Ireland inspires us at Glas. The vibrant landscape, the people, the food. And the unsung heroes of Irish food? Vegetables. That’s why we’ve made plant-based ingredients the star at Glas. Eating out should be about enjoying exciting, eclectic flavors, complemented by a carefully curated, innovative menu of wines and drinks. From small bites that are satisfyingly big on taste to the so delicious you won’t let them share sharing plates, you will find plenty to love at Glas.
Great to have vegan option with higher level of quality.
Staff very attentive and friendly .
Would highly recommend.!
Fantastic restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly. Perfect night. Will definitely return very soon
Fantastic to have so many options for vegetarians! Gorgeous food and lovely staff, will be back again!
Such a delight to find a restaurant to cater for plant based diets I’m Vegan my husband Vegetarian! Food service and atmosphere all very good would highly recommend.
Beautiful food, beautiful setting and location, friendly staff and very good value
Brilliant service with delicious food. Also love the decor and ambience
Excellent restaurant with a great atmosphere and beautiful food. The service was a little slow but staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
The food was delicious. It was great value for money and the staff were very friendly!
This is a stylish restaurant. The food is presented beautifully but the flavours could have been improved and more distinctive. With a little more imagination and experimentation they could be onto a winner, as Dublin is soo ready for a good vegetarian restaurant that offers food hard to produce at home and that is reasonably priced.
Brillant food, lovely service, nice atmosphere, great value. Only one vegan dessert that looked a bit thrown together but other than that, couldn't fault it! Will definitely go back.
Obviously this restaurant is only newly open so of course there will be teething problems. The fritters for starters were lovely, the cauliflower ribs were a bit disappointing as they were just chunks of cauliflower covered in sauce. The Eton mess for dessert felt like a rushed job and was tiny. It was disappointing as it was not all crushed up like a regular Eton mess and the little fruit pieces in it were like tinned fruit. I think for a more upmarket place like this they could have used a plant based ice cream instead of the standard sorbet we always get as vegans. Service was extremely slow and inattentive. We had to constantly call the waiters over to get menus etc. At the end our bill was wrong and it took 3 attempts to rectify it. Charged for things they had forgotten to bring us. It is a beautiful restaurant and feels trendy but also unnecessarily stuffy too which could put people off. This place has so much potential but the menu needs work and so does the service and atmosphere created by those working there.
The dinner was great success. Two of us vegans and another 2 not, but enjoyed dinner equally. Good choice on the menu, the black garlic aioli was delicious. Wine choice great and service was attentive.
Great room, lovely staff and sensational food. Sensational enough to convert the most carnivorous steak addict
The food in Glas was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded our expectations and we enjoy the whole experience.
Amazing setting and atmosphere. all the starters were fabulous. The mains were slightly more disappointing and could have been hotter but overall, a very pleasant dining experience and would recommend.
Very tasty, original food and a lovely atmosphere.
Amazing tastes , great food , great service
Love Glas and have been a few times! My fritters were “stodgy” in the middle. The lovely server offered to replace them but I was hungry and didn’t want my husband to wait for my new order as his mean would have been cold. Had them before and loved them. Will try you again regardless! Hope the menu continues to change and evolve as well!
Lovely place, great veg food. Scallion mayonnaise was amazing.
Service was outstanding.
Lovely atmosphere, delicious veggie food and wine!
Great upscale vegetarian/vegan option off Grafton St. and reasonably priced. Good service. The Sweetcorn & Jalapeno Fritters were delicious.
Incredible food and wonderful price, very considerate staff and super fresh ingredients!
For my first outing to a Vegetarian / Vegan restaurant this was a total eye opener. The staff were exceptionally warm and helpful and the interior of the restaurant very stylish. We were a little concerned that we might not have enough to eat and so ordered three starters. They were very good indeed and we needn't have worried. Two excellent main courses later and we weren't able for pudding. The surprise of the night was the cost - a superb evening and excellent value. We will definitely be returning.
Creative and elegant cuisine ! So tasty ! In a beautiful decor !
I have been a veggie (and often times vegan) for nearly 40 years. Hands down, this is one of the best meals I have ever had. I had so much choice (a huge rarity) and it wasn't the typical Goats cheese salad, tomato pasta or risotto to choose from.
I couldn't choose a wine so I was brought three different wines to taste and my God they were all delicious. In the end I went for the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and it was heavenly.
My son who is a confirmed meat eater loved the food (he had the chilli non carne) and said he didn't miss meat at all. In fact, he wants the recipe :-). The dips to go with the chips and sweet potatoes were fresh and delicious and I now need the recipe for those.
I would highly recommend Glas to non meat and meat eaters alike.
Great meal in convivial room nice booth at back for catch up with friends
Great to have a classy veggie restaurant in Dublin
Fantastic food and ambience. High end vegetarian dining with great vegan options and good prices.
Gorgeous setting and excellent service. Food was very pleasant and interesting but I'm sorry - I still missed the meat/fish options!
Staff and service were great and the restaurant was very warm and inviting. I had the Jalapeno fritters for starters which were quite dense and I thought 3 was a bit too much for a starter. Followed by the risotto which I didn't like at all - the flavour was very bland and needed salt. We didn't go for dessert.
I would give it a second chance and try the chilli no carne.
The food and service was amazing! Great place to eat clean and yummy food!
First visit to Glas and will definitely return. Food was delicious and such amazing variety. It's fantastic to finally have a restaurant in central Dublin that serves only vegan and vegetarian food. The variety of dishes was spectacular and with so many options it leaves me wanting to return in order to try them all. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was calm, cosy and inviting. I would definitely recommend booking a table in Glas
The only criticism I would have is the lack of variety on the menu. We were disappointed to find that the lunch menu was exactly the same as the early bird menu had been more than a month ago. I would like a bigger choice and a menu that changes every few weeks, and then I would go and eat in Glas more often.
Wonderful imaginative food, delightful service, perfect for a chat because no loud music. Will definitely be back.
Glas was fab, can't wait for my next visit. The food was outstanding
So so good! Nice to have a more elegant veggie restaurant to be able to attend. Definitely back soon
This is the best vegetarian/vegan meal I have ever had. Can’t recommend highly enough. We were there New Year’s Eve and the staff were fantastic as was the ambience. The portions are on the small side but this is a gourmet experience of the highest class. Not cheap but worth every euro. Five stars. Now if only they would open in Washington DC.
Great food atmosphere and service
Will definitely return
Beautiful food, lovely service and charming decor. I was dining with my wife, and both of us were very happy with our starters and mains - all the food was delicious. We are not vegetarian ourselves, but were intrigued by the restaurant and wanted to try something new. However, we were rather let down with the desserts. I will definitely be back here, but will skip the dessert course next time.
Lovely meal, great vibe, good service, felt a little bit rushed at the end but didn't mind as we weren't ordering dessert anyway.
