First time there. Will go back
The service and food are always outstanding and I highly recommend Goat and Vine. My wife and I enjoy the atmosphere. We have been to many restaurants and often feel rushed so they can flip the table. This has never been the case here, we always feel like “guests” and not just another customer. Getting a buy one get one pasta meal is a great idea. I was able to enjoy my left overs and extra lasagna for the next two days. (Portion sizes are large). I look forward to our next visit.
In the beginning, my boyfriend & I were getting great service. When more people started coming in, our service went from 10 to a 2! We waited an extra 25 minutes before we received the bill.
The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was great. The servings are huge.
Food and service were very good. I was not impressed with the wines. Tried several different wines both white and red, not a fan as they had a unpleasant lingering taste.
I love everything about this restaurant. The menu is great. Never had a bad meal. Service superb....
As always excellent service and food!!
not much to say about ambiance and sound in covid time
food , service and price good
Outstanding food and service! Wine is absolutely delicious too
Great food with a creative approach, very friendly service with just the right amount of attention, lovely interior, great wine list and very reasonable prices. A Bolingbrook gem!
We love dining at G& V
Great food and wine. Our server Katie was wonderful!
Great evening ! Wine tasting a little too expensive but gave a great amt.
Overall very good - great service. Need to work on the social distancing though:)
Great restaurant! So happy we have something nice in Bolingbrook. I will be a regular when the pandemic is over!
Service was very slow
First time visiting. Hostess was very nice at the time of seating. Kelly let us taste a few of your wines before deciding on a bottle. Merlot/Cab blend was really good.
Great wines..we each did a red flight. The Brussels sprouts app was yummy and a perfect size to share. Delicious ravioli dinner and one to take home, what could be better?
Great new spot in Bolingbrook. Food was great and there was good value since the portions are large.
Great food and variety of drinks. Would definitely recommend!
What a beautiful place! The staff was very friendly, helpful with suggestions to try and very attentive!!! Definitely going back soon.
Its was so good we loved it . Its reminded us of Coopers Hawk . Wh loved it and will definitely be back
Unfortunately, our first time visiting this restaurant will probably be our last. All of the food we ate was poorly prepared and unimaginative. Our server was nice but not well trained. The kitchen and the bar were tideously slow to prepared our orders. Which meant our server had to repeatedly apologize for how long it took to get our drinks and our food. We look for new, local restaurants to support as much as possible. Unfortunately we can't justify spending any more money here.
Highly recommend it, everything was delicious!
The food was okay, the service was really good.
Restaurant is beautiful. Service was great. Food was good but not hot.
Was good but was basically a complete knock off of Cooper’s hawk. From the menu items to the wine club membership the tasting room. Beautiful ambiance but I could’ve gone to Cooper’s hawk which was 10 mins closer.
The filet medallions are delicious. I had them with the toppings, but would be good alone. The Southwest egg rolls another tasty item
Amazing food, great service. The patio is adorable with heaters and Italian lights. I can't wait to go back!
We had a great service experience with Autumn. The patio is a great space to eat. Had a couple food quality issues (brown lettuce and under-cooked potatoes), but we've been here a bunch and will continue to return.
The wine sampling was great. Our cheese/meat board came missing a cheese and a meat, and the pasta that we ordered was pretty dry and bland. I would come back for appetizers and wine, but not dinner.
We booked a standard reservation and found out we were in the patio area after we arrived. This was due to a Covid restrictions, but I would have like to have seen the reservation on open table reflect that.
We told the waitress that we were dairy free and our surf and turf arrived with no seasoning or oil whatsoever. It was as if the chef had no clue how to serve snapper or pork chop with anything else than butter. Not the quality you should have when paying for surf and turf.
The waitress had only a couple tables, in fact there were only 8 active in the whole place. Yet service was very slow.
It’s labeled as a winery, yet there is such a limited amount of wines actually available. When we ordered a red wine that was on the premium list at $12, it tasted like the cheapest wine.
Thanks understand the restaurant is dealing with a difficult situation, but they can do a much better job with the people that actually take the time to visit them during this pandemic.
It is a nice, quiet place to eat. The Bar is separated from the main dining room, plenty of Hi-Top Tables available. So, not a lot of Televisions blaring in the main dining room. The outside sitting area is quite quaint. It is a comfortable setting. No specific attire is required, but for a good Date night adventure, business casual can be recommended. A fun , quiet place to be, not expensive, a good selection of wines. My one complaint would be that the food portions are too big. The appetizers usually fill me up. All the Main courses are very good. Reservations are highly recommended. It's the place to be.
We had a pleasant outdoor dining experience at the Goat and Vine Restaurant. The OpenTable reservation included the fact that it was a reservation for our wedding anniversary, although, it did not seem to affect our reservation. We ordered drinks and the Goat Cheese appetizer. We waited a very long time for the Lemonade Prosecco Float to arrive and it was not properly prepared, although it was consumed. A entree issue that we had was that our pasta order was not as described on the electronic menu. The order of Sausage Caccatiore was not served with spaghetti as noted in the menu. Rigatoni noodles were substituted by the Chef, but I would have chosen a different pasta noodle if spaghetti was not available in an Italian dish.
The meal was good except that it was not what was ordered off their menu! I think that if a pasta noodle can be substituted, the waitstaff should be knowledgeable and let the customer make a selection substitution.
The wine was good. Service was terrible! Food was good but sat too long before being delivered to the table.
Thank you to the bartender for helping to keep the table clear and keep the glasses full!
We will probably try again. Maybe just drinks next time.
Beautiful restaurant. Food was pricy for the portion you got.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Maybe in a few months when you aren't so new, but this establishment has a lot to figure out to make it an enjoyable experience.
Beautiful weather. Sat on their beautiful patio.
Food and drinks were excellent but the service was really slow and the restaurant was not very busy.
Roal - we appreciate your feedback - we want every visit to be a great one - I have shared your comments with management and look foward to you coming by again!
Great ambiance and service, food was ok. I don’t think anyone was “wowed” by anything except the Brussels sprouts, which were amazing.
We appreciate your feedback, and am hopeful you will come by again and give us another opportunity. So glad you enjoyed the sprouts!
