   Such a lovely restaurant. Service was excellent and food arrived yucky but we weren’t rushed. Cocktails are really good and the food was fantastic. The Don Gigi pasta was delicious as was the bruschetta with a whole buffalo mozzarella! Even my cappuccino was really good. Would 100% recommend.

   Only one other table in use when we arrived, and they left shortly after, so we just about had the whole place to ourselves. Food was lovely and service was very attentive. We did have a fairly late booking, but I would have expected a few more people.

   The staff were lovely with the right level of attentiveness. Both friendly and helpful. However the restaurant was very cold both the upstairs bar and the restaurant itself.

   Food was lovely, Staff were very friendly, unfortunately it was just a really quiet service so apart from one other table it was empty so there was no atmosphere and it was a little chilly. Would definitely go back, just maybe on a Friday or Saturday night

   Unbelievably disappointed by our visit. The quality of the food was absolutely shocking. All the seafood tasted off, the arancini was totally tasteless and I’ve got no idea how you can get a risotto so wrong. It had no flavour what so ever and the rice was undercooked. The only saving graces were the wine and the really lovely efficient waitresses. Has the kitchen team changed recently? I didn’t complain at the time as we were there for a friends birthday and I really didn’t want to make a fuss and ruin her night.

   Very disappointing, we won’t be returning. The food was bland and wasn’t authentic. The restaurant lacked atmosphere. The decoration inside is beautiful but unfortunately the food and service don’t match it. Never again!

   Dear Alison, We are really disappointed to read this review from someone who told us they are a fellow hospitality professional. We are sorry you felt the food was bland but we were not made aware of any such complaint when the meals were checked. As we are entirely staffed by native Italians in our kitchen we cannot agree that we are not authentic. We are aware the real crux of your issue arose when you discovered that the risotto you ordered was not part of the '50% off pizza and pasta' deal upon receiving the bill and we feel this review is really a disproportionate reactive response to what was essentially your own confusion and is a manifestly unfair representation of our establishment.
