downtown neighborhood restaurant that is casual and very good food. Would recommend a weekday visit ....not weekend where it is very busy and noisier. Very hands on owner-chef who
really wants you to enjoy your experience.
My friend and I enjoyed this place! The waitress was very friendly and nice. The food was delicious and the happy hour special was good! I ate the lobster and langostini risotto, it was to die for. It had the perfect blend of cheese and seafood. My friend enjoyed her dish of pork ravioli. We will def be returning.
Great food and a nice wine list! Friendly service - very accommodating.
Went for brunch on a recent Saturday and were treated to some great jazz. A new favorite that I would highly recommend.
Nice local atmosphere. Food tasty and well prepared. Will was very nice and provided excellent service and menu knowledge. Overall a nice time. Will do it again.
The owner took care of us throughout the meal, he was super attentive and friendly, answered all of our questions and took great care of us. We wouldn't normally order dessert, but it was included with the Travelzoo deal we purchased, and I'm so glad it was because their tiramisu is fantastic.
Delicious food, great service. Excellent for brunch!
Attentive and friendly staff who cared about our satisfaction. They want to know if you like the food, and were ready to do something about if not. That did not happen, as the food was great and so was the service.
I always have an issue when I walk into a restaurant and get a distinct bathroom/cleaner smell, which was the case here. The food and drinks were decent, but very overpriced for what they were—basic Mexican and margaritas. Wouldn’t go back unless I really wanted Mexican and everywhere else was booked
Very nice evening
Food was excellent and reasonably priced, and our waiter was wonderful. Fun atmosphere for a date. Will definitely go back.
The small plates we chose were amazing. The main course could have been better but on the overall were ok. The service and chef made a conscious effort to please their customers. I would like to try this place for lunch. It should be fun.
This place is a unique find in the big city. I will visit this location every time I go to NYC.
It's fun, the people are wonderful and the food is incredible. I returned here for a second night and had a couple of their little meatballs. I ended up having 16 meatballs and sauce frozen and shipped to my home in Colorado Via Fed ex for a dinner party and they were a huge hit. They arrived in a Styrofoam container, on time as promised and still frozen. Michael, Richard, Will, Laura and everyone there GREAT JOB!!!
We went for brunch on a freezing Sunday afternoon in NYC. The food was great. We had the cheese/meat board, chicken milanese and a poached egg plate. The service was good though we were one of two tables at 3:00PM. Would recommend.
The ambiance at Giulietta's is second to none. The staff is fantastic and definitely make you feel like you're part of the family. Great place to grab a drink and a quick appetizer, but we didn't have the best experience with our main courses. The pasta was heavy and lacked flavor and the menu was nothing unique. Would happily stop in for a drink and snack at the bar but wouldn't stay for dinner next time.
This restaurant was not good. The pasta was absolutely terrible. I could make a better pasta going to the grocery store and buying pre-made bolognese. I don't know why anyone was here - either they were paid actors or tourists.
Truffle special on menu was very expensive and disappointing. Otherwise we had a good meal and dining experience.
This has become my goto restaurant. Love it. Great food. Wonderful wine selection. OUTSTANDING service! Business or date night out. Great....
Service was outstanding, pasta dishes were excellent but portions were small, do not get the grilled octopus, meat and cheese plates were good. Reasonable value for meal.
This restaurant was very nice. It had outdoor seating, which allowed to "people watch", which we enjoy. The service was very courteous and attentive. The food was delicious and highly recommended.
You will not be disappointed and enjoy what this place has to offer.
Great food and service in the heart of the Village. Reasonably priced yet very good Italian.
Excellent food and wonderful service. We arrived early and the manager moved things around for us very happily. Great wine. Great homemade pasta.
A true gem. From the moment you arrive they take great care in making sure you have a wonderful experience. The food is spectacular and the location is the best.
