On Sundays, experience The Radnor’s “Best of the Main Line” Champagne Sunday Brunch, accompanied by the sounds of classical piano and an excellent view of the Formal Gardens, while dining in our elegant Terrace Room or al fresco on the Terrace Balcony.
This is my mother-in-law's favorite Sunday brunch for special occasions.
Perfect spot for a business meeting, very friendly staff.
The food was good. The service was spotty. On Valentine's Day, there was a 3 generation family of 15 sitting (?) in the dining room. One of the parents was walking around and throwing the small children in the air 15-25 times. It was inappropriate for a restaurant dining room.
We usually love Glenmorgan, but the service has been lacking terribly, which made the experience very unpleasant. Same food that we ordered 3 nights earlier came out all wrong and very different from the other night. Wait person was very sweet but very inattentive, and she didn't do much of anything right.
We'll be back, but not right away - hopefully things will work out better.
We were seated away from the dining room where brunch was! We were the only ones sitting on the other side of the
Ball room in the bar! We had a78 year old who just had
Surgery and we had to walk across the hall Into Dining room to get food! If it wasn’t for the server, who was very nice,
It would have been a total bust!
Food was great, hot and tasty and prepared just the way we wanted it. Everything was very nice. We will be back!
Everything was absolutely delicious. It is an expensive meal but worth it.
When we arrived it was still early and quiet. We were greeted quickly and our drinks came quickly and orders taken shortly thereafter. Most of us got fish with the Grilled Salmon and Hoison sauce looking absolutely fantastic. The crab cakes were visually fresh with large chunks of crab and very little filler if any that we could tell. As the lunch progressed the noise level picked up and it became harder to hear our conversations, which isn't out of the ordinary. We compensated easily.
This restaurant is spotless and set up in a comfortable way - no table too close to the next. However, it is always cold in Glenmorgan - be it summer or winter (we were there the other day in January). Unfortunately, my selection for lunch was not a good one. Turkey/avocado/bacon sandwich on a seeded roll. It was beautiful and I so was looking forward to eating it. However, the roll as well as the turkey seemed old. The roll was a bit dry; the turkey tasted like it was stored in a container without a lid - it tasted like the refrigerator. The sweet potato fries were overdone, the old bay fries were super salty. We did not complain because we were in a group with two elderlies who were enjoying the outing.
bar tenders need some assistance during happy hour ... very slow service
Service was great. Hamburgers were delicious. Onion soup and tomato bisque were disappointing. Chicken pot pie looked delicious and cooked perfectly but my husband said it was bland.
It is a pleasant space, welcoming, clean, and not too noisy. This restaurant is fine if you are going to a meeting at the hotel and need a place to eat. The food is decent, but not at all inspiring or interesting. Our server was excellent, very friendly and helpful.
We went on January 5, 2020 for brunch. Met family members. The brunch was delicious with many good options the room was nice. Someone plays piano, but it is hard to hear over the din of talking. My problem is with the French word number one the non-functioning reservation system, and to wait staff that we experience seemed incompetent.First of all it was nearly impossible to speak with anybody on the phone when making a reservation for brunch. I called three four times. Each time I was directed to a voicemail for the brunch director. I left my request on voicemail to have two weeks before brunch. I never got a callback .Finally I made a reservation at the bar and grill, thinking at least we can be seated there and have the brunch from the main front dining room. I put this request in the comments on OpenTable. That I had hoped to be in main dining. Room. I still never got a callback. I had to call again. I spoke to someone in the bar and Grill room.Eventually someone was able to tell me that my table happen transferred to the dining room as I had requested. At the table, The waitress comes over. She asked who would like coffee. She pours the coffee. She asked if you would like cream.we said yes. She said that she would bring it when she had a chance. By that time, the coffee was cold. The hot Water for hot tea was delivered when my family wax’s at the buffet. By the time we get there the hot water was cold. We paid the full price for the brunch which includes service fee. We asked to order wings to go . Another waiter came to take that Order. When the wings came, they were added onto the bill as expected, however it was not wings but boneless ch8cken bites. The restaurant and brunch are lovely. It is not cheap. I don’t understand how such a potentially nice place could have such a non-functioning reservation system.
