   Essentially, happy with everything. Only issue we’re the steaks were cooked to medium and not medium rare as requested. We did not advise staff of that as they were still good steaks and enjoyable, just not as enjoyable had they been done as requested.

   I made my reservation a month before and when I arrived at noon for a 12:15 reservation, the young woman at the reception desk told me I'd be sitting at a table on the 'stage'. I looked around to see that there were at least five window tables and one booth open on the water side of the restaurant. It was too cold to eat on the patio. I advised that I didn't want to sit on the stage with a ghastly view of the wrecking yard next door, and she barely acknowledged me or responded after that. I waited for 5 minutes not knowing if she was going to find me something else, and finally they brought me to the open booth. During our lunch only three of the window tables were used from 12:15 to 2:15. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The coconut curry chicken soup tasted good, but there was no chicken in it. The Bahn Mi flatbread tasted ok, but was cool in the middle. My friend got a big pile of greens for her salad and said it was good. She loves going there, but I'm not sure I would again. I usually offer positive remarks, but was disappointed at how I was treated at the reception desk.

   Wonderful ambiance, delicious food, very attentive service. Hostess was able to seat us early. We were going to walk but the wind would have blown us away. I have reservations for my son’s birthday on the 31st.

    The food was delicious and subtly tasty! I had the Kung Pao Bowl and added blackened tofu to it; the flavors complemented each other perfectly, between the coconut rice, the spicy sauce, the rubbing spices, and the fresh, crispy vegetables. My only negative critic would be that the vegan menu is lacking diversity. While what I ordered was amazing, there were only salads and bowls. No pasta, no flatbread, no pizza, no other type of main was available. A little bit more variety would make it for a perfect vegan-friendly restaurant. On the plus side: the location is stunning.

    Enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich but this was my third time going and every time I have gone it was not too busy and the service was still super slow. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere (lighting and music) but wished it didn’t feel like they were trying to stack tables on top of each other to fit people in.

    I have been to the Glo several times and have always found it fabulous. The food is always good. I always order Liberty School red wine which I really enjoy. The service has always been excellent. Last night we had Leena. Previously Aleeshia.

    Always a safe bet to dine here. The food is good and the staff do a good job of moving things along. The place is very busy these days. Even on a Monday there were line ups. Make a reservation to be safe.

    Great time great meals and great service - we enjoyed our favourites including creole chicken, ribs and poke bowl, paired with great wines to suit our individual tastes. I particularly enjoyed the Mission Hills Pinot Noir. Our server Beckah took exceptionally good care of us. Keep up the good work. We will be back

    My only complaint is that we were told when we arrived that we only had 2 hours at our table. We were there celebrating an occasion. So this was a bit off putting.

    Music was too loud, due to this people talk louder. If your are looking for a nice chat with your friends I would use a different restaurant.

    The food was alright but i found for what you get, it was quite pricey. Would, i recommend a friend to go there? There are other places with better value for your food that i would recommend first, than Glo.

    It was our first time at the restaurant as we are new to the Victoria area. I can’t say enough positive things about the restaurant. Excellent menu, price, service and ambience. The meal was so good we decided to try the coffee and desert to see if it was as good as the meal. It was!! We will definitely be back.

    Calamari was outstanding. We were dissatisfied with the Beet Salad (too mush arugla not balanced with other ingredients) and The Buddha Bowl with Crispy beef (beef was soggy and tough). The first time I have been there since Covid, menu has not changed much, quality has changed. Having said that the service was awesome and a great location!

    Our server Joey ( braided hair and mustache) was amazingly attentive, friendly , courteous, everything great in a server!! The noise level was a bit annoying , hard to hear our guests at the same table. Staff was fabulous! My Buddha bowl was mediocre. Too much gloopy sauce The 1/2 price wine was a great deal!