This will soon be my favorite Tuesday spot ... I loved everything and the owners were fantastic -- it's still new (less than one year ) but they definitely have the service down pat. The menu was so appealing I wanted to order one of everything 💕 we started with the cheese plate - very generous .. the roasted vegetables were all fresh and perfected charred .. the Escarole salad dressed just right amount so that you could still take the slight bitter of the greens .. we had a wonderful Risotto w Amorone and Red Shrimp w fennel and currents -- Great wine selection .. and all at a very reasonable price --
The food was good but the portions could have been bigger. Good for a date night.
Didn't seem like they had sufficient servers. Also not very well trained. Expected a nicer experience.
My first time...had gone to IFC movie around the corner...had delicious artichoke flowers...and wild boar Ragu...very thick and flavorful..Staff very attentive.
Will definitely return.
Excellent food, ambiance, location and wine list! The chef had great reccos in the menu and wine pairings. Fun without being too loud, cozy, excellent for a fun night with friends!
I've been here before and loved it so I decided to return! The brunch is delish and they have fresh squeezed OJ and grapefruit juice for their mimosas!! I would return anytime! My waiter Lamar was awesome!
Had a delicious brunch and great experience! Friendly staff.
We love Guliettas! Live music around 1 pm and on Wednesday nights, and the food and service is always top notch
Was there for a music performance.
I purchased a pulsd brunch deal for this place because the menu sounded good and they offered bottomless! I was super impressed! My friend and I ordered the filet mignon hash and the panini with pancetta and carmelized onions and both were AMAZING!! Seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly! We had mimosas one toe which was made with fresh orange juice and another twist they had on a mimosa that was made with grapefruit juice, both were delicious!!! The bottomless was 2 hours and the waitress and other staff did not rush us and kept the drinks coming! I would come back here anytime at regular price as it was worth that and then some!
This was a great last minute find on OpenTable. The food was delicious and the owner came by to check in on us and make sure everything was great. The whole experience was so fun!
Good food but very small portionsize. Not worth the money.
So happy I went to Giulietta's, their brunch was phenomenal. The steak and eggs are a must. Looking forward to going again
The food was great. the service was great. The location was great. The noise level was painful. It was impossible to have a conversation or to fully enjoy the food. We asked them three times to turn down the volume of the music but it was still too loud.
A relatively new restaurant---the food was good. Basic Northern Italian food. We ate dinner on Sunday night and only 2-3 tables besides ours were taken. People were drinking at the bar, but it felt strange that the tables were empty. The service was okay---wait staff spilled water all over the table while filling our water glasses and didn't clean up the spill. Otherwise service was satisfactory.
I brought two friends here for a girls' valentines day outing and it was hands-down the best restaurant experience I've had in this city. The owner and chef both stopped by to see if we were enjoying our evening. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere is friendly, warm, and romantic. Our server was quick and very nice. We had the absolute best time and can't wait to come back.
Really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and service. I'm Italian and thought the food was pretty authentic...from their delicious warm bread and olive oil to their desert. My "Risotto al mare " was very generous in lobster and perfectly creamy. Thor wine selection is pretty impressive too. The staff went above and beyond, making me feel like at home in Italy. I would surely go back
Michael Greco, Chef and Owner, will BLOW YOU AWAY! Having read previous reviews, I took a shot at this 4-month (new) Bistro that is absolutely TOP NOTCH for a very important date. Giulietta's Cantina delivered in every way possible. Micheal greeted us at the table with immediate recommendations ("try Prosecco + pear/ricotta ravioli" YUM!) then a rare 1995 Malvira (barbera + nebbiolo) that was absolutely impressive. It matched the homemade fettuccine with porcini and BLACK TRUFFLE like a charm. This very special event closed with a homemade Tiramisu that I will absolutely set your new standard for what is possible. Michael's enthusiasm and personal charm graced us throughout the evening. Frankly this Cantina is the perfect date spot "Fit for Foodies" but having "The Game" on at the bar was unfortunately a minor distraction. I HIGHLY recommend Giulietta's Cantina. Thank you, Michael Greco!
