   When we showed up, they told us they don’t look at open table reservationsj. So our table to was not ready but luckily they were not busy and able to accommodate us. I don’t recommend making reservations on here, just call. Wish they would not have the option to make reservations on the website/ app.

   The hostess and waiter were nice and accommodating. When we were seated, the table next to us were upset at the 1 1/2 hours they had been waiting for their order. The staff were apologetic and another staff member made contact with them as well trying to make amends. We weren't in a huge hurry, so I didn't really notice that from start (drinks, appetizer, entrees) was in total about 2 1/2 hours. Our waiter also apologized stating something with a printer and the kitchen not getting our order. Honestly, we were happy for a peaceful quiet place (by comparison to other restaurants near by) But when paying the check, we heard yet another apology for the slow kitchen. Looking around, it wasn't busy. For the price, the food was not good. The same marinade was on the calmari entree, the meatloaf and the pork chop. A disappointment for sure. I had a little of the calamari, a bite of each of the entrees and we boxed up the rest. Shortly after getting home, severe GI upset. We threw away our $100 leftovers not knowing which was to blame. The following statement for anyone visiting downtown/ocean drive: ocean drive has become a hangout for folks with loud cars and racing. We had a lovely view of the water and witnessed so many vehicles racing...did not see ONE police car in the 2 1/2 hours we were there. With families visiting, horse-drawn carriages on the waterfront...only a matter of time until these hot-rod guys wreck and hurt an innocent bystander...not to mention it makes the area feel less safe overall. :(

    When we arrived for our reservation. The hostess seated us. About 7-8 mins later she came back to us and said we have to move to another table. I asked why, she said because the next waiter up didn’t serve that table. We moved to the other table. When the waiter came, I asked why we had to move and he said probably because he was next in line for a table-but we shouldn’t have had to move. He then asked if we wanted to move back-we did. The waiter was very gracious in getting us our drinks and bread, and then taking our order. Approx 1/2 hour after being seated, he came by and made sure we were ok. One of my friends asked how much longer for dinner and the waiter said another 10-15 mins. I looked around and there were six tables, two of which were seated after us. My dinner was very good. The waiter did the best he could, but the rest could’ve been a lot better. Bottom line, after seating a customer, don’t make them move to accommodate your staff, your staff should accommodate your guest.

    The food was great, but our server never came back until we were done with our food. She literally took our order brought our drinks and then towards the end brought us our ticket. We were there alone on a date night at first so we thought it was going to be great, but then ever couples that came in was sat right next to us. They were loud and so it kind of ruined the mood. I don’t think I’ll go again for dinner. But let me say, breakfast is to die for. It’s a lively hotel breakfast but that Banana Fosters French toast blocks out all the noise with its great taste.
