   This was our first visit to Gnostic. We took my wife for a Mother's Day treat. It was very good. The food is delicious - full of flavour. The menu is made up of small dishes, so to make a meal they recommend 2 dishes plus a side. For a lighter meal 3 dishes and one or two sides between two people would work.

   Fab wee place with excellent food! My partner and I ordered a few plates and shared them all. I still maintain my tempura prawn tacos were better than his buffalo chicken tacos but to be fair both were great.

   My main issue was I booked the upstairs Lounge to be told on arrival I will be seated in the tiny bar area. I was not for accepting this as it was only due to the fact they had cancellations so wanted to just dirty one area of the premises. They agreed to prepare a table upstairs for us eventually when they realised I was not for backing down. The food was nice but served on cold plates so went cold very quickly. Also was told to only order 3 dishes and a side for two people by the waiter - I would recommend at least 4 dishes and a side or two as I was still hungry! Cocktails were good and decent wine options also. Service was good as they did tend to us well after the initial seating issue. Price wise they aren't out of the way, I would recommend dining here but just be aware of my above issues.

   The food choices were brilliant. It's like big tapas. Cocktails were also great. Service was amazing!

   We were advised to order two small plates each, and were very happy with the food, however there seemed to be only three members of staff and they were under alot of pressure with the demand of a busy restaurant. Shame as it has put us off going back, as the service was very slow because of this.

    Really nice place, food was affordable and very tasty. Great cocktails. Server (from Egypt, didn’t get his name) was working exceptionally hard and was so friendly to all. Nice looking place, bit out of the way to find but very worth it.

    Lovely food but was v rushed as we were not informed at time of booking there was early closing! Also overcharged for drinks but no recourse as i had no glasses - so did not check before leaving!

    Had a really lovely time. The Christmas menu was brilliant and a very reasonable price. The Venison would melt in your mouth, the cocktails were well made and the service was really prompt and friendly. I'll be back and I will be telling all of my friends to go as well!
