Welcome to Door Artisan Cheese's Glacier Ledge Restaurant. Founder Mike Brennenstuhl had a vision to provide a three-fold culinary experience that educates, engages and excites guests in Door County. Chef Lawrence has embraced that vision through his menu. To him, dining is a holistic experience. He uses local and sustainable ingredients as much as possible. Many of the vegetables were grown right here on our property! He also has your health and well-being in mind. Most of our menu items are gluten free or can easily be adjusted to be and we have several vegan options. You are here to relax, dine and delight in the celebration of life and food. This Menu was designed to help you do that. Through chef's "small plate" concept, you can share and taste different dishes from around the world. Our newly added bar area adds another demention to our guests' experience.

Winter Menu was in force...had some challenges with the menu. Beef Barley soup was outstanding! Chicken dish was excellent, and flatbread was very good! Think need to call ahead to find out what soup of the day, and what specials will have that day. One cannot go by Online Menu. Overall a great place to eat - always great venue! We will be returning during this Winter!

Chef Lawrence has created a winter menu of flavors that is simply incredible. The freshest ingredients including a made to order white bean soup that was out of this world. This restaurant is quickly becoming our favorite on the peninsula.

Glacier Ledge is one of our favorite restaurants in DC with a welcoming fireplace, staff, and delicious menu. We took our daughter and we all enjoyed the generous bread plate and salads, the hanger steak entree as well as the roasted chicken breast over kale with a white chocolate
Mousse rounding out our meal — beautifully prepared and presented, reasonably priced — a lovely evening — thanks!

With busy lives my husband and I don't get to dine out often. The entire experience was a magical night for both of us. Great food service was perfect. We will be back to try more great items from the menu.

My girlfriend and I went on a Sunday early evening. It was pretty quiet. I can't say if it gets loud if it is busy. We sat next to the fireplace as it was a bit chilly. The food was very good. We had seared sea scallops and the shrimp special that they had for the evening. The food presentation was outstanding. The taste was delicious. We shared both meals. Both were good. It was the perfect amount for us, however, I think this would have left my husband still hungry if he had come. Portion size was smaller than I would have thought. There were only 2 large scallops on the plate. Seemed a bit on the small size. The sides that came with it were more of a garnish than a side. Again, very good food, but on the smaller size. I would go again, as I don't need a lot of food, but if you are a hearty eater, this may not be for you.

Four of us were up in Door County for the Century Ride!! This restaurant was excellent. Service and food were all great. Waitress was extremely helpful in deciding how many plates to order. We would all go back in a minute.

Great food! We ate outside and enjoyed the views and lawn games. Expect a relaxed pace. They don’t rush you and your patience will be rewarded with amazing flavor.

Lovely restaurant conveniently located near the Door County Trolley Company which is why our party of four selected this restaurant. Door County is so very busy on Labor Day weekend so we needed a place that was close. Glacier Ledge is such a unique eating experience but the concept needs More explanation for first time guests perhaps photos of the way the food is presented. There were at least seven specials we had to ask about and by the time our server listed them all we could remember none of them and it sounded like many of the specials were taken directly from the menu. Please print out a list of your specials! Hard to recommend a restaurant to others when you are still confused.

If you want something out of the ordinary this is the place to to go! We had excellent and interesting food. There were plenty of choices and I am a picky eater. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. We definitely will go back!

There were eight of us for dinner before a play. The food was excellent, every dish was a treat and we enjoyed sharing the small plates

The food is unique and nicely presented. We had the mahjool dates stuffed with a spicey blend, a great empanada, the flatbread with prosciutto, a great cheese, and a salad blend. We also had two steak meals, and the Valmy nachos. Beer and wine selection good. Perhaps the menu is a bit off putting and exotic, but it’s really nicely done. There’s a bar menu with sliders, empanadas, and lighter fare. Nice outdoor seating. I say give it a try, you’ll be proud of yourself for trying some unusual delicious dishes.

Interesting small plate food, well prepared and individually served in random order. My husband and I shared 3 plates and a dessert, which was adequate for us. We sat indoors and avoided the inevitable evening insect invasion.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were all very friendly.We were offered a dessert as we were celebrating a birthday,unfortunately we were too full to have one. We will definitely go back and will recommend it to others.

We ate on the patio on a very nice day. The staff were wonderful. We enjoyed the food, all of which was quite good. I was a little surprised that the scallop special was a single (large) scallop - although it was very tasty. I would definitely return.

Didn't realize when we made reservations that it was small plates (my husband is not usually a fan). Food was very good but kind of expensive for what we received. For some reason, Open Tables first available reservation was 7:30 but when we arrived there was NO ONE sitting inside - inside the restaurant was empty. Little confused why we had to wait so late for a reservation as there was ample seating. We chose to sit outside - very nice patio area, cool water feature - but we were aggravated by several biting flies throughout our dinner. Was a good new restaurant to try but don't know if we'll be back.
