Excellent food and service!
Pretty outdoor space, inside was a bit dark. Even though we were outside it was pretty loud. Pizza was very good as was the tiramisu.
Excellent service and menu. Staff were extremely friendly and even brought water and a treat for our Golden Retriever. The presentation of the food was impeccable and it was delicious - and catered well for a mixed party of vegetarians and meat eaters. We will be back!
The ambiance is great! The back garden is adorable. Food was quite good. It was a perfect place for our birthday celebration. I recommend. We will be back soon.
Delicious & wonderful service!! Would definitely recommend!
Amazing gluten-free pasta, great staff, and awesome outdoor seating!
Gnocco is one of my favorite restaurants in East Village. The staff is extremely nice and the food is consistently good. Can’t go wrong with pizza or pasta or anything else for that matter. Looking forward to going back again soon.
My go to date spot
I got the branzino with shrimp, artichokes and sun dried tomatoes and it literally was the best I’ve ever had.
I always like this place! Great pizza! Great ambiance and super casual.
Price is always good without breaking your wallet.
Love Gnocco i keep going back because of the wide selection of great food
The restaurant was practically empty. We were told
When we sat down that we had 1 hour and 15 minutes at the table and that would be it. I found this excessive and really a shame foe a Saturday night where they had plenty of tables. From there the meal was rushed by the waitstaff. Really a shame. I adore this restaurant and this experience was decidedly unpleasant.
Food is fine, if not all that interesting. Service is inattentive. Watch for sneak charges showing up on your bill.
Quick service, food was delicious and their menu also has recommendations for wine pairing! They're outdoor patio was air conditioned and beautifully decorated.
Great overall, just not quite good enough to be 5* (would be 4.5* if it would let me). Ambience inside was nice but patio looked a little nicer. Food was great!
Love that they were able to serve us at 9:45 at night! Found this place late after an event. Sweet staff! Innovative and excited to come back with on purpose because the food was good(could use some more seasoning) and the drinks were cute.
Food was just ok...first batch came out lukewarm, to the point where the cheese in our arancini was still solid.
Great service, super fresh and tasty pizza, and really cool ipad menus!
Food was and delicious as was the wine recommendations. Service is above and beyond, love how cozy this place makes you feel!
First of all the old fashioned was one of the best I’ve had. Ipad menus with previews of food is awesome. All the truffle items on the menu were solid. Prices are what you’d expect for NYC nothing unreasonable. Great time thru and thru
I moved to this neighborhood about two and a half months ago. Since moving, I have dined at Gnocco 6 times. Out of all the restaurants (Italian and otherwise) in the East Village, I keep returning here. The owner is so accomodating and kind, the staff is attentive, efficient, and friendly, and the food is fantastic. The iPad menu with photos and descriptions for every dish and wine is a great touch. Plus, there are separate menus for vegan and gluten-free, so you can get great Italian even if you have diet restrictions. I've come for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and all are equally fantastic, but this place is the best for dinner. Sit in the backyard garden if you can; it's air-conditioned on hot days and the decor and lighting set a gorgeous ambiance. The prices are fair and reasonable for the portion sizes, quality of food, and experience. Overall, 10/10.
Aaaaammazing food! if you love fresh meats , cheeses and pasta, COME HERE!
Despite it being the eve of a holiday I had scheduled a business meeting. I had originally reserved a table indoors, but I am glad we sat outdoors, for it was brighter and more comfortable, I think, than had we sat indoors. The meeting was successful, at least partly due to the pleasant decorations. My guest considered the conversation a success and thanked me for it.
The food was fairly good, but the service was a bit odd. They couldn't recommend wine when we asked questions and couldn't remember which wine was which when it was brought to the table. Food was great but the service was unimpressive. I also asked what dressings they had for the side of mixed greens and they said they don't have dressing... and the apps came out at the same time as the food. Overall we felt very rushed.
Birthday. Ordered Cornish hen with salad and fries. Requested no dressing on salad and no salt on fries. However salad came with dressing and had to send it back. Fries didn’t come until requested later. When they arrived they were sprinkled with salt.
Service was horrible
