Was an awesome experience! Would definitely do it again!
The food is unique and nicely presented. We had the mahjool dates stuffed with a spicey blend, a great empanada, the flatbread with prosciutto, a great cheese, and a salad blend. We also had two steak meals, and the Valmy nachos. Beer and wine selection good. Perhaps the menu is a bit off putting and exotic, but it’s really nicely done. There’s a bar menu with sliders, empanadas, and lighter fare. Nice outdoor seating. I say give it a try, you’ll be proud of yourself for trying some unusual delicious dishes.
Always a wonderful restaurant with great ambiance.
Interesting small plate food, well prepared and individually served in random order. My husband and I shared 3 plates and a dessert, which was adequate for us. We sat indoors and avoided the inevitable evening insect invasion.
We sat outside and enjoyed the sun, wine and great food
The meals we had were excellent. The chef made classic dishes with a new twist by using fresh and unexpected ingredients, such as pomegranate. Everything was delicious.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were all very friendly. We were offered a dessert as we were celebrating a birthday, unfortunately we were too full to have one. We will definitely go back and will recommend it to others.
Ate big lunch so wanted good but not too much
Hidden gem. Small plates allow for variety. If you come to Door County you have to eat here.
We ate on the patio on a very nice day. The staff were wonderful. We enjoyed the food, all of which was quite good. I was a little surprised that the scallop special was a single (large) scallop - although it was very tasty. I would definitely return.
Lots of fun!! Great small plates with lots of seasonal variety and flavor. Excellent mix of different ethnic choices!
Didn't realize when we made reservations that it was small plates (my husband is not usually a fan). Food was very good but kind of expensive for what we received. For some reason, Open Tables first available reservation was 7:30 but when we arrived there was NO ONE sitting inside - inside the restaurant was empty. Little confused why we had to wait so late for a reservation as there was ample seating. We chose to sit outside - very nice patio area, cool water feature - but we were aggravated by several biting flies throughout our dinner. Was a good new restaurant to try but don't know if we'll be back.
Shawarma and Tai chicken tasted the same, almost no spicing. Shrimp were large and tasteful, but the sauce was unremarkable. The only saving grace was the grilled cauliflower. The signature drinks were the largest disappointment, tasting like no more than bland fruit juice; but the server did remove one from the bill. All in all, the value and satisfaction fall far short of many more interesting options in Door County.
Totally fabulous, creative, healthy cuisine. We loved it so much that during our 3 day trip, we left one restaurant after a drink to drive back to glacier ledge. Lots of veggies, proteins and gluten free options. Fresh and delicious.
Fit for foodies
Great small plate experience. super presentation and really creative use of cheese with flatbreads
I really enjoyed my meal. I went with a friend that likes to share, which works well with the tapas style plates. Everything was exciting, new, and delicious.
The meal was delicious
Food was delicious and sharing-sized servings were perfect. We tried several items including a special scallop appetizer, raclette, a cheese board, and mini crab cakes. The crab cakes were among the best I’ve eaten, and the sauce was magical! The cheese master came by to chat about the raclette and the cheese board items, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great dinner!
Four friends had dinner here before tending a performance at Peninsula Players Theater.
Our entire experience was wonderful. The restaurant’s appearance from the highway does not do it justice. The interior and the patio are beautiful. The menu’s options are plentiful and the chef’s preparation and presentation are top-notch. The wine selection is great and - although they do not have a liquor license - their creative “mixed” drinks are delicious. This restaurant is highly recommended!!
I thought it was going to be way expensive but it wasn't. $100 for the two of us and we had more than enough. The dog was dissponted that we didn't bring more home. The blue cheese Ice cream was Iinretesting but I thought the two flavors didn't really mix.
This has become one of our go to restaurants. The food is always excellent, wait staff always friendly and helpful, atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. We would highly recommend Glacier Ledge.
Service was welcoming and attentive. Food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Going back tomorrow.
Food is excellent, service was fine. Atmosphere is nice but it's not an intimate setting.
Fun to share delicious creations of a talented chef
Truly enjoyed our dining experience. We were staying in Door County two nights, we planned to go here the first night of our stay. We went back the second night of our stay. I think that says it all! You should go, you’ll be happy you did.
Haven’t been to this restaurant in a year or two. After a great dinner we can’t wait to get back there. In fact one of the couples wanted to return the next night. Great variety of food. We really enjoyed the pork belly dish and mini cheese sandwiches.
We had a group of 11 and had a great experience at Glacier Ledge. Each dish was better than the next. Not to mention the amazing desserts!
Heat dinner. Everything we had was delicious. Sat outside and it was very nice. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed the variety of Food. A little expensive, but enjoyable.
Small portions. Plates are served as they are prepared so the entire group does not receive their food at the same time. If you wait for everyone to get their food the first people served will be eating cold food.
Food was outstanding. Suggest being more communicative in the menu that the theme is a Tapas theme. Timing of delivery is great for Tapas but not entrees.
We have enjoyed Glacier Ledge many times, and the food and service are consistently high quality. Highly recommended!
Delicious, creative food with a menu full of options. Everything was well executed with great flavors.
Fresh, delicious tapas style cuisine. Great wine list, friendly staff. Tasty children's menu.
Glacier Ledge has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Door County. The food and service is always outstanding! We love the small plates (which are actually quite generous in size) and enjoy trying several things each time we go. Try the roasted vegetable appetizer - it's delicious and there are many gluten free options! The outdoor patio is lovely.
We like the small plate approach to their menu. It gives us an opportunity to sample several different things rather than just selecting a single entre. We had the lamb, the duck and the sea bass and they were all terrific.
The food is thoughtfully crafted and presented. Sophisticated flavors.
Peg our waitress was super attentive and knowledgeable. Food was great.
What a hidden gem! We’ve been here 3 times this month. Each time we’ve tried new items and have really enjoyed them all. The amuse-bouche is a terrific tasty start to the experience. Housemade goat cheese with a red wine reduction and greens for a one bite wonder. The small plates are very very well prepared and thoughtful. The chef is AMAZING! The staff are knowledgeable and informed. Great bar choices as well. Fun outdoor space with yard games, fire pits, and a fountain. Truly a wonderful addition to Egg Harbor eating scene.
