The service, the food and the environment makes for a very pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is conducive to conversation. The service is excellent and the food is beautifully presented...and delicious!
We enjoyed our brunch and I feel it was the best value for the price!
Perfect lunch with friends, wonderful menu, service and ambiance. Look forward to returning.
Great place for brunch as always! A little on the pricey side though
Not impressed with the dinner menu or the quality of the food. If I go again it would be for drinks at the bar only.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch dining experience in the Glenmorgan Grill at the Radnor Hotel. Excellent service, pleasant and professional server and excellent food! Our order was delivered in good time and we were treated as valued patrons! Can't wait to go back for a meal!
The crab cakes and salmon were very good. Had the cornmeal covered fried calamari because it sound interested. I didn't think it was any different from regular fried batter however it was very lightly fried and tasty so worth ordering. Also they half half price specials until 6 on the apps
I will never ever ever come back to the Radnor Hotel for brunch! You are given a two hour time frame and before the 2 hours was up we were told to get up from the table because someone was waiting. So, should I be upset and offended that we were 4 African American Women and every one around us was Caucasian and you so loudly announced that we were over our time which we weren't!! Once confronted that we were not over our time no one wanted to apologize. I was told to tell the table that they were wrong. Then the lies began oh we made a mistake. I made it very clear that they should apologize to the entire table, not me on your behalf. Customer service is horrible. Careful how you treat ppl. No one from upper management ever acknowledged the issue. The director a tall Caucasian gentleman who looked me in me face never said a word. Please don't go there!!! Stay away! Please make this comment go viral. I will be posting on social media as well!
Update: so I see that my credit card was charged twice as well. Now in addition to the above, one would think that the server would come over and say that she made a mistake and charged the card twice, nope not at all. So, what is one to think after all of this?? I believe that my review is very accurate and I will not take back anything that I said.
Delious food and great service. We enjoy Sunday brunch at the Radnor hotel.
I don't often take the time to write a review but I feel this one deserves it.
My wife and I stopped in while in the area, we were clueless as to where to eat but we did
know we were starving and didn't want to spend $$.
In short, the Burger with a wedge salad was amazing, simple but prepared perfectly and super delicious!! I give it 5 stars PS: The price to value was spot on as well.
My wife had Brussels sprouts prepared deliciously. Here favor light meal choice.
This is a yummy place, great atmosphere and a great value. Do yourself a favor and check out the Glenmorgan Bar & Grill at the Radnor Hotel !
I was quite happy with the service and the quality of the food.
This was the second time that my husband and I enjoyed the Sunday Brunch at Glenmorgan and it will not be our last visit. The service and atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. I recommend this outing to everyone who enjoys a good meal and a plethora of enticing and savory dishes that are quite pleasing to the palate
Visited here for dinner with our daughter after Villanova Parents' Day. Would not typically be a restaurant sought out, but we were influenced by positive reviews on OpenTable and Yelp. Pleasantly surprised by this hotel restaurant that the Radnor Hotel. The menu was diverse, but affordable. The entrees were excellent - my steak was perfectly prepared and my wife's lobster salad was plentiful. Overall very pleased. My only issue was with our server - she "disappeared" for long periods of time during the meal and failed to refill water/drinks. The manager and other servers were very responsive, though, and happy to help. This may be just a fluke of the individual server. Will definitely be back for dinner again.
Had the opportunity to have lunch on Glenmorgan's
Terrace -- very nice as it was a pleasant day. Had their lobster salad--excellent choice!
We always like to get there early for lunch and are very happy to find Maria on duty. But, all the wait staff work hard to please.
This is my favorite spot for a business lunch. People from my work place are scattered all over the area and Glenmorgan is right off of the Blue Route - convenient to almost anyone who lives in this neck of the woods. There's lots of parking, the food is excellent, and there is a good variety of dishes, so everyone is happy. The prices are good, the service is excellent, it's lively enough to feel welcoming and quiet enough for a meeting. No one has to scream to be heard. Love their salads, the grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, chops, etc.. Desserts are to die for. I've also held a dinner business meeting there with 20 people. The restaurant could not have been nicer to us. They will do almost anything to accommodate you. I love this place.
