Friendly service, nice outdoor seating. The buffet is $29 and includes omelets ($22 individually), coffee ($8), juice ($8) and pancakes. Worth it until I had a homeless man follow me and walk right up to the buffet and start eating with his hands. He left before they could escort him out, but I’m not sure they replaced the food. I opted for the huevos rancheros which were excellent.
Augusto was outstanding!
Nice spot to eat before heading over to events after dinner. Would recommend reservations as the place is busy if you do not have one.
Terrible experience! We didn’t receive some of the items we ordered, my steak was over cooked, potatoes cold... overall horrible service. I’ll never return.
Weird choices for hotel restaurant, not a kid friendly menu. Wagyu hamburger meat, not necessary - seems like a way to overcharge for a burger. Pasta with fennel & sausage was bland. Had to wait a long time for our check.
We came to Glance prior to attending a concert at Staples Center. It was a great experience! The food was good, the ambiance was terrific (we ate outside), our server was wonderful. We will come back again!
Wedding anniversaries dinner before concert at Staples Center
Always enjoy meetings here, good for business gatherings
I dined at Glance several times last week and found it to be an oasis in a sea of chaos! The service was friendly, professional and timely. The food was very good. I will come back here for sure! Please thank the Glance team for being AWESOME! Carter
Don't let the valet guys scam you into paying more money, even if you have the ticket validated.
The food was GREAT, and the service was world-class. I loved the warmth from everyone except the scam that was the valet
If staying at the Marriott, this restaurant is the only call you have. The food is good but the staff are thin and during "rush hours" it is difficult for them to attend to all the tables. It would be nice for fellow staff to help each other....some did but there is a need to work as a team. Food quality was good!
wait staff was superb. menu includes plenty of light appetizers ideal business meetings or pre-dinner social gathering in the hotel lobby setting. great lunch spit, highly recommend the fish tacos; lots of fun and creative cocktails for happy hour
Seating was informal and comfortable. Food was very good with everything being taken to an extra taste level. Waitress was always near and responsive. Good restaurant for 4-6 small group.
Only eat here if necessary. Overpriced hotel food. Terrible service.
The service was fantastic! The food was delicious and the decor as well as the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. Definitely check this place out.
Avocado toast was great as was the cocktails. Cesar Salad needs better croutons. Salmon was terrific. A good place to dine before a Staples Center event.
Delicious food and excellent service
The food (The filet mignon, salmon and more...) is served in the perfect point, my appreciation. The service is outstanding... and likely in your language...
Going to a concert at the Microsoft theatre after dinner
The food here was awesome. We stopped here before a concert at Microsoft Theater, which is extremely convenient because it's right next to it. The food and cocktails here are outstanding. It is a hotel lobby restaurant so that's why I gave it four stars, but it's still a great place.
The soup was pretty doggone good but the steak was amazing for a restaurant inside a hotel. Flat amazing.
ordered food, came prepared incorrectly, took food back returned 8 minutes later and food was not redone just had items i didn't want scrapped off. The Manager, when told of this, came with new food in hand, many apologies and didn't charge for my meal. The manager and server were the only good thing about this restaurant
Always a pleasure seeing Albert and Veronica. Was an added bonus seeing those tall, attractive basketball players having a private brunch. Keep those pancakes thin and delicious!!!!!!
I thought that the portion size for the price of the salad and the miniscule ingredients was quite poor. Also, I added salmon to a salad and it was rather gross (and I did tell the waitress). it is annoying to pay alot for a salad where they are stingy with the lettuce and other non expensive ingredients...
Anniversary and pre concert dinner
Some reviews pointed out that it is noisy as it is in the hotel lobby. And they are right! One of my least favorite things about a restaurant. But our experience pre-Staples concert was very pleasant. Salmon was very good. Surprised by the "white sauce." I think cauliflower based. Would have it again. But Green Salad was blah. Cocktail good, and server Ismail was excellent. We sat in the back area and it was a tad quieter. Too cold for outside dining and area was closed. But, years ago, when this was a different establishment, we did eat outside and it was a fantastic option.
Visited Glance for dinner during a conference in downtown LA. Food was very good, service a little slow, but overall a good experience. I had the Charcoal-infused Avocado Toast and Beet Salad. Both were delicious. I would eat here again without hesitation and recommend to anyone!
Fabulous breakfast and service! Avacado Toast was great!
Great place to dine while at JW Marriott Los Angeles! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, but this one should not be overlooked. Short but great wine list made selection easy. Crispy brussel sprouts and avocado toast were fantastic. And do not miss the house made warm blueberry pie. Worth it!
We dined a second night because it was so good.
Always a pleasure dining here. Veronica is the best waitress ever. Albert is very consistent with greeting me by name and with a smile. The only thing you aren’t consistent with are your pancakes. Some days they are perfect other days they are overly thick, hard, and not the pancakes I fell in love with that made me begin coming here. Otherwise great place and I have made it my every Sunday brunch
The Chitarra Pasta was insanely good. As good as any pasta dish I have eaten in Italy. Hotel vibe is cool.
Great location at LA Live close to Staples Center. Good food and cocktails. Great service
Food served came over 20 minutes after ordering. Served cold , had to be returned.
Service was remarkably quick and attentive.
I am always greeted by Albert with a smile. My waitress Veronica was amazing and is always amazing. I have make this a weekly gathering amongst friends and sometimes different boyfriends. I have never been disappointed and if there’s and issue it’s fixed with a smile!
Chris was amazing. Great recommendations!
Consistently delicious! Great service too.
We picked this restaurant because it was convenient, but what a great surprise. We sat outside. The table was comfortable and private. Our server, Ishmael, was perfect. Attentive but gave us time to enjoy our meal. There is a nice variety on the menu, making this a great restaurant for a group. The desserts were beautiful. If you go to LA Live and want a nicer dining experience, this is the place to go.
We selected Glance based on reviews on Open Table and location for proximity to Staples Center. We arrived early and they accommodated us after they took care of reservations before ours - understandably. Carolyn, our server, was AMAZING. From the recommendations for a starter - the Poke - to the meal - Chicken - she was SPOT ON for a great meal. We found the Poke to be delicious. The pieces of tuna, avocado and coconut were all the same size, which made the flavor balance perfect. The Taro chips were an awesome addition and it was the perfect starter. We then had the beet salad and it was a great balance of bitter and savory and sweet. The chicken dish was sublime with amazing flavor and crispy skin and moist chicken. We also enjoyed dessert which was very good, too. The cocktails were great - my old fashioned was perfection in a glass. We did this as a date night while our kid was at the Staples Center for a concert and we would go back again, too.
The food was good, our waiter was attentive
