Chef Rob Rossi & David Minicucci, of Toronto favourite L'Unità, have collaborated to bring a genuine neighbourhood restaurant to Dufferin Grove.

Designed by acclaimed architect Guido Costantino Projects, a beguiling interior sets the stage for a convivial family-style dining experience that honours traditional Italian fare while showcasing stand-out ingredients.

Original brick and beam frame this warm, welcoming space where no detail is left unconsidered. Copper, Italian wool & red oxidized steel accents interplay with blonde wood and terrazzo, creating a rich, textured environment as enticing as Chef Rossi’s menu offerings.

Our server was amazing. The sommelier was also very helpful & helped us choose great wines! Most of the food was amazing except two dishes which were only so so! Ambience was great too. Wonderful experience, thank you!

We heard so many good things about giulietta that we were dying to try it. We made a reservation a month in advance to be able to try this new place. And we have to say, it exceeded our high expectations. Sitting at the counter watching the chefs do their thing was so entertaining. Danielle our waitress was so pleasant, fun and added an extra element to our evening. The chefs all thanked us for joining them also and the overall experience was 12/10. I didn’t even mention the food which was delicious. I can’t wait to come back to try the other dishes we missed. This restaurant is phenomenal and I will be recommending it to everyone!

Not a good experience ... will not go back .. Waited for 25 minutes standing while they sat other people and we had reservations ..lots of attitude .. how it is top 10 in Canada no idea .. decor was great maybe that's it.. food was below average .. Caico e Pepe was swimming in sauce!! Ugh .. flavour was more of processed cheese and soup versus traditional cheese and pepper .. this Roman dish was not done well to say the least!

It is the place to be seen at the moment.
Difficult to talk as it is noisy.
Front section is separated from the back section by the bar/ eating counter. It f eels as if u are not part of larger section of the restaurant.
If at the front it is cold when door opens.
I think you can get a great bowl of pasta in a lot of good places ie Ardo, speducci Mercato,... without all the current vibe. It really depends what u want from a restaurant.

I went here with a friend on a Tuesday night. The food was good, but the atmosphere uncomfortable. We had the smoked ricotta and guanciale ravioli which was excellent, the pork chop which was a bit on the dry side and a bit overly seasoned with fennel but an interesting combo, as well as the asparagus which was nicely cooked but a bit dry and could've used a sauce or something buttery. The service was okay, a bit awkward and anxious at times but not neglectful. And the ambiance was very uneasy. Truly the only complaint is how loud and uncomfortable the restaurant is. The music was loud enough that we had to raise our voices and it was very hyper pop. And the interior feels a bit cold and disorganized. I'm not sure I would go here again, but am not totally against it.

Food was great — all very tasty and interesting combinations. Server was knowledgeable and helpful as we worked through the menu.

Only negative: pacing. First courses came out very quickly followed by long waits before both second and third courses. Dessert came out within seconds. Would recommend the kitchen work on more even pacing between courses.

Overall very good experience with some room for improvement

Giulietta is my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. It is authentic food that is served in a lovely atmosphere. Their sommelier, Kim, is wonderful and so knowledgeable! All of the staff is great and if you sit at the counter you get to watch the show! It makes you even hungrier. Highly recommend!!!!

It is one of the best Contemporary Italian restaurants in North America. We are from New York but there are not many or any that compare to their quality and fresh ingredients
Their service is excellent. It was our first dinner attempt after our daughter had a baby and they were super attentive and kind and able to accommodate a baby carriage in a quieter corner with us.
It made her feel so good to be there after a very successful and delicious evening and she felt good coming back to the outside world after the childbirth .

We waited half an hour to be seated, then almost another half hour to get our appetizer (fried cheese which was not what we were expecting from such a hyped up restaurant). In total we had our first course an hour after arriving. The pasta was good but nothing special, service was poor. Overall very disappointed.

The food was amazing and delicious. The wine list is unique and the sommelier was very helpful. The service was impeccable and the ambiance was inviting. The decor is beautiful and very well done. They have maintained the integrity of the old space and modernized it to have a really classy vibe. My group had a great experience all around. Highly recommend this spot.

My wife and I went to celebrate a spontaneous celebratory dinner. The service was incredible, hospitality that was akin to visiting an old & very gracious dear friend. We were seated at the bar and the staff took incredible care of us with tailored & thoughtful concoctions. The decor & design elements throughout the place were understated yet discerning and nuanced. The food was solid Italian fare done well, refined but not too pretentious. All in all a memorable experience with courteous and attentive staff (a rarity in Toronto) that know how to ensure we leave with a smile on our face.

My friend’s pasta was a little too sweet for her liking but everything I ate was super delicious. I’m not one to order fried calamari, but their’s was perfection. The pulpo was the best I’ve had in Toronto. Can’t wait to return!

This was my third time here and while my other times everything was perfect this time they missed the mark - both the octopus and pork chop were over-cooked. Something I would have shared with our server if she had asked, which she never did.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent food, attentive service and fabulous interior decor. The space is minimalist but with a warm welcoming vibe. Server and hostess extremely friendly and attentive and accommodating. We loved their octopus, pizza and oxtail ragu with homemade pasta. Their Brussels sprouts were good but I prefer for them to be cooked more. For dessert try their torta Della Nona and tiramisu (more on the sweeter side though). I will dine there again soon!

Everything from start to finish was perfect. Food was delicious and service was on point; our meal was coursed out well and she was around for anything we needed without being obtrusive. The chef's bar is a must on your visit! The entire BOH team was just as lovely and interacted with us quite a bit. I will most definitely be back.

Just amazing! Every dish was phenomenal. The pulpo is a must, the pappardelle was unbelievable as was the steak, cauliflowers with raisins, and the salad was the best we’ve ever had! We sat at the kitchen bar and the only downside was that we watched beautiful food being assembled on to the plates and just could not eat any more! The ravioli and the capon in a sage butter sauce looked divine and so we shall be making another visit soon!
