Welcome to Door Artisan Cheese's Glacier Ledge Restaurant. Chef Lawrence uses local and sustainable ingredients as much as possible. Through his "small plate" concept, you can try and share different tastes from around the world. Most of our menu items are gluten free or can easily be adjusted to be and we have several vegetarian and vegan options.

You can also enjoy a session cocktail, beer or wine at our bar!

Everything was perfect! We made a reservation on Open Table and from start to finish everything was excellent. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the hanger steak. Because it is a smaller place everything is fresh. We also had an excellent appetizer which included crusty bread and 4 different spreads. The portions were big enough so that we were full but not stuffed. :) would definitely go again. I would recommend making reservations as the restaurant isn’t that big.

The small plates were imaginative as we experienced new flavor combinations. We enjoyed the shared plates. Each dish was well prepared and presented. The service was wonderful too. We look forward to a return visit.

Some of the most creative menu items in norther Door County, beautifully presented, superbly prepared. This was a brunch on a whole new level.
The Beet and Buratta salad was flavorful, the Avocado Toast was elevated in both taste and appearance, and the Crab Cakes Egg Benedict were amazing.
The wine selection is quite nice, and the mimosas and the Sake Bloody Mary were a nice compliment to the meal.
Glacier ledge has become one of our favorite places to et, and we will remain regular customers

Excellent cuisine and Aistus was a very attentive server. Every plate was delicious...wish they weren't out of the scallops because I bet they would be great!

Service was wonderful, but when we walked in and saw noone eating at 1 pm we should have know. Looking for lunch and ended up paying 85.00 plus tip for the only true meal option. Price was never given but most menu prices were 13-20 Was shocked at 35 a plate. This is dinner prices not lunch. Drinks were flat and meal was not prepared to order for either, but they did offer to put it back on the grill. We will not be back unless the menu changes.

I’m so sorry you were disappointed. We specialize in tapas style dining, and offer larger plates periodically as specials. The ribeye you enjoyed is a heritage breed beef from highly regarded Linz meats, carried in the finest steak houses around. (Hence the price) I hope you will return to try some of chef’s international small plates- they rarely disappoint

What a fabulous experience. We traveled from milwaukee to the door. The menu was a twist on international cuisines. Every plate was outstanding and better then the next.

Hats off to the Chef.

It’s a must experience in the Door.

We have wanted to check out this restaurant as we visit Door County every year. Missed the hours last year. Love going to brunch and having a good variety. Waitress mates some suggestions that we took and we were not disappointed. Great presentation as well

It was so nice to get out and try new food. Chef did a wonderful job with my sautéed rib eye with smoked tomato butter. The little “have a taste” morsel before dinner was a real treat. Light fresh greens and a nice cheese with walnuts! The waitress and bartender were delightful. I’ll definitely go back real soon. The Rickshaw Pinot was a nice addition. A new favorite wine.

Always delicious creative entrees. The crab cakes were awesome! So were the steak bits with avocado, roasted potatoes and more. Whatever we order is always a pleasant surprise.

Server Peg was attentive but not overbearing.

We were happy to finally get an opportunity to visit Glacier Ledge!! The decor is very nice, and we look forward to coming back in the warmer months when we can sit outside and enjoy a few glasses of wine on the patio.

The wine we had was delicious! My husband had a Zinfandel, and I had a Pinot Noir. We liked them so much, we purchased a couple of bottles to take with us from the retail shop on the other side of the building.

We LOVED the shrimp, arugula, avocado, yam, citrus vinaigrette salad - please don't ever take that off of the menu. I was tempted to order a second one I liked it so much! I enjoyed the yams - prepared vastly differently with the grilled, sliced yam in the salad with a somewhat meaty texture, and the puree with my scallops that you'd expect from a sweet potato.

While I enjoyed the scallop dish, my scallops were a little overcooked / chewy, but not so bad I wouldn't eat them or order them again. I didn't even mention it to my server as I didn't want to waste them. The flavors delicious especially when all eaten together with the bacon jam and the puree.

I was disappointed in the cheese curds, especially as a Wisconsinite and being next door to their beautiful cheese shop. The curds were greasy - and I did inform the server, and they were removed from our bill. I wonder if it was the odd time of day we were there and the oil was not hot enough - that it somewhat pooled in the breading. With the quality of the rest of the food, I would look to give them another chance - and the tomato jam with them was good - with a different flavor profile than I expected.

All in all, a very good experience, and we will return.

I have dined at Glacier Ledge several times over the past few years and have always been delighted by the food and service. The ambiance is relaxing, the staff are courteous, friendly and professional, and the menu offerings are innovative and delicious. I recommend Glacier Ledge to all who appreciate fine dining.

Went with the cheese plat with meat, an excellent variety. Nice gas fireplace in the center of the place , nice ambience on cold days (or nights). The small plates were bigger than I thought and all good. A good selection of beers.

Excellent food and attentive service. We ordered four small plates (our server’s suggestion of three plates was correct) and we thoroughly enjoyed each one: roasted cauliflower, comfort tacos, Vietnamese pork belly and hanger steak. My husband has unique dietary restrictions and most everything was healthy and could be made gluten-free. While not a complaint, two observations: (1) we had no issue with our seating at a high top in the bar but the lighting was too bright and (2) while each small plate was brought out in rapid succession, we would’ve enjoyed a more leisurely dinner. With that said, we’ll definitely return.

We were promptly seated and served beverages. Our waiter was very busy, but patiently answered our questions and took our order. We ordered 1 cheese curds, 2 hanger steaks, 1 crab cakes sand 1 scallops. First, the scallops and crab cakes were served, I was told there were 3 scallops on the dish, I only received 2. The waiter said one was large!!??!? 15 minutes later the cheese curds came out. Then it took another 15 minutes for the 2 hanger steaks to come out. Food was very good, just not very timely and the scallops were not plentiful.

Our server was fantastic. The menu had a Mediterranean focus, not my favorite, but good. The Mexican street corn was in expected in the menu, but was the best I have ever had.

They offered indoor seating, hard to find right now in Door County. Setting was very clean and they clearly took precautions for social distancing.

The kitchen did a poor job of timing our meals. I had a crab cake special, my dad had the pork belly, my mom and husband had the hanger steaks. My dad and I finished our meals before the steaks made it to the table.

The food was elegantly prepared and presented. It tasted wonderful. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. The plates are meant for sharing which allows you to try more dishes. The desserts were amazing and all prepared in house. The ambience in the restaurant was modern and inviting. The patio dining off the back of the restaurant had a lovely view! We will visit Glacier Ledge
Restaurant again on our next trip to Door County!