Place was dead. Food marginal
The service was horrible!!!!!!!
Time for reservations was 7:00 pm, but we were seated at 7:30 pm
Time we got our appetizer was 8:30 pm- tomato bisque soup was cold and wrong salad came out- had to be sent back
Had to ask over other servers for requests. Our server was never available
Due to the poor quality of service and the long delay- the manager came out to apologize and gave us our appetizers free.
The same occurred for the table next to us
This restaurant clearly has major issues. One of the worst choices we have made in years was to eat here
We love going to the Glenmorgan for our family get togethers. The brunch has soo much variety.
Wonder service. We enjoy our brunch each time we our there
The cheese steak quesadilla is literally the best thing on the planet
Noise level ie happy hour tough to handle, food was ok but price and quantity requires a favorable adjustment! Service was good deserving a 20 % tip! Wine prices per bottle was excessive for the quality of the Reasling ie average vino! It’s you call folks but I would check out the area before you lock in on your dinning choice!
Great time with close friends. Piano music lovely. Food always great.
Service was very slow. Food quality was inconsistent with one dish having to be returned and credited. Our server was very nice and accommodating but the whole experience was not that great. I think it could have been lack of available staff to handle a party of 9 people.
Delicious Onion Soup, excellent lunch
Glenmorgan has slid a bit over the years. Still probably the nicest place on the mainline for a buffet brunch, but that is a low bar as there may not be any others - the food is ordinary at best. Little details like grapefruit juice being sweetened "grapefruit juice cocktail" are disappointing at this price. It is nice that the servers will bring toast from the kitchen if requested (there isn't a toaster on the buffet) but surprising that english muffins are not available. Having to ask for coffee refills shouldn't happen either. Chilled fish like smoked blue fish, whitefish, and poached salmon were soggy and had a bit of a fishy odor - and the shrimp are definitely smaller than they once were. The eggs/omelettes were fine as were the bacon, sausage and home fries. And the mashed potatoes are quite good as was the fresh fruit.
The grilled cheese sandwich on Texas toast and french fries were great!
Loved the appetizers and the Radnor burger was off the charts great. Pretzels and loaded tater tots great too. It’s a very simple restaurant with nice decor
Would like to see more appetizer choices and more attentive table service
Good business lunch. Like to see a simpler menu for lunch - maybe some more straightforward salads.
We were nine people celebrating a 90th birthday lunch and everyone was pleased with the meal the atmosphere service etc. I will return.
It was my first time at the Glenmorgan for bunch and I would do it again. I took my best friend of 40 years there for her 58th birthday. We were very impressed ( witch is hard to do for us).
We are already making plans to take our other friends there.
The food was delicious. Our waitresses were very pleasant. We always enjoy ourselves
We've eaten here many time and had a delightful and good meal. They may have a different chef and are making the food offering more casual with smaller portions.
I was disappointed with our visit this time. We have had multiple events here; everything from weddings, showers, funeral luncheons and your regular Sunday brunch. We were sat at the first table next to each of the food tables so lines would form and they would wrap around our table, with people using our chairs to lean on. When we asked to be moved to another table they said they couldn’t despite having many empty tables. We also had to flag down our server every time we needed something- he never came back over to check on us. He did try to help us by physically moving the table himself which was very nice of him. I think the food quality has gone downhill a bit as well, there was barely any fruit and a lot of the food had been sitting there and looked picked through. I can’t say we will be back any time soon, which is sad because this was a favorite place of ours to go.
Was a nice night out. We were a bit surprised as there was barely any patrons for a Saturday evening. Service was very good and food was good. Nice place overall!
Lunch was good and server was prompt and courteous.
I and two friends ate there for lunch. My friend ordered a salad and I and the other friend had the lobster roll. We all thought our food was very good. There were very few people there because it was the day after July 4 and everyone in the nearby offices were probably taking the rest of the week off. We appreciated the quiet as we could talk and hear each other. The room was cool and we were glad we brought sweaters. We would eat there again.
Service is always friendly and welcoming. The cost is extremely reasonable.
Service could have been a little more attentive—waited quite q while before someone came to take drink order. Also no table cloth on our table.
As always, great food and service.
