Enjoyed everything about it. We got the hummus, guacamole and finished out with the tiramisu. All to the ambiance of the lit up empire state building.
The Glass Ceiling is a decor and customer service gem! Space: Beautiful. Hostess, Server and General Manager: Friendly and Attentive. Wine-based Cocktails and Wines by the glass: Lovely. Food: Good
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Wish they had tea and coffee and a bit more of menu options.
The service and space were both impeccable!!!
Drinks were really pricey and not that great. Space is beautiful (especially for the neighborhood), but not really worth it from a food and drink perspective. Service was so-so.
love the energy there and the food was amazing. definitely need to come again with a big group of friends!
There was no alcohol and they told us they didn’t have french fries. 0/10 experience. I would never go back. Weird elevator to get upstairs. The weird wine cocktails tasted terrible and it was very expensive.
Food and drink choices are extremely limited and quite expensive. Its a nice spot but I wouldn’t go again
Cool space, bachelorette party-level drinks. Wine markup is exorbitant.
The place is beautiful , and the waiters judge people who takes photo. The place was with a little people and the waiters rush as with the bill. I did not understand why. The food and beverage was really good. My friend observe that has little options.
Very great location for a any night situation, friendly staff ! Professional, Great drinks ,foods and music. High recommend
The waitress was perfect, she was knowledgeable with the menu and drinks. The service was excellent
limited menu and then they were out of items, slow but friendly service
The aesthetics were lovely. The music was good. Not too loud but still lively. They didn’t have half of the items on the menu both food and drink wise. What we could get was definitely not worth the price. There was one waitress to the entire restaurant and though it wasn’t that busy it they could’ve used at least 1 more. Overall it’s a cute place but a lot of room for improvement.
Waited 20 minutes after being seated to be served. When told it was last call at 8.30, we tried to order food, and they would not bring it.
The food was terrible and very expensive . I do not recommend it to anybody
The most amazing atmosphere and the best host and service.✌🏼
They only have wine and beer, but it was an excellent brunch
Non alcoholic bar!
Service is fair
First off the music is WAY too loud, the open area is adorable but the level of music is on a day club vibe and it’s just not conducive if you want to hear a person more than a foot away. So we moved to the outside perimeter so we could hear each other. When we sat down it took about 20 minutes before anyone got out drink order and it wasn’t busy so that was a rough start. Then we went to order, planning to have dinner there, and they were out of more than half of an already very limited menu. So we ended up having to go to another spot after to fill up because we were still hungry. They don’t have a liquor license yet so it’s beer and wine and wine style cocktails. We ordered oysters and didn’t realize until we were driving home that they never showed up and they we in fact on our bill so all in all it was a fail and I had to cancel my future reservation I had booked for a business happy hour because they’re just not quite ready for that and I can’t risk it being subpar. Cute vibe and interior is pretty but the chef needs to learn how to order appropriately and the staff has to get it together for them to survive in NYC. I’ll give it another shot in a few months and report back.
Service was terrible. Food was great & their drinks are always tasty! Have been here once before and had a wonderful time — hoping this time was a one-time thing.
This is a place that has a lot of space for improvement and potential. The space is lovely, the view is great, not very noisy, the food and drinks were good and the waiters are very nice. I think it still lacks a bit of employees, there were only like 2 waiters for a lot of tables, which made the service a bit slow and with no time for attention to details. Other than that, it could become a very very good place.
I decided to try this place with friends after reading reviews, so I wasn’t expecting much. The place is beautiful but like other reviews say the food is not worth the price and neither are the drinks. They do not have a licor license yet….but serve wine? I was confused. The servers look like they were doing their best. But not well coordinated. No small plates to share, no napkins and no pen to sign the receipt at the end. Overall not worth it.
Sat us on wet chairs, food presentation was horrible, drinks were average, and service was slow.
Overall really great time and would come back! Service was very slow but I think it was more of a staffing issue. But other than waiting 2 hrs for dinner it was great!
