Gladstones offers a menu plucked from the very ocean it overlooks, serving modern renditions of classic dishes. In its typically relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, there's something to satisfy every palate. Whether you're at the raw bar, the lounge, the dining rooms or the grand patio over-looking the surf, it's commonly agreed there's no better place, either up the coast or down, to enjoy fresh seafood, a Mai Tai or a sunset. Excellent service and delicious food. The table location was perfect to take in the most beautiful sunset. Ambience was great if you’re after a casual dinner at the beach.

I would definitely recommend Gladstones on Pacific Coast Highway to a friend. The food and drinks were amazing. I absolutely loved the to go foil wrapping of the leftovers. Dinner was pricey but well worth it.

Gladstones is a perfect spot for a celebratory meal or special occasion. The scenery is amazing, the food is delicious and the drinks are great (particularly the bloody Mary's!). The prices are too high for Gladstones to be a regular spot but for a special occasion it is not overrated and I would recommend.

Overpriced for what you get. Incredibly average service. If you’re going to spend that kind of money there are much better places one can go for seafood. I would not recommend anymore.

Loves this restaurant. Right on the beach, was not smelly, was clean, everyone was very friendly. Had two little ones that were running around and no one seemed to care. Greatest thing ever. They do have a play area for kids and hopscotch. The sand was literally at your feet.

We went mostly because of Gladstone's reputation; this place was a "must-go-to" a couple of decades ago. I would say being right on the beach is the biggest draw and the thing they charge for. The food was fine, but not memorable. Service was also fine. No real objections - just didn't think it was worth the cost of most of the entrees. Fortunately, they do have clam chowder and a few less pricey options.

Always a “must go to” for us when rolling thru the LA area. It’s simply a wonderful atmosphere right at the Pacific shoreline, great food & drink and the most beautiful LA sunset (it’s free though). Will return next time 100%

A very fun venue on ocean with beach front, great food, service, and picture perfect spot to watch dolphins dance in water and sun sets.