I've been to brunch here twice in 2016. I will definitely come back. I took a pescetarian friend for her birthday and she could not believe the variety of dishes she had to choose. My only issue is that the service on the floor is a little scarce and I had to ask for ice water twice. And the noise level can be high because it's such a large room. But the food choices are fabulous and the quality is good.
My wife and I took a 'maid's night out' dinner at Glen Morgan. Service was friendly and effective. Food was good though not spectacular. Pricing was very reasoable.
The Champagne Brunch is to die for! You will love it. Nice ambiance with a live pianist on a grand piano. Love this place!
Inexperienced waiter, low energy, dark. Needs a little refreshing.
This is a nice but not very adventurous place for lunch. My husband's salad was wet and
he did not receive the requisite five cold shrimp. My lobster roll was good but small and the
french fries were just decent. Our friend's crab cake platter was okay. Service was good.
Doubt if I would return.
I was surprised how the hotel has lost its charm/class.
The feel my party got , was one of a classy diner?
Nothing special in the food department either, good, not yum!
We've been here multiple times for brunch. A lot of food to choose from, especially healthy options which is a necessity. Service is great. Everyone is nice and helpful.
We have yet to be disappointed at Glenmorgan. This time, we enjoyed their salmon and crab cakes, both of whose presentations were a delight. The service was unusually good, and our server managed to time her visits to the table perfectly, without being either too slow or too obtrusive. The only--very minor--negative was the nearby table of ladies whose amped laughter made it difficult to converse.
Had lunch outside-- beautiful venue and excellent
Food was fantastic but we felt like we were being watched and rushed to get out.
Give Excellent luncheon service by Maria...and other staff. The food and beverages are always well prepared . We were there on Friday the 27th of May and it was unusually quiet. On a normal weekday the dining room can be active, but the noise level rarely creates a problem. Just a nice relaxing place for us.
We had burgers which were excellent. The wine was also good.
I came here to celebrate a graduation with a group of 8. The restaurant was busy, but the servers were very attentive and helpful. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. The crab rigatoni and tres leches cake were both outstanding!
I've been to the Radnor Hotel on several occasions for the Champagne Brunch offered only on Sundays. Up until now the visits were exceptional. I was disappointed that they did not have the infamous bread pudding amongst the desserts. But I was very, very disappointed that the lamb offered exclusively for Mother's Day was not on the carving station, but instead in a chafing dish smothered in gravy.
Very so so experience. The food was great and the price was great. Service was good but that was all. We waited. No décor. I would go for lunch but probably not dinner.
Pork tacos had chunks of grizzle in the meat. Very disconcerting. Sent the dish back. The message sent out from the chef was that it was cooked properly. Guess I'm a better chef than him. Will not go back.
Happy Hour apparently overloaded the kitchen & service staff. Food took a long time. Waited long time to get the check, ect.
Great service, food was fine. We got sandwiches so it's hard to say anything about the entrees. Didn't blow us away but didn't disappoint either
Was asked if we could vacate the table because it was needed for another party. Would have like to been able to stay and have desert.
Service was very slow. Forgot things we asked for and totally forgot about us after dinner was served.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating to needs, I ordered the lobster salad but wanted many of the ingredients from the cobb salad, they were willing to adjust an make sure I got what I needed. The food was excellent as well as the drinks.
This was supposed to be a special occasion.
When I made the reservation two weeks ahead of time, I asked for a corner booth or table near the windows in a romantic location because this was my wife's 60th birthday. They ended up putting us in a booth in the bar area, loud and anything but romantic. The waitress came by very occasionally, and it was hard to talk across the table with the noise from the bar And a booth behind us.
We gave this a high rating because the food was excellent. Both the steak and the chicken special we're perfectly prepared.
High marks for the food, low marks for service.
Four of us met for brunch and all walked away happy. Plenty of food choices at the buffet, and the employees at the waffle and omelette stations cranked out the food quickly. Our waitress did a great job keeping the mimosas coming. Fantastic value for the money.
We have been here a few times and have always had a nice meal. The food is good, the service is professional, and the pricing is not bad considering we're on the 'main line'. We live just a few miles away and will be back soon.