Terrible experience. Upon arrival, they couldn’t seat us because they were “closed for a private party”
The food was bad. The service was worse. The drinks were mediocre. All in all this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The server forgot to place our food order. This is fine. People make mistakes. But after correcting this we still did not get our food for over an hour and my meal still did not arrive until we notified her. She had a horrible attitude about it even tho we were understanding in the beginning. They did not refill our water until we asked (and it was VERY hot out). And after all this only the meal that was forgotten twice was comped. This place has been promoted highly on tiktok with its pretty drinks in bird shaped glass ( which only the influencers get as our drinks did not come I those even tho we got the same drinks). Do not go.
I only lasted 20 mins there. Out of the twenty mins the sever came ten mins later with attitude. When we went to order nothing was ready and said I’ll come back so you can pick something else. The drinks were so nasty. The Mamosa tasted like cheap wine for the price of it. The sangria did not taste any better. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. The experience was horrible.
Restaurant was very hot and we were not seated in a good location
I came here for a after work drink and came to learn that they don’t have hard liquor just beer and wine, which is a little weird for a NYC rooftop bar.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. I went for my birthday and was incredibly disappointed. I got there at 7:30 and did not even receive a drink until 8:30. Then the waitress finally came over and we asked to order food, but she said it was last call. The waitress also kept leaving the table before taking everyone's orders and wouldn't come back for quite some time. When the food finally came, it was incredibly mediocre at best and we had 20 minutes to eat it before the manager asked us to leave. When she asked, she had not even gotten our check. We were polite and respectful the entire evening even though the service was absolutely horrific. After the meal, one of my friends went over to the manager to tell her about our experience. She was very polite and mentioned that she is also a server. The manager could not have been NASTIER. I have never seen someone in the hospitality business behave as immaturely and rudely as this manager. She faulted us for not mentioning something sooner, denied telling us to leave the restaurant, and dismissed our feedback. Overall, awful experience. Do not come here. You will be disappointed and leave with a horrible taste in your mouth.
Horrible service was insane. One waitress working the entire place told us one minute and didn’t come back to put rest of our order in. Place shut down at 9pm. Forgot which cards were ours had to ask us. Charged us the wrong amount because was confused on what table we were then switched it. Only took our order ran away and we didn’t see her again until one of us had to walk up to her to ask if she actually put our order in.
This is one of the most beautiful spaces in the city and i loved the ambiance and set up of the space. A friend and I came out for dinner before she left town and I knew she hadn’t been here. The menu is so limited and the prices don’t equate fo the value. The food could have been more flavored but for $250 we walked away and went and got Thai around the corner because we were still hungry. Nice space and beautiful spot but the food needs improvement if it’s going to be served at that price point.
Was mot the best and don’t have a lot to offer was disappointing
Okay this place is cute for pictures but the drinks are deceiving and most of the items on the food menu were not available. I am sure how a restaurant operates with NO food. Terrible experience because of that but I guess if you go for drinks it is ok.
Please offer more vegetarian options.
Ernie was superb!
It was hot outside and there was little to no air conditioning. We were sitting near the entrance to the outside where the door was left open more times than i can count. the food was ok, but not great. Would have appreciated to have known they did not serve hard liquor or cocktails before I made the reservation.
My friend and I arrived at the restaurant early and hardly anyone was there. But yet, they sat us at the worst table possible in the terrace right next to the entrance door and the service station. Asked to move inside to another table, but took the waitress 15 min to let us know that she would move us but she would have to move us back again in 30 min when their reservations arrive. Inside was empty and we thought her offer was ridiculous. We decided to stay where we were as we didn't want to move again. Their reservations didn't arrive until we were ready to leave about an hour later or so. We could have enjoyed our brunch much better if they just moved us.
The whole vibe wasn't great. The menu wasn't great either and we had a hard time selecting. We actually wanted to leave but cus we had to put our CC down for $25 per person, we had no choice but to stay not to be charged their penalty.
Overall, just really bad experience there. We would never go back!
First of all we arrived from out of town about 45 minutes before the restaurant even opened we were the only ones there and they still allowed us to come in and pick our seats. They even served us drinks and provided appetizers while they continue to set the restaurant up. It was a great experience I will definitely be recommending it to my friends that travel from LA to NYC and will definitely be back.
