Giuseppe's on 28th
We had a party of 4 and made reservations its a small restaurant! Food was hot and fresh. We would go there again
Great food at a reasonable price. Not much ambiance. Outdoor patio is very small and over looks a parking lot. Service is friendly, but very slow.
Exceptional all around. Can’t wait to go back soon.
Solid from start to finish.
Homemade pasta is such a treat
Enjoyed the meal and the jovial interaction with Chef Richard Bock. A delightful evening.
Food was amazing
Every meal we have ever had there has been excellent!
Always love dining here when we are in town from KC. Richard and Cindy do not disappoint! It’s a must if you are in Phoenix.
Great food and service, totally enjoyed our dining experience. We have recommended this place to several people since we dined there. We are here on vacation for two weekends, but certainly will consider going again before we return home.
Excellent food and limoncello martinis! Wonderful staff!
Wonderful to return
As an Italian, I rarely go out for Italian food. This place was amazing. The chef/owner was hospitable and checked on us often. The food was some of the best. You feel like you are in Italy after one bite. Highly recommend. We will be back
The baked ziti was the best I've ever had and I'm very picky. In most of the Italian restaurants I've been to, the tomato sauce tastes like they opened a can of sauce and heated it up but not here ... the sauce was perfect at Giuseppe's. Their hot flourless chocolate cake topped with a scoop of spumoni ice cream was like a lava cake except that the lava part seemed to run through the entire cake and I couldn't stop eating it. I will definitely be back again and again. I wish they were open for lunch.
Great food and service can’t wait to go back again
Great experience overall. Wonderful waitress, amazing food, great wine list. Would definitely go back!
Great local neighborhood restaurant with great Italian food. The service is always excellent and the food is great. check this place out.
Favorite place!! Love everything about the restaurant and staff!
I should have come here sooner. DELICIOUS food. Will for sure come back.
Love this couple— truly work hard and continue to make this a neighborhood gem (even though we do not live as close by now... always worth the trip)!
It’s been awhile seen we had been here. We had friends in from out of town and we all want Italian and causal. We had always had great fun and great meals here and our meal here was everything we have in past. The owner was most engaging. We had a ball
This is a great place. The food is fantastic and the service is really good. It's a small restaurant hurting a bit from covid. It was featured by Guy Fieri with good reason. Please go visit this restaurant and eat indoors. Cindy is fantastic!
Food was great but several tables came in after us and we're served well before us. Our server, Cindy was wonderful but had to keep answering the phone for takeout orders and had to leave the dine in guests waiting. When we commented on the long wait for our food, owner gave all kinds of excuses and was rude. He should have helped Cindy because she was the only server, but he was too important. We won't be returning- there are just too many other good restaurants competing with this one.
Love this place! Go a few times a month if possible. Great food, wine and service and Chef Bock is so nice to greet everyone. Sit outside if you can but the inside is so quaint and fun. Please go here!!
Weird experience. Went here on a date because I watched them featured on Diners,Drive ins, and Dives. Must have been old episode because the food and service were nothing to write home about.
This is a great neighborhood restaurant that makes you feel like you are family when eating here. The food is always great and so is the service. Check it out.
The service was good the food was better! Can’t wait to go back. Awesome.
Perfect intimate dinner spot. Delicious food that you can taste the freshness of. Awesome service as well, worth every penny in my opinion.
Wonderful food and service
This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. It's true what they say about simple, privately-owned restaurants - the appetizers and food were excellent. Not commercially perfect, but definitely "Nona's Kitchen" delicious.
Food was great but our service was slow and server was just clueless.
Cute little place that you can tell many regulars frequent. But it isn’t a romantic atmosphere for date night, if that is what you are going for.
Being from Chicago, I guess my standards were too high? I’m assuming people from Arizona don’t do the same Italian traditions as people from Chicago? Like olive oil and Parmesan cheese for bread before dinner, candles on the tables, etc....
We were also seated at the two person table in the hallway, so we caught all the traffic walking past, including regulars who wanted to look at celebrity’s pictures hanging over our table, without a mask.
The food was average. Nothing I haven’t had before at a lower price point, chain restaurant. Maybe there was something I was missing. Or again, maybe my standards were too high.
It’s not a waste of money, the food was good, but I’m not sure it would be my first choice for my next Italian meal.
Absolutely best Italian food around!!
Our favorite dining experience. The food and our waitress Cindy were both outstanding. A must for anyone that loves Italian dining.
Great food and service!
I always love going to this neighborhood restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is always really good. You have to go if you have never been or if it has been a while.
We eat here every time we are in Phoenix. The food is amazing and the owner always takes time to talk to you.
been going there for years' food always great.richard always good to talk to
If you want to support a small business, and you love Italian food, this is the place to go. The owner was helpful with our wine selection and so much fun. Garlic bread is delicious! Must have the avocado salad!
