Welcome to Door Artisan Cheese's Glacier Ledge Restaurant. Chef Lawrence uses local and sustainable ingredients as much as possible. Through his "small plate" concept, you can try and share different tastes from around the world. Most of our menu items are gluten free or can easily be adjusted to be and we have several vegetarian and vegan options.

You can also enjoy a session cocktail, beer or wine at our bar!

I have dined at Glacier Ledge several times over the past few years and have always been delighted by the food and service. The ambiance is relaxing, the staff are courteous, friendly and professional, and the menu offerings are innovative and delicious. I recommend Glacier Ledge to all who appreciate fine dining.

Went with the cheese plat with meat, an excellent variety. Nice gas fireplace in the center of the place , nice ambience on cold days (or nights). The small plates were bigger than I thought and all good. A good selection of beers.

Excellent food and attentive service. We ordered four small plates (our server’s suggestion of three plates was correct) and we thoroughly enjoyed each one: roasted cauliflower, comfort tacos, Vietnamese pork belly and hanger steak. My husband has unique dietary restrictions and most everything was healthy and could be made gluten-free. While not a complaint, two observations: (1) we had no issue with our seating at a high top in the bar but the lighting was too bright and (2) while each small plate was brought out in rapid succession, we would’ve enjoyed a more leisurely dinner. With that said, we’ll definitely return.

We were promptly seated and served beverages. Our waiter was very busy, but patiently answered our questions and took our order. We ordered 1 cheese curds, 2 hanger steaks, 1 crab cakes sand 1 scallops. First, the scallops and crab cakes were served, I was told there were 3 scallops on the dish, I only received 2. The waiter said one was large!!??!? 15 minutes later the cheese curds came out. Then it took another 15 minutes for the 2 hanger steaks to come out. Food was very good, just not very timely and the scallops were not plentiful.

Our server was fantastic. The menu had a Mediterranean focus, not my favorite, but good. The Mexican street corn was in expected in the menu, but was the best I have ever had.

They offered indoor seating, hard to find right now in Door County. Setting was very clean and they clearly took precautions for social distancing.

The kitchen did a poor job of timing our meals. I had a crab cake special, my dad had the pork belly, my mom and husband had the hanger steaks. My dad and I finished our meals before the steaks made it to the table.

The food was elegantly prepared and presented. It tasted wonderful. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. The plates are meant for sharing which allows you to try more dishes. The desserts were amazing and all prepared in house. The ambience in the restaurant was modern and inviting. The patio dining off the back of the restaurant had a lovely view! We will visit Glacier Ledge
Restaurant again on our next trip to Door County!

Our server, Kyle, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. As I was deciding between 2 dishes, he suggested the salmon bites which were excellent! There was outdoor Live Music which was a nice touch - not overbearing my loud. We all enjoyed our food and drinks!

Would not suggest going there. Manager was rude. Food with not the best. Had to get pizza after a $75 meal. Order was wrong. And when I confronted the manager about being unsatisfied she was very rude. Would not suggest this restaurant

It was new looking and staff was friendly, however, we could not believe the portion sizes. The cost of the food was outrageous and the portions would not be enough for a young child. We went to ship wrecked afterwards to fill up on appetizers because we were still hungry and in a state of shock for how much the food costed at Glacier Ledge. I’m still in shock!

Really think the menu is good. We had the shrimp special and Japanese style fried chicken. Shrimp excellent. Think chef should spice up the chicken by maybe adding wasabi to the mayo dip or something. Only dishes we haven’t raved over this year have been chicken. Like the ambience. Staff very good. We’ll be back again.

Had lunch on a Friday afternoon on the back patio. Absolutely lovely. We love tapas. The food was OUTSTANDING! Favorites were the hanger steak with roasted corn (phenomenal) and the roasted beets with burrata, citrus, and pistachio. Had to keep myself from licking the plate. Our server kept us waiting juuust a little bit after one of our plates, but made up for it when we got free dessert (cherry crisp) for our anniversary. HIGHLY recommend Glacier Ledge.

We were not aware that it’s a limited wine and beer place with unusual small plates. Our server was great, but we actually googled for a happy hour place.

Arrived for lunch and were the only people on the patio - kind of awesome for social distancing😉. The hostess was friendly & let us pick our table. Weather was gorgeous and our server Izzy was delightful. He was very knowledgeable about the menu & specials. Food is tapas style which we enjoy - has pork belly - delicious flavoring & not too fatty, tuna poke was fresh & refreshing. Also tried hanger steak, salmon, cheese curds & schwarma. All were flavorful as well as very visually appealing. And, not to forget the sour cherry mimosa which was delightful. Will definitely be some place we’d go back to when we’re in Door County.

Had a really great experience here. Patio was beautiful, food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend the cheese curds, pork lettuce wraps and grilled cauliflower!

We were still hungry after we ate here, because we decided to go with the 3 little plates and share them. We definitely needed about 5. The food was fantastic, but there could have been a little more. The tastes were soooo good!

I found this restaurant through a Google search looking for a great restaurant in Door County. Glacier Ledge did not disappoint! The food and cocktails were outstanding as was the service and outdoor seating. We would definitely return to this restaurant next time we're in Door County.
