Another great experience here! The staff was wonderful and the food lives up to the hype. Something as simple as mint sorbet was memorable…

This was our second time in Ireland and one of the more important reasons to return was Andy’s refined cuisine. With excellent localization, quiet and relaxed ambient, delicious plates, surprising tastes (as in the beet tartar - from beetroot!) and warming reception, we only wish to return again as soon as possible. Andy deserves 2 stars in Michelin. He now is our preferred chef in the whole world!

We had the most beautiful experience at Glovers Alley. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was amazing. We opted for the tasting menu which was amazing . We ever were allowed change one of the options which suited us beautifully. We couldn't recommend Glovers Alley enough . It was our daughter's birthday and we couldn't have picked a better place we will certainly be back.

What a great lunch experience. Visiting from York - we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding and service excellent in all regards. Well deserving of his Michelin star and a second just round the corner we hope. Andy McFadden was also a lovely host including a full tour of the kitchen and intro to staff.

Ate here with my work colleague on Tuesday night. It was good but not great. The food was quiet good but not up to michelin star class in my expectations. The breads were very good. Warm and crunchy. Wait staff were efficient and performed well. The somieler.... We had the tasting menu. With the wine pairing 255 pp euros. First course. Lobster salad to start was very nice, we got a sweet wine with this. This Was good. Second course was beetroot tartare. Again food was tasty and served with a Sparkling brut with this didn't pair well. The wine was out of sorts with the sweetness of the beets. Third course was turbet and again the wine pairing was not good. He gave us a Kukkoo wine red with fish. Bit of a shock to my Swiss colleague. We both agreed this Didn't work at all. Fish was dry inside and the wine totally over powered. Red with a fish. Odd Spoke with the somilier and he said he had just read the menu before he came to us and felt it would go well together. Not what you expect from michelin star. I was surprised the somilier kept saying he was experimenting on us with the wines selection. In Michelin star the chef and the somilier would usually work together and they would have tasted the food to match the wines. Odd here. Shocked us 4th course was beef sirloin. With various vegetable additions. Not good. My sirloin was chewy and again over cooked. Not medium rare and it was cold. The wine this time worked well. Amerone. A blessing as we were getting a bit annoyed with experimental wine pairing. 5th course was a grinita with sheep's yougurt. Tasty wine was fine this time 6th course was their choclate dessert. Wine with this was little beauty was perfect. We enjoyed the wine. Has another glass of little beauty to finish. Over all it was fine. Not my favourite and I've eaten in most Michelin star restaurants in dublin. I and my colleague were surprised with being experimented on with wines. Pairings didn't match in many instances.
