Visited Glance for dinner during a conference in downtown LA. Food was very good, service a little slow, but overall a good experience. I had the Charcoal-infused Avocado Toast and Beet Salad. Both were delicious. I would eat here again without hesitation and recommend to anyone!
Fabulous breakfast and service! Avacado Toast was great!
Great place to dine while at JW Marriott Los Angeles! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, but this one should not be overlooked. Short but great wine list made selection easy. Crispy brussel sprouts and avocado toast were fantastic. And do not miss the house made warm blueberry pie. Worth it!
We dined a second night because it was so good.
Always a pleasure dining here. Veronica is the best waitress ever. Albert is very consistent with greeting me by name and with a smile. The only thing you aren’t consistent with are your pancakes. Some days they are perfect other days they are overly thick, hard, and not the pancakes I fell in love with that made me begin coming here. Otherwise great place and I have made it my every Sunday brunch
The Chitarra Pasta was insanely good. As good as any pasta dish I have eaten in Italy. Hotel vibe is cool.
Great location at LA Live close to Staples Center. Good food and cocktails. Great service
Food served came over 20 minutes after ordering. Served cold , had to be returned.
Service was remarkably quick and attentive.
I am always greeted by Albert with a smile. My waitress Veronica was amazing and is always amazing. I have make this a weekly gathering amongst friends and sometimes different boyfriends. I have never been disappointed and if there’s and issue it’s fixed with a smile!
Chris was amazing. Great recommendations!
Consistently delicious! Great service too.
We picked this restaurant because it was convenient, but what a great surprise. We sat outside. The table was comfortable and private. Our server, Ishmael, was perfect. Attentive but gave us time to enjoy our meal. There is a nice variety on the menu, making this a great restaurant for a group. The desserts were beautiful. If you go to LA Live and want a nicer dining experience, this is the place to go.
We selected Glance based on reviews on Open Table and location for proximity to Staples Center. We arrived early and they accommodated us after they took care of reservations before ours - understandably. Carolyn, our server, was AMAZING. From the recommendations for a starter - the Poke - to the meal - Chicken - she was SPOT ON for a great meal. We found the Poke to be delicious. The pieces of tuna, avocado and coconut were all the same size, which made the flavor balance perfect. The Taro chips were an awesome addition and it was the perfect starter. We then had the beet salad and it was a great balance of bitter and savory and sweet. The chicken dish was sublime with amazing flavor and crispy skin and moist chicken. We also enjoyed dessert which was very good, too. The cocktails were great - my old fashioned was perfection in a glass. We did this as a date night while our kid was at the Staples Center for a concert and we would go back again, too.
The food was good, our waiter was attentive
This was a business meeting lunch. The menu was a bit limited in selections, but overall the atmosphere was nice.
Going to a Lakers game and have been to a number of restaurants in or near LA LIVE, this was a reasonable choice, in the JW Marriott, not too crowded and price OK for the area. A number of food choices both lite and fuller
Allowed ourselves 1 3/4 hours to eat prior to a Laker game. The food was mediocre, the waiter continually recommended his favorites and tried to upsell us on items (while we didn’t care what he liked and hadn’t solicited his advice), and we waited for a 2nd glass of wine and dessert which never came. It looked like there were plenty of wait staff to cover the tables so didn’t know what the problem was but had to go search for the waiter to pay so we wouldn’t be late to the game. Truly this place is more like a coffee shop casual atmosphere which seems to think it is fine dining. Will never go there again.
Tuna poke, avocado toast and wine are killer good!
I have often eaten here before Lakers games and have enjoyed the food and service. I didn't give a recommendation for Vegan food, though I am grateful that you've added the impossible burger to the menu. Excellent food, good wine and good service.
Food and service were great.
WE had the DineLA menu. Food is good, but it took a bit long time to wait for the food.
Great food and friendly service in an elegant setting. Works well for business lunches.
Lunch meeting. nothing worth mentioning.
The greeter was super nice, but the restaurant was pretty empty which had us concerned on a busy night before a huge concert. When our food was served, we knew why. It was not good. I had the salmon which was uncooked and on a mixture of faro, apples and walnuts and some unidentifiable sauce. It was barely edible. We also had an overcooked shrimp appetizer and a bland pizza with nothing but cheese and soft dough. The only highlight was the dessert, a banana cheesecake. Worth getting for sure. With the same chef and food, and very high prices, I would not go back.
Our server was wonderful. Great recommendations for food and wine choices. Nice location right in LA Live. Fish specials were very tender. Worth a visit!
Some food was delivered cold and server was absent. Location is okay.
Ever eaten a cold tamale ? It’s as good as it sounds.
