What an awesome restaurant. Amazing food, great, authentic service, and perfact ambience.

Only thing and this is minor. I didn't think the lemon tart was outstanding. It was a tart and smallish and I shouldn't be so critical, but I thought portion should have been bigger since it is shorter in stature than let us say a pie or cake.

The wait staff is superb, the food is divine and I love the ambiance!!

Our first outing back to the Glass Onion in several months due to Covid-19. We were not disappointed! Food, service and overall ambiance was as we remember. We shall be returning more often for both lunch and dinner. The Glass Onion is a real jewel in Weaverville!

Seating is still limited (social distancing) so reservations are highly recommended.

The Glass Onion has been one of our favorites since it opened 5 or so years ago. Its food is consistently foody worthy. My monkfish entree was a little dry this time, but caesar salad and coconut cake were up to their excellent standard. We are grateful to be able to again enjoy dine-in at GLASS ONION!

We had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was professional and friendly. The menu as broad and accommodated our dietary restrictions very easily. Our service was quick and gracious. The wine as delightful and appropriate for our meal. The price was just right. We will definitely be back!

Glass Onion is always outstanding - excellent service, delicious food, and a menu that never disappoints. Be sure to arrive hungry. Everything is delicious!

Everything was great about the Glass Onion. We had not one complaint. Highly recommend it!

Food was phenomenal. A mountain gem.

Great food and service. Only complaint is that they did not enforce customers putting masks on when leaving their table to go to bathroom or exit establishment. It was unsettling and uncomfortable especially if people coughed walking by our table. Will return eventually but not now.

Literally the beat Caesar salad ever. The swordfish was amazing...perfectly seasoned and cooked and served with flavorful mashed potatoes. My niece has the angel hair with shrimp and loved it!

We go often. Excellent menu options and delicious main dishes. Sometimes the purées and sides need a bit of attention, but if they’re not to your liking, the salads are fabulous.

Consistently excellent food, incredibly great service-thank you Ally! Good wine selections. One of my favorite places to dine outside of Asheville.

We dine here several times a year so there was no doubt where we would go for our anniversary. Had a corner table, an excellent bottle of Frogs Leap Zinfandel at perfect temperature, goat cheese salad and crusted calamari for starters. The evening specials were well prepared and not overpriced. The almond cake desert was the topping to a memorable dining experience. This is the reason why Global Onion, despite being located in the small town of Weaverville, is one of Asheville’s top rated restaurants.

Food was excellent! We had made reservations are were seated very promptly. Service was great as well.

Lovely restaurant with very fast service and delicious food. The scallops were delicious and presented beautifully as was the chocolate cake for dessert. There is a slightly tighter seating arrangement due to the smaller size of the restaurant, and the noise level could be thrown off at moments by other patrons, but still, a very pleasant meal that I would be happy to return for again.

We had an amazing 20th wedding anniversary dinner. The food was incredible. The wine was amazing. The tiramisu was one of the best we’ve had. All in all a wonderful experience and we will definitely go back again for other special occasions.

Their food is always very good as is their service. The scallops are still my favorite and the garlic rolls are the best.

The food here is absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. The garlic rolls are to die for. Great service and quaint atmosphere. A great local place to visit when you are in the Asheville area.

In the Asheville/Weaverville area? This place is a must. Suggest reservations, as it is smallish and cozy. Wonderful food, drinks, and service. I've been here a couple times now and it does NOT disappoint.

Family gathering. My wife and brother and his wife out for the first time in a year together. We wanted to take them to the Glass Onion - they had never been. Awesome evening, awesome food as experienced every time we have ever eaten there and awesome service. Had a wonderful memorable night. Thank you.
