Fantastic 9-course tasting menu with unbelievable wine pairing. Food quality and creativity was incredibly special, with personal service to match. Will definitely be returning!

We had the most fantastic evening at GL50. The seven course tasting menu and wine flight was absolutely incredible, and Sophie and the team took the time to talk us through every dish and wine. The attention to detail was incredible, the service impeccable, we will definitely be back again!

Outstanding on all levels. The food was sensational and beautifully presented. The minimal waste approach means ingredients have been used creatively. The service was second to none, the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. We will be going back soon. No idea how they haven't got a Michelin star.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. The whole meal was super delicious! Great menu choice with interesting and locally sourced ingredients. The staff were polite, friendly and really knowledgeable about the food which is helpful. Each course was beautifully presented. The mussel sauce in the Stonebass and samphire dish was amazing and the caramelised white chocolate pudding with sesame and honey was exquisite. Definitely coming back to try the tasting menu!

First visit to GL50, welcome and service excellent, great that chef took the trouble to come and meet diners. Innovative flavours and cooking. Starters and amuse bouche excellent as were puddings. Grouse main was a little tough but that apart, we had a great time and would certainly visit again.

We went for our two year wedding anniversary. They not only gave us and the tables around us incredible service and special touches but we both agree that it was the best food we had ever had! We will definitely be coming back again!
