started out with a wine tasting and there were multiple glasses we just did not finish due to lack of taste and quality. None of the wines were impressive enough to actually want to drink a full glass of.
