Glass House is a fresh new seaside restaurant / café that aims to regenerate the pavilion building and surrounding Redoubt Gardens. Returning it into a destination for community and visitors to eat, meet, relax and celebrate.
It is dedicated to bolstering both Eastbourne’s community and heritage, showcasing local produce and culture whilst allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the spectacular views of our beautiful seafront.

Courteous staff, very helpful with making minor adjustments to certain dishes. Love the fact you can see into the open kitchen. Atmosphere & ambiance great. Clean & very reasonably priced breakfast. Mains & cocktails yet to be sampled. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

I was very disappointed with the glasshouse breakfast bacon rasher was very poor quality just basically fat, was supposed to receive toast but that was white like stale bread, not worth £18

We ordered the Lobster club sandwich. What it wasn't was a sandwich it came in a white roll (brioche maybe) which wasn't what I was expecting. We also ordered a dressed crab to share. We arrived at 1.00 and by 1.45 they were trying to clear our plates. There were only a few tables occupied so they weren't in a hurry for us to leave so why rush us, particularly as we were still eating the crab. We were asked if we wanted anything else but decided against it and went elsewhere for dessert. I think the club "sandwich" for £18 was expensive and won't go again or recommend it.

Great location. Beautiful venue. Modern decor. Most importantly amazing food. We liked it so much we went twice for dinner and breakfast and both were delicious, well presented and cooked to perfection. Really interesting chilli margarita cocktail too. Friendly fast and efficient waitresses. Very good. Would definitely go back again.

Great views and nice ambience with unusual selection of good brunches but service is poor to non existent - staff are pleasant if and when you can get their attention but we actually had to keep getting up from our table and going to the bar in order to place orders etc

Thought that it was poor value for money with 1 slice of black pudding costing £3!! 2 eggs on the hash would have been better VFM. Service was good and staff lovely though

We wanted to sit by a window, young lady kindly went off to clean and re lay the table. Just after, a man turned up and said the table was not laid, we must sit elsewhere. I had to explain that the re laying was in progress. Staff, please speak with each other, and don't tell people where they should sit in a virtually empty restaurant, just lay the table, simples! Restaurant was empty as everyone was outside, lovely day. Food lovely. But my mushroom and halloumi hash very small, would be better as an entree. Apart from these minor issues, overall very good.
